Subject: Proof of Outrightly Disobeying Baba

As we all know, Ba’ba’ has given the system of observing Vijaya Dashamii as part of Sháradotsava from Śaśt́hii to Dashamii in Carya’carya. And we are to follow His social code.

Baba says, “In a word, Ananda Marga’s social code fulfils all the conditions of an ideal social code – it is universal, rational and psychological. It is eminently suited to the development of a dynamic social structure in this rapidly-changing world. As it has been formulated in conformity with the physical, psychic and social needs of human beings, people from all walks of life fully support it and are enthusiastically engaged in its implementation.” (Ananda Marga Philosophy in a Nutshell – 4)

The social code of Ananda Marga is ideal in all respects and, every Ananda Margii knows that Caryacarya is our social treatise. As stated above, in Caryacarya it is given that we are to observe and celebrate (a) Children’s Day (Śaśt́hii), (b) Public Day (Saptamii), (c) Fine Arts Day (Aśt́amii), (d) Music Day (Navamii), and (e) Victory Day (Dashamii) or Vijayotsava. These are our Ananda Marga festivals as given by Baba as part of Sháradotsava. (Reference Caryacarya Part 1, Social Functions and Festivals)

And this year (2012), these five days of festival arrived on 20 Oct to 24th October.

Unfortunately, instead of observing the A’nanda Festivals related with Sháradotsava, from Śaśt́hii to Vijaya Dashamii, from 20th Oct to 24th Oct, some persons observed the dogmatic function of so-called mahaprayan in Tiljala from 21st to 24th October. And on the 20th they either prepared for so-called mahaprayan observances or they used it as a travel day get to Tiljala etc. In so doing, they went against Sadguru’s instruction of celebrating the five festival dates of Sháradotsava.

Ba’ba’ taught us to follow – Mantramu’lam Gururva’kyam – but some of our brothers & sisters are going against His instruction. Really it is quite regrettable.



If we follow Ba’ba’s instructions there won’t be differences among us.

Third Front / EC joined Kalikata administration after Kinshuk da’da’ was made PP. Some had the hope that by this approach there would be a way of unifying other factions. But “unifying” various groups around a particular agenda is not unity. That never works.

The key point is that we have to bring ideological unity by following His instructions / guidelines given in black & white – not by following any groupist agenda like so-called mahaprayan. We are to abide by all His instructions.

Thus no one should fall prey to observing the dogmatic occasion of so-called mahaprayan. After all, so-called mahaprayan was prescribed by a few human beings, i.e. avadhu’tas / purodhas; whereas Vijaya Dashamii and the 5 festival dates of Sháradotsava was given by Mahasambhuti Baba Himself. On this ideological issue, I condemn the Kolkata faction.

I request one & all of our brothers / sisters to observe the festivals given in Carya’carya by Beloved Ba’ba’ & discard / reject the so-called commemoration invented by human beings like the members of the then central committee in the year 1990/91. Kindly scrap that appendix – “Mahaprayan Divas” – from Carya’carya without ifs & buts.

The solution is to follow Baba including His given festival dates, not the dogmatic programs like so-called mahaprayan invented by human beings.


Those who have devotion towards Guru will follow Him; they will do what He says. When our Ananda Marga festival of Victory Day, Vijaya Otsava (Dashamii) – and the other dates of Sháradotsava from Śaśt́hii to Dashamii – occurs during the same time as so-called mahaprayan, then one has to choose to either follow Guru or some obsolete groupists. Either one has to follow the dharma of Ananda Marga or the dogma of one group. True bhaktas will surely follow Baba and His eternal dharma.

And indeed, this issue will come up year after year as Vijaya Otsava (Dashamii) and the so-called mahaprayan program are going to coincide again and again. And not only Vijaya Otsava, but Diipavali too. On some years, the so-called mahaprayan program coincides with Baba’s given celebration of Diipavali. So that is another key point.

Those who follow the real teachings of Ananda Marga will celebrate Vijaya Otsava & Diipavali whereas those who blindly cling to the skeletons of dogma will fall in the mahaprayan category. Obviously, best is to follow Guru and His shining ideals and that is what most in Ananda Marga are doing.

All bhaktas will always follow Baba and celebrate His given festivals like Vijaya Dashamii & Diipavali.


I close this letter with these guidelines from Sadguru Baba:

[A] Baba says, “Ananda Marga wants to build up an ideal society such as this [moral society]. There should be a congenial environment where people will get the opportunity to enhance their physical, psychic and spiritual progress, and advance rhythmically and in unison towards Parama Puruśa. Hence, Ananda Marga has formulated a social treatise for the establishment of a congenial social structure.” (Prout Nutshell – 16)

[B] “Collective social functions. Many social problems arise due to lack of magnanimity, such as not properly understanding or respecting the views of others. This not only keeps people apart, but also makes them hostile to each other. People come together in different festivals and social functions which foster mutual bonds of unity. When they participate in such activities and remain engaged in the same type of collective action, they develop the feeling of temporary affinity. Ananda Marga encourages these types of social functions. Collective bathing and collective meditation on special occasions are as good as common social functions.” (Tattva Kaomudii – 2)

[C] Baba says, “In a word, Ananda Marga’s social code fulfills all the conditions of an ideal social code – it is universal, rational and psychological. It is eminently suited to the development of a dynamic social structure in this rapidly-changing world. As it has been formulated in conformity with the physical, psychic and social needs of human beings, people from all walks of life fully support it and are enthusiastically engaged in its implementation.” (Ananda Marga Philosophy in A Nutshell – 4)

[D] Baba says, “Caryacarya contains the guidelines for how an individual can best contribute his efforts to the collective momentum. It also provides guidelines for how the collective body shall foster each individual’s physical and psychic welfare.” (Prout Nutshell – 18, Talks on Education – Excerpt A)


Sincere margiis adhere to the code of Caryacarya where it says to follow Vijaya Dashamii as part of Sháradotsava from Śaśt́hii to Dashamii (20 Oct to 24 Oct 2012), not the so-called mahaprayan program invented by human beings. We should follow vijaya dahasamii given by Mahasambhuti. Those supporting so-called mahaprayan should think again: Why are you going against Baba? He is the Guru of all in Ananda Marga and all should follow His guideline.

My personal feeling is that those attending so-called mahaprayan divas have pure intentions; but, even then, according to the laws of prakrti, they will have to face the consequences for their wrongful action. Idol worshipers get turned into stone for adhering to their dogma; similarly, those supporting so-called mahaprayan will face reactions as well. Remember, disobeying Guru is abominable; we all should be vigilant to follow Him.

“We will not deviate an inch from our ideology, nor will we allow others to do so.” (Namah Shivaya Shantaya, Shiva’s Teachings – 2: Disc 14)

Baba, You know that very person was with You in each and every rhythm of the song, he was also with You in all kinds of works – always remaining by Your side. Baba, please do not forget him.

Baba, by Your grace I never forget this eternal truth that You are everything. You are the effulgence of the day as well as the darkness of the night. Baba, in this life of mine I have loved only You. Baba, You are the heart of my heart. Please shower Your divine grace on me day and night, incessantly. Subject: Underlying Reasons Behind Mess At DMS



In the wake of the recent goings-on in Ananda Nagar, some have been led to conclude that a single DMS was held. With a balanced mind we should determine how far this is accurate. We should also understand the forces at play behind the mess at this January 2012 DMS.

Please consider the following and share your thoughts.


1. Late in the game, i.e. at the end of 2011, the Tiljala Administration (a.k.a. B group) petitioned for a court injunction to hold their winter DMS in December – as opposed to having to wait until January. Tiljala got a favourable review by the courts and were granted the December time slot. By this way they were able to hold DMS on Dec 29, 30 & 31. And as we all know that is what happened.


1a. Indeed this court drama started in one court, went to another court, and then returned back to the original court. During the December month itself of 2011, B group approached the District Administrative Court of Purulia, then Ranchi made a plea with the High court of Kolkata and finally the case was referred back to the District Administrative Court of Purulia. This was the see-saw battle going on in the courts during the month of December 2011. Ultimately B group got what they wanted, yet through it all the mass of margii were confused and in the dark over who was controlling what at Ananda Nagar and why.


2. Prior to Dec 2011/12, the Tiljala Administration was generally holding their winter DMS in January. But they repeatedly complained that if they could hold DMS in late December then their attendance would be stellar.

3. So little by little B group made plans and appealed to gain access of the Ananda Nagar pandal for December.

4. Needless to say, the Ranchi side was not happy about this. For years they were the ones who held their winter DMS on Dec 30, 31 & Jan 1. But this winter they lost those dates and were forced to hold their DMS in January. And that is what they did.

5. Clearly then there were two DMS, no one can conclude that a single DMS was held. Furthermore, who can deny that the events leading up to DMS and DMS itself was pur chaos. And more proof is given below.


6. The question is why this all this occur? And the reason is quite clear. Far more margiis attend Ranchi DMS programs than the Kolkata DMS programs. Year after year that has been the case. So Kolkata group planned that if they could somehow snatch away the Ranchi DMS dates – late in the year after margiis had already made their travel plans – then they (Kolkata) would be able to steer those margiis to their own DMS. That was their only and entire motivation.

7. More of this history is as follows. B group used to justify and complain that their winter DMS was exponentially smaller than the Ranchi DMS because Ranchi had their December dates into the new year. B group put forth the claim that if they had those dates than people naturally would appreciate and attend their DMS.

But, what they failed to examine was why the attendance at the Ranchi summer DMS far more than the B group summer DMS. After all, during summer the dates are not fixed – rather they are always changing. Yet in this program too, Tiljala camp had far less people at their DMS. This itself proves that dates alone do not determine the attendance at DMS. So B group’s logic the dates were the main issue for their small winter DMS attendance does not hold water.

The truth is that mass of margiis of Delhi sector prefer the Ranchi group and their DMS program. People basically think that Ranchi is the main structure or the original organisation. Ranchi – not Kolkata – is viewed as the legal administration by the courts and govt. How far this last statement is logical or really true in this present condition is debatable. But what is clear is that Ranchi has consistently drawn higher numbers.


8. By changing the dates for this recent DMS, the Kolkata camp had everything to gain, and virtually nothing to lose. Because in years past their typical numbers at DMS were paltry. They could not do any worse by changing the dates.

9. In stark contrast, the Ranchi side had everything to lose by this date change. They were consistently attracting large numbers to their DMS programs and people were habituated to arrive for their program on Dec 30. But now that date was no longer theirs. And indeed they lost big. That was the price they paid by not being more vigilant in handling this ordeal with the courts.

10. Ranchi’s only option then was to adopt more forceful policies. So to prevent the loss of all their regular attendees, they tried hard to keep maximum margiis in the Prout Bhavan and the Kiirtan Mandap, since B group had rights to the Pandal on Dec 30 & 31. So Ranchi was busy in damage control, i.e. trying to lose the least number of margiis.

11. In stark contrast, B group had the pandal and was doing everything possible to increase their numbers and take full advantage of the situation. Since the mass of margiis sleep in the pandal, it was very convenient for those margiis to remain there for DMS. Secondly, B group discarded the system of needing a gate pass to attend. By this way they thought that the maximum people would come in their contact and they could take measures to keep them in their group camp.


12. This then is a snap-shot of the scene and anyone with a balanced mind will easily conclude that there were 2 DMS programs, not 1. All will understand that this DMS was a mess where unity was nowhere in sight.

After all unity does not come by collecting people in one state, one region or even one place. The 20 or 30 people at a bus stand also do not constitute unity, nor does a movie theatre filled with 500 or 700 attendees. In such cases, every person is there with their own plan and their own program. As we know unity stems from within, following the same spiritual goal and working in coordinated fashion to manifest Baba’s teachings on this earth.

Baba says, “Human unity is purely an ideological unity, which means unity in the psychic sphere. Where there is psychic unity, physical unity will also occur. In the realm of unity, unity is always psychic – ideological unity means unity in the subtlest level of the mind. However, psychic or ideological unity may be affected if we encourage the exploitation of one group by another.” (PNS-15, Talks on Prout)


In review here are some of the key points to know about the recent DMS scene at Ananda Nagar.

* On January 1, 2012, each of the three rival groups held their own separate Ananda Vanii readings. They each selected their own chosen Vanii and met with their own followers in separate locations. Does this look like the atmosphere of one DMS? Does this not seem like a mess.

* To deter people from attending the B group DMS, H group made it clear that B group attendeess would not be welcome at their January 1-3, 2012 program.

* During December 30/31, H group was vigilant in keeping margiis in their own campus under their own watch and care. They were busy keeping the margiis at the Prout bhavan and kiirttan mandap. Plus they were doing collective programs like bhajan, kiirttan, and organisational meetings wherever their group had control in the jagrti, or Ba’ba’ quarter etc.

* Kinshuk’s formal DMS speech and the Ranchi group kiirtan were going on simultaneously. With full exuberance Ranchi group used firecrackers and noise-makers to start their kiirtan. Those in the pandal at the B group DMS reported that it was thereby difficult to hear Kinshuk’s speech.

* B group’s entire aim by getting the December DMS dates was to get more attendees by encroaching on Ranchi’s regular DMS dates.

* Ranchi knew they were in danger of losing masses of people to the B group DMS so they employed various techniques of damage control. They engaged margiis in their own areas during the B group DMS and the set down the law then those attending B group DMS would not be allowed to enter the Ranchi DMS.


Instead of resorting to trickery, guile and deceit to maximize their DMS attendance. We should all allow margiis due freedom to attend the program they prefer.

This year people not aware about what was going on until they reached there and even then they have little ability to change or do anything since their travel plans and lodging were set.

Thus we will have to wait until next year to determine the situation. If really all margiis reach on 30 Dec for DMS and then remain for Dec 31 and Jan 1 and then leave, then we say it is one DMS. But if other DMS type programs are going on before or after that, then who can think there is unity.

The mess at the January 2012 DMS proves that it was not one. It may have looked like one for those with vision problems. Such people may also conluded that the khumbha mela is also one, when in fact it is divided up by countless priests.

Those thinking groupism is vanishing away are not aware of reality, rather at this DMS it was very poisonous. In India, they used to forcibly marry boys and girls, and that created lifelong problems for that married couple. We should not replicate such a thing in our Marga. AM cannot become united by the force of the courts. As humans we have a mind and a heat and must study Baba’s teachings and unify around His ideology.



“Marmaviin’a’y eki sur a’chi ba’je diva’nishi mor virahii hiya’r ma’jhe…” (P.S. 480)


Baba, day and night, in the viina of my heart, only one tune is resonating in my melancholic heart. O’ my dearmost Baba please come. In the deep core of my mind only one tune is swinging: O’ Baba, You are not far away, You are not far, You are so close, You are with me.

Baba, when I see You in my karmayajina*, then I see You are remaining there also. Baba, You are with me in all the works. O’ Baba, please come, O’ Baba please come.

With the full longing of my heart, in whichever direction I look, there is nothing else that I can see except for Your divine form. O’ my Lord of Formlessness, with the resonance of the ever-new song, dance, & form, please allow Yourself to be held in my heart.

O’ Baba, please come, O’ Baba please come…

*Karmayajina: The work done with cosmic ideation is known as karmayajina; that alone is proper action. Thus karmayajina is any action or service done with the sole motive to please Parama Purus’a. In contrast those things done devoid of cosmic feeling, such selfish activities are called kriya’– and that leads to bondage. So only those works done with spiritual ideation come within the scope of karmayajina.

We Should Take Lesson

Baba says, “If one stays away from objects of attraction, one has no chance of using them and they may thus gradually lose their attraction; while if one is near them one may be attracted towards them more.” (AMEP, 98 Edn, p.126)

Note: This is the first letter in an on-going series. Please watch for the next installment soon. You are also welcome to write us with more news should you be aware about these events or related situations.

As Ananda Margiis, our aim is to follow Baba’s divine guidelines and spread His teachings all around. Thus each and every one of us must become a veritable medium of Ananda Marga ideology. Our conduct must reflect His teachings.

Nowadays, there are three main groups that comprise the current landscape of our Marga. Let’s take a peek into the inner workings of these groups to see what makes them tick.

Then we can decide for ourselves how far they represent the ideals of AM – i.e. which one is best.


There is a distinct “working style” within the ranks of the Ranchi faction these days. So long as you tow the party line, you are fine, i.e. free to do as you please. However, if you fail to tow the party line, then regardless of how sterling your conduct is, you will be in trouble.

This may sound strange or odd to some, but for our many sincere Wt brothers and sisters who live inside the Ranchi tent, this is their harsh reality – day in, day out. For them this is not a joke, but a major aspect of their existence.

While there are many critical stories and news to share, the following account seems to be the most urgent. It is going on as we speak and we should be ready to take a stand.


Everyone knows that Didi Ananda Kalyanmaya – a junior Didi in our Marga – has been quite sincere and ideal in her ways since becoming a wholetimer. Here is Didi’s story and what she is facing these days.

Early on and up till quite recently, Ananda Kalyanmaya was quite close with Hariisha’nanda Dada. They were both from the same village in Madhya Pradesh and Didi looked upon Dadaji as her esteemed elder brother. After all, Hariisha’nanda entered wholetimer life back in the 1980’s.

So Didi held him in high regard and sought out his counsel and advice on many issues. She genuinely felt that he was her well-wisher and a trusted guide. Dada always seemed to act very kindly towards her. Naturally, Didi thought that Dada was a saintly person.

Unfortunately, the way Didi was thinking of Dada was not the way Dada actually was.

On one particular occasion, Hariisha’nanda expressed his inner intentions toward Didi and she become totally overwhelmed and shocked. Here she was thinking that Dadaji is a great sadhaka of the Marga and a trusted advisor, and now this very same Hariisha’nanda is openly expressing his crude desires towards her. After hearing this, Didi Ananda Kalyanmaya left the place immediately with her honour in tact.

But that was not the end of it.

Hariisha’nanda was furious and thought to save his own prestige and take revenge. Dada immediately began undermining Didi’s life and reputation at every opportunity. He started spreading false and filthy rumours about her character – claiming her as a prostitute.

(Please excuse me for using this word in reference to our kind-hearted and sincere Didi. My only reason for using that “p” term is to demonstrate the extent of Dada’s negative and mean-minded dealings.)

In this way Hariishananda was psychically torturing and verbally accosting Didi.

Even then it did not stop there. All know well that Hariisha’nanda is the #3 man in the chain of command on the Ranchi side. There is Rudrananda, then Madhuvratananda, and then Hariishananda. So he has a lot of power and pull.

Soon after, Hariisha’nanda & Ranchi COS (Citsvarupananda) called Ananda Kalyanmaya and gave her an order which was clearly against our organisational system. In essence, these two Dadas were setting Didi in one trap. She rightly refused the order.

Then the entire Ranchi brass (i.e. all top Dadas including Rudrananda) took their revenge. Eight months earlier Rudrananda had considered Ananda Kalyanmaya a trusted and loyal servant as she was close with Hariishananda etc. So Rudrananda had rewarded her with the posting of LFT Trainer in NY sector at the center in Monterrey, Mexico. Rudrananda was thinking that it would be good for him to have her there in NY, as she would support him. So for months, COS Dada had been working diligently in getting Didi the requisite papers to go to NY.

In an instant all those grand plans went up in smoke. The moment Didi refused their anti-ideological order, these three Dadas systematically tore down every convention in Didi’s life. Indeed, COS changed the posting order without even telling or consulting the Ranchi PP / President, Ac Vishvadevananda. They were purposely keeping Didi in India where they could essentially annihilate her and make her life miserable. How dare she stand up to their corrupt orders.

And that is where things stand today.

As we speak, our dear Didi Ananda Kalayanmaya is still facing the ugly wrath of these Dadas. They are literally out to destroy and break her. That is the notorious agenda of these Ranchi camp Dadas. With their arrogance and selfishness they want to ruin the life of one of our very sincere and junior avadhutikas. Such is their modus operendi. This is how they behave.


Before writing anything further and describing how EC and B group run their camps, we should all realise that it is our bounden duty to save the prestige and life of Didi Ananda Kalyanmaya. Sitting quietly when such a grave injustice is going on against this innocent Didi is veritably pratyavaya (sin of omission). So we should take the matter seriously and come to Didi’s side and support her. There is no other way.


Now that you have heard about Ranchi, we should take a look at EC. Actually it is well understood that EC has very little structure and hence very little discipline. Being in EC is like being on a permanent vacation, or thereabouts.

Here again while there are numerous tales from the EC side that need to be told, let’s here consider the story and news of Didi Ananda Krsnapriya (RSL / DSL, Portland, Oregon, USA). Didiji recenty proclaimed that she could never support Ranchi because Ranchi does not follow Baba’s system and protocol.

Hearing this, we might all conclude that this must be a very dharmic Didi. Well, let’s take a closer look.

Didi Ananda Krsnapriya actually has a long history of misconduct herself. She was the Didi who first became romantically involved with Dada Anandeshvarananda before he ultimately left the organisation. Then this same Didi Ananda Krsnapriya got physically involved with VSS Dada Vichitrananda. To be with him, Didi would regularly blow off her TP (tour program) and follow her own whim and fancy just to be with Dada. Plus there are “others” in her life.

But now look what injustice Didi Ananda Krsnapriya is involved in and see how the EC leaders are doing nothing about it. Not only does Didi like to be romantically involved, but she has taken to match-making other Didis with Dadas. Is that not shameful?

Our workers have come and pledged themselves to a high idea and Didi Ananda Krsnapriya is pushing them into the mud.

One of her prized match-making feats was setting up Didi Ananda Atandra with Dada Kamalkrsnananda. Not only did they mate, but in 2006 these two Wts married each other. All thanks goes to Didi Ananda Krsnapriya.

But even then that is not all.

Ex-Didi Ananda Atandra refused to return to Delhi sector (she is originally from Mumbai) after leaving her Wt ship and marrying Dada. So then what is Ex-Didi Ananda Atandra doing for income? Well, she is working at the New Day School in Portland, OR as part of the administrative team. Is that not outrageous. And not only that, she was hired by Didi Ananda Krsnapriya.

So here we have a double faux pas:
(1) An ex-Didi remaining in the sector where she was previously posted; and,
(2) having that ex-Didi working in one of our AM schools.

Baba never, never appreciated such things. Yet now it is happening right under the nose of EC and they have given their blessing.

In case you were wondering, Ananda Atandra’s offiicial tite at the New Day School is: Board of Directors, Program Direct, Accounts. Not a bad title for an ex-Didi. Indeed you can see her profile and photo on the New Day School website

And camp EC has given their approval, otherwise they would have forced her to leave by now. Keeping all this in mind, you can estimate the standing of this EC group.


Now we come to the final news for you to consider – then you can decide for yourself which group is truly best.

For years and years there was a senior Dada in and around NY sector named Dada Sarvabodhananda. Early on Dada had quite a sterling reputation even though his conduct was otherwise. Unfortunately he had a penchant for sisters – lots of them.

And for some time this happened without much notice from others.

But then Dadaji really stepped in the bucket. Just a few years ago he engaged in sexual relations with the daughter of a very well respected margii family. And what a scandal it became – most everyone heard about it. The bravery of the margii daughter was unprecedented and she stood tall, refusing to become yet another voiceless victim of Sarvabodhananda’s deceitful dealings. So the thing erupted into a major public scandal.

(Note: To maintain the honour and respect of the girl (she was 20 years old at the time), it is essential not to mention her name, nor her place, nor her parents’ names.)

In the wake of all this, Centre called Sarvabodhananda for punishment and re-training.

Seeing this, B group then jumped in and caught their prey. They told Sarvabodhananda that if he joined B group then he need not go through the humiliation of re-training. He could simply join the ranks and get a post. Because B group is not interested in the moral character of a worker, their only thought is that they should become more powerful by having more and more Wts.

Hearing this offer, Sarvabodhananda did indeed join B group. It was his ticket to freedom and respect without ever having to atone for his sin.

So that is B group’s normal way of operating. They have a long history of taking fallen workers and alluring them with a good post. By this way they increase the number of their cadre. And that is their only concern.

Let us also remember that this is the same group that has done untold damage to Baba’s discourses and books. This group has single-handedly ruined Baba’s scripture by their wrong style of translation and declaring that all discourses must be translated from the “original” Bangla. So this is yet another wrong we have to clean up.

And then of course there is the fact that B group also introduced their dogmatic tomb workship in Tiljala. Plus they invented Fake Ananda Vaniis and curtailed BP rights.

All of that adds up. So one has to think: Is this the best group? If not then, which one?


While everyone is free to choose for themselves which group they think is best – the facts remain for all to see.

And, side by side, we should all be vigilant to step forward and save our dear Didi Ananda Kalyanmaya from ongoing psychic torture and suffering. Her situation is quite dire and we should not sit still. We must not allow Hariishananda and Co to exert their will and continue to ruin her. That is 100% injustice.

So once again all can decide freely which group is best, but we are all bound to act on behalf of Ananda Kalyanmaya. It is my duty and your duty to do so.

Baba says, “I have said many times in the past that no one in this world is to be neglected. But while doing something activated by group interest, if some people are neglected or their development is obstructed, should this be tolerated? No.” (Prout Nutshell – 12, Service Psychology and Group Psychology)


By Baba’s grace, when our acarya cadre and leaders come clean and follow His divine guidelines, then groupism will be a thing of the past in our Marga. Then we will not have to sit around and decide which group is the best. Then our Marga will be one perfect, monolithic structure where our leaders stick to dharma every step of the way.

Divine Guideline in Dhyana Process

Baba says, “In the fourth phase the relationship is just like a piece of paper; the unit consciousness of the spiritual aspirant is one side of the paper and the Cosmic Consciousness of Parama Purus’a is the other side of the paper; they are inseparable, one cannot be removed from the other. By His effulgence the unit existence, the existential faculty of the aspirant gets lighted, gets illumined. With His illumination the aspirant is to move forward and enjoy the Supreme Beatitude and the Supreme Composure.” (SS-18, p. 13)

Baba has given this following song to warn those who are demons in human form, who by their nefarious work are destroying the peace by spreading poison and bringing disaster.

Why have you lost your rational sense and started moving on the path of annihilation and ruination. You made this golden earth poisonous with the domination of your disastrous theories, i.e. the dogma of groupism etc. You threw away the high ideals of spirituality and you forgot the eternal truth that whatever strength you are getting, that is coming from Him…Parama Purusa…Baba… He is the source. So you lost the sense and you do not like to understand that, to pulverize your ego, the trident of Parama Purusa is active…


Note: This letter details the wrongs done to our Prout publications including Prout Nutshell part 19, Prout Nutshell part 20, and Proutist Economics. In addition, this letter examines how one group – in particular – has committed permanent wrongs to Baba’s divine teachings, mostly done to highlight their own samaj. Please read the following and keep for your future reference. Only through our collective efforts, along with Baba’s grace, will we be able to set everything right.

Ours is a universal society aimed at projecting Baba’s ideals to one and all. So we have to be vigilant when any impediment within the Marga crops up and steers things in a different direction. Please read the following and together we can decide what should be done.


Here is the situation: One group has altered and distorted Baba’s Prout books in order to highlight their own samaj. Let me explain further.

Specifically, two editions of the “Prout in a Nutshell” series, i.e. parts 19 & 20, were intentionally dyed in the colour of Bangalisation – i.e. extreme preference towards the A’mara’ Bengali samaja at the expense of Baba’s entire samaj theory.

In these two books (PNS 19 & 20) there are 13 full discourses dedicated to Bengal – and hardly a mention of any other samaj. This gives the false impression that the A’mara’ Bengali samaj is the only samaj on the planet, or that Baba only gives importance to this samaj. But this is not the case at all. At present, there are 241 samajas around the globe and Baba in His own unique way gives equal importance to them all.

But after 1990, led by the heavy hand of Sarvatmananda, one group blatantly stuffed the pages of our Prout books exclusively with discourses on Bengal while discarding other samajas entirely. Indeed in Prout in a Nutshell parts 19 & 20, there are 17 discourses in total. And of those 17 discourses, 15 of those discourses address a particular samaj. And of those 15 samaj discourses, 13 of those those discourses are exclusively about Bengal. That means 87% of the samaj discourses in those two books are about A’mara’ Bengali samaj. And interestingly enough, both Prout Nutshell 19 & 20 were printed just after 1990 when Sarvatmananda had full power.

So it is clear that with a partial hand someone’s intention was only to highlight the Bangalistan area at the cost of other places. This is the wrong someone did to Baba’s Prout Nutshell series, parts 19 & 20.


To make things look “natural”, those at the helm those days included one samaj discourse on Bihar and one on Ireland. After all it would look too obvious if 15 out of 15 samaj discourses in those books were on Bengal. So they did included two other samaj discourses to make things look legitimate. Plus, Prout Nutshell part 21 contains no samaj discourses. And indeed this is the common tendency. When you want to distort something, then hide the fake or foul things in the middle, not at the end. Sarvatmananda understood this theory well. With the few Prout books first published after 1990, he followed this theorem exactly.

But we are not befooled by his “decoy”.

Because we know that Baba delivered hundreds of discourses on so many samajas. Baba always expressed maximum interest in every samaj. But this fact Sarvatmananda did not wish to recognise. So he personally gave the order to fill PNS-19 and PNS-20 with discourses on Bengal. And all other samaj discourses were left out of those Prout publications.

In fact, one other decoy maneuver he did was print Baba’s numerous discourses about other samajas of India in the name of Raghunathji. This was another trick used by Sarvatmananda to give less priority to other samajas and highlight on Bengal. After all if you make it look like Baba the Sadguru only spoke about Bengal – and ignored all other samajas – then Bengal stands in the spotlight all by itself.

Note: A reference to the “Raghunath Book” – which is really Baba’s book – is listed in a note at the bottom of this letter.

Here the whole idea is that one group leader wanted to make it look like Baba gave utmost importance to Bengal, as if Bengal is the topmost and all others are second rate.


Yet we all know, the spirit of Baba’s teachings and Baba’s practical approach is completely universal in all respects.

Whatever samajas Baba visited and even those places He did not physically attend to, always Baba recognised the value of and encouraged the development of all samajas. Toward this end He regularly gave dictations about the plans and programs to execute in the various samajas of the world. And Proutists from all over the globe personally noted down and received these guidelines directly from Baba Himself. Indeed Baba gave tremendous import to all samajas.

Those aware know that Baba’s Proutistic teachings are related with so many aspects of the development of the numerous samajas of this earth. He addressed topics such as agriculture, industry, irrigation, trade, culture, history, dance, archeology, music and so much more. Baba spoke in great detail about a wide and diverse collection of samajas. He personally designated large amounts of time for this.

Tragically, one group made sure that Baba’s important guidelines about other samajas did not get place in the Prout Nutshell series. They made sure that only the Bengali samaj was given the spotlight in the Prout books.

Because as well all know, the first edition of Prout Nutshell parts 19 and 20 were printed after 1990. Thus those group leaders at the helm selectively chose – according to their own agenda – which discourses to place in those Prout books. It was a case of clear-cut manipulation. The proof being that there are 241 samajas on this earth. Baba gave equal importance to all. Yet 87% (13 of 15) of the samaj discourses in PNS 19 & 20 deal with only 1 single samaj: A’mara’ Bengali.

This was done in such a way that in the future if anyone reads Prout, then they will conclude that Baba only cared about Bengal.


Some may raise the point that if this is so important why did no one oppose this wrong earlier. Here we have to remember that immediately after 1990, Sarvatmananda’s reign was in full storm. He was raging battles in all kinds of directions and ruling with an iron fist. It was the reign of terror. Anyone who opposed any wrongdoing was humiliated, exiled, victimised, and ultimately eliminated. Plus there were so many injustices being carried out, that people were just trying to survive. As bad as things are now, those days it was 1000 times worse. There was one totalitarian leader ruling the Marga and he had his Wt gangs to support him. In that case no field worker or margii dared oppose any wrongdoing.


In this harsh atmosphere, along with B group’s deep seated desire to impose their Bengali Raj, they made sure that only Baba’s teachings related with Bengali areas got the upper hand. Only their own samaj discourses were highlighted in the Prout Nutshell books. And Baba’s talks about other samajas did not get the place– they were neglected and rejected outright.


Because if you look at the Prout 19 and 20 then you will find 13 separate discourses / chapters which are exclusively related with the Bengali samaj. While Baba’s divine discourses about the samajas of South India, North India, and Western India – not to mention all the other parts of the globe – were essentially discarded from these Prout books.

But Baba has given similar guidelines to all those samaj leaders from other parts of the globe. Indeed Baba used to call them from far just to give special guidance about their samaj. Yet due to B group’s interference, only the Bengali samaj plans, programs, and guidelines given by Baba have been published in Prout 19 and 20.

Why were Mara’thi samaj, Tamil samajam, Kannada samajam, Chhattisgarhii samaj, Dogari samaj, Nagpuria samaj, Maharlika samaj, Mauri samaj, and all those several dozens of samajas discarded from the Prout books? I think now the answer is becoming clear. Why were 87% (13 of 15) of the samaj discourses in Prout Nutshell 19 & 20 only about Bengal? I think now the answer is becoming clear.

Everyone knows that Baba’s guidelines for these aforesaid samajas were given, but they were never allowed to have a place in the Prout books. Only Bangalistan got the place.

The reason being that those days in 1991-92, B group was controlling everything and they wanted to create an inferiority complex in the minds of margii members of other samajas. By this way they could keep ruling and put their samaj on top. So they deftly created the false impression that Baba has given special preference to Bengalistan by only including the Bangal samaj discourses in the Prout series. Sarvatmananda thought by this way he could best continue his group supremacy.

But the fact is that Baba guided equally to all the samajas.

Clearly then this is one type of deliberate distortion to Baba’s Prout teachings. It is nothing but a black stain that only discourses related with the area and planning of Bengal were placed in Prout 19 & 20.

Till today B group does not have an iota of repentance for what they have done. They distorted the Bhukti Pradhan manual, wiped out margii rights, ruined the ACB system, invented expulsion as a weapon, gave birth to Fake Ananda Vaniis, implemented mahaprayan dogma, created religious tiirthas (holy land dogma) and so much more.

And they have imposed their dogmatic vision of Bangalisation unto Baba’s Prout books. But even then that is not the totality of their ill deeds.


Here is another pertinent example how B group has altered Baba’s books and manipulated His discourses on samaj.

A case in point: In the Proutist Economics book a total of 104 pages got dedicated for the Bengali samaj, and only 18 pages were allotted for all the five (5) samajas of Bihar. And Baba’s talks on innumerable other samajas were discarded entirely. By this manipulation, so many of Baba’s teachings related with the development of samaj did not get place in Prout.

Thus the distortion done to Proutist Economics is a carbon copy of the distortion done to Prout in a Nutshell parts 19 & 20.

Here the point is that wherever they got the chance to distort Baba’s Prout teachings in the favor of their Bangalisation dogma, they seized the opportunity. In particular, those Prout books first printed after 1990 were wickedly distorted.


All this gives proof that since long B group has been strategizing and executing their plans of group dominance wherever and whenever they got the opportunity. Theirs is a long term plan not only to rule the Marga but to permanently scar and litter Baba’s divine teachings with their various dogmas like Bangalisation and related distortions.

Indeed their plan was so deep-rooted that even after their fall from power, many of their distortions and dogmas still stand: Destruction of BP Manual, Bangalisation of Baba’s Discourses, Fake Ananda Vaniis, Expulsion as a weapon, Mahaprayan dogma etc. The list is quite long.

In contrast, the other groups just wanted power – and that washes away relatively easily. When those group leaders reform themselves or pass on, then their lust for power is gone from this earth.

But from day 1 this has not been the case with those Bengali leaders. From the outset they had a deep-seated plan to permanently infuse all kinds of dogmas into AM society and Baba’s books. They actually wanted to change Baba’s teachings – permanently. As bad as the other groups are – no other group did like this.

Indeed it was only B group that brought this whole other agenda to the table. Only they planned on permanently deleting, manipulating, and distorting Baba’s divine AM ideology. What dogmas they implemented in a few short years of their reign may take generations to remove. This is a big, big problem. No other faction did like this. Only B group led by Sarvatmananda imposed such dogmas and distortions.

Still today we are dealing with the mess they created – and tomorrow we will be as well. Because with a few short brush strokes Sarvatmananda and Co permanently changed so many of Baba’s divine teachings:

1. Fake Ananda Vaniis, 2. Fake BP Manual, 3. Dogma of Mahaprayan insertion into appendix of Caryacarya, 4. “Translated from Original Bengali” into countless books, 5. Expulsion as a weapon, 6. Ruination of Prabhat Samgiita via filmy cassettes, 7. Tiljala as a Tiirtha site, 8. Destruction of the ACB system, 9. Wrong system of translation, 10, Bangalisation, 11. Elimination of Margii rights and so many more systematic and permanent wrongs.

This is the great gift that B group has bestowed on our AM society: The gift of dogma and ruination of Baba’s teachings.


Baba is the Supreme Neo-Humanist who guides and loves all samajas. It is unthinkable to believe that Baba only likes one samaj. But that is what B group wants the world to believe.

So the main idea we must convey is that all Baba’s Prout books should reflect His universal love for all peoples in all places and all samajas. To promote the dogma that He was partial to Bengal is to undermine Guru’s standing.

Together, with a rational mind, we must decide how Baba’s Prout books should be reformulated. It cannot be that PNS 19 & 20 contain 13 discourses on Bengal. Nor do I suggest that all the A’mara’ Bengali discourses be removed and replaced by discourses on other samajas.

As His disciples we must find the right balance and method for printing Baba’s Prout discourses to ensure that they reflect the spirit and totality of His universal teachings for humanity. And all those devoted margiis who took notes from Baba’s various samaj meetings must come forward with those writings. Already many samaj leaders are involved in this great work and more should participate. This is the way to safeguard Baba’s teachings and demonstrate that He has given discourses and guidelines on all the samajas.


At the cost of the sanctity of Baba’s treatises on Prout and the welfare of our Marga the crimes committed by B group must not be allowed to continue. The day has come for all margiis to come forward waving the banner of neo-humanism, doing away with narrow-minded, groupist traditions.

Baba says, “You must awaken those who do not realise the facts, and make them aware. Let the ideals of neo-humanism reach their ears, and be implanted in the core of their hearts. With their liberated intellects they will throw all their illusions into the dustbin.” (NH-LOI)

Anyone looking at these books will think that Baba only cared about Bengal or that Baba was just one limited social theorist. That is the main problem with what B group has done.

The reality of course is that Baba is Parama Purusa incarnate. He cares for and loves all equally. He has equal regard for every samaj. This spirit must be reflected in Baba’s Prout books. To highlight only one samaj is a grave injustice against Guru; it is a crime and a sin.

As His disciples we must ensure that Baba’s books fully reflect His teachings. So we have to sit collectively and think how our books on Prout should be formulated. Not all the Bengal discourses need be removed, nor do all the hundreds of other discourses about various other samajas be placed in the Prout Nutshell series. But whatever we choose to do, it must reflect Baba’s universal care for the entire humanity.

And side by side, naturally all of Baba’s samaj discourses and notes will have to be printed in some form. But the way things are right now is not at all good.



This letter details how they printed Baba’s discourses and talks in Raghunathji’s name because those discourses were about other samajas, not A’mara’ Bengali. To minimize the importance of those talks and the respective samajas, they put them in the name of a disciple. And when Baba spoke about Bengal then it was printed for all to see in Baba’s name.


Allopathic Medicines Not Good

Baba says, “When people take allopathic medicine to cure a disease, the medicine disturbs the ecological balance of the body because more negative microvita get concentrated at the point of the disease. Allopathic medicines do not kill diseases — diseases die by their own natural death. Although the medicine may check the disease, the increased concentration of negative microvita can overcome the effect of the medicine. In fact, the increased concentration of negative microvita caused by allopathic medicines creates many new types of diseases, and due to this, two or three new diseases are presently being created every decade. So what is the solution to this problem? Our approach should be two fold — external and internal. Externally we should take medicines to check diseases, but internally we should perform spiritual practice.” (MVNS, p.136)

Subject: News: Modern Sikhandi & Chaos in Group Fight

In the short span of time since the “Tiljala unity council” (Mar 25 – 27), disarray has mounted in this newly constructed tent faction. All know that this “tent” was made by piecing together various factions.

Just as a tent can be sewn together using different colour pieces, likewise the new tent faction has been formed by gluing together different groups. Those groups maintain their own prior identity – they do not lose or forgo their individual existence like B and EC etc.

Here are some key points that all should know:

1. Giita Didi’s group has not joined this tent. They have been fence-sitters from the very beginning because they felt they could not trust this tent coalition.

2. The NY faction joined only superficially. They have no real commitment towards the Tiljala unity tent. The NY SS has no desire to surrender to B group, but he did accept the post of SS NY. But he has kept NY legally separate from India / Tiljala etc. He has not even the faintest desire to change and come under their leadership. NY is separate and remains as such.

3. The EC / Third Front faction of India is split:

(a) Parmeshvarananda has joined the Tiljala group but in return he only got scraps from underneath the dinner table to chew on, i.e. the post of HPMG. That is why even his supporters are dissatisfied that their boss did not get the respect they anticipated and hoped for.

(b) Vandanananda, Karunanada, & Vishodgatananda (& many others), on the other hand, have no intention of joining. Rather they are quite furious and do not like the Tiljala unity tent at all. So they did not join.

(c) The scene amongst most of the third front workers is that of dissent. They feel that the in-charges are treating them like step-children – i.e. unwanted and uncared for. Why? Because all key posts and top chairs were grabbed up by B group.

4. Many family margiis reached there with the high hope that they would get included in various committees and boards. They thought they would get due representation, but they were not included so they are very disappointed & frustrated. Their only utility in the eyes of Tiljala was as a “head count”, i.e. building up the numbers.


Now here is one thing that is very surprising, if not shocking. Many voices are now accusing Kinshukji of not even being a margii because for years and years no one saw him attending DC or DMS / seminar. Yet both of these programs are basic margii duties. For this reason they claim that he is not even a margii. Thus, because they claim he is not a basic margii, they feel it is unjust for him to have the top post.


Indeed, just by the mere distribution of posts – with B group getting the large majority of posts (i.e. 32 out of 46 Central posts including mostly all the top posts), then anyone can understand that Kinshuk is not really in-charge. And if he is in-charge then he is not just. That is why the former is correct, i.e. that he is not really in-charge someone else is pulling the strings from behind. You can gusess who.

So these are some of the the bulleted points to consider. The tent faction was born just a few weeks ago amidst the big hoopla of unity, and now it is shrouded in disarray.



Today, people are telling that Kinshuk is like Sikhandhi (ie the impotent “warrior” from the Mahabharata era).

As we all know, back in the day, Sikhandi was used so Bheeshma would not kill and attack the soldiers. Bheeshma was a man of principle and he would not fight a eunuch. Hence the Pandavas placed Sikhandi in the front in order to ward off any attack by Bheeshma.

Similarly, B group has put Kinshuk as their top man in order to deflect any possible attacks. Just as the Pandavas knew that Bheesma would not attack them if Sikhandi was at the front, B group knows that if they put Kinshuk at the front then they will not be attacked. They can sit behind and do what they wish.

Here it should be perfectly clear that the analogy is only about Kinshuk as Sikhandi. No one should foolishly try to equate B group as being the Pandavas – that would be utterly ridiculous.

Only the point is that just as Sikhandi was used by the Pandavas to protect the army, likewise, Kinshukji is being used by B group to protect their tent faction.

My only concern is that while in the past Sikhandi was not attacked, it worries me to think that Kinshukji, a.k.a modern day Sikhandi, may be attacked. Indeed he is already getting attacked as people are accusing him of not being a margii. That is my chief concern. Beyond that the analogy fits like a glove.

Nowadays, people have begun accusing Sikhandi (i.e. Kinshukji) of putting his signature on all the postings, but in truth that was not Sikhandi’s order. Sikhandi does not know all those Dadas etc. That was not his idea.

So Sikhandi is harmless in all of this. His post was used and he was but a rubber stamp for the B group agenda. So while Sikhandi may have signed those posting orders or given his approval, certainly that order was crafted by someone else. Sikhandi could never have done such a thing. Rather Sikhandi’s duty is simply to protect those hiding behind him, just like the Sikhandi of old was used to protect Arjuna and the Pandava army.

But again here the analogy begins and ends with Kinshuk as Sikhandi. No one should wrongly think that B group is the Pandavas. That would be totally silly.

Here Sikhandi does not mean that anyone is physically impotent. That is not the sense. Sikhandi is merely a shield for the protection of others.

Even then we all have to think & wonder how far it will be successful. Many are doubtful as already people have started abusing Sikhandi.

In spite of this, those who masterminded this present day episode of Sikhandi have an incredible brain. They must be given due credit.

Baba, by Your grace we are so close. We are tied up in a bond of love.

Baba, You are the ray of hope & happiness in my life. Baba, I am like the

dark evening of the rainy season– my life is full of problems and

difficulties; and You are like the soft night-queen flower (rajaniigandha’

[1])– You are the Personification of all that is sweet. Baba, by Your

fragrant touch, my whole life becomes fragrant. Baba, by Your grace my life

is saturated with Your heavenly aroma– my existence is saturated with Your


Baba, I am jiiva and You are Shiva. I am wrought with imperfections and

defects and You are blemishless and pure. Baba, I am like the winter sky

that is enveloped by the fog. My life is filled with problems. Baba, You

are like the crimson effulgence of the morning’s new dawn. With the

brilliance of Your presence all my problems disappear. Baba, You bring

charm and bliss into my life. You make everything beautiful. Baba, without

You my life is meaningless– unbearable. Baba, by dyeing my mind in Your

color, my whole existence rushes towards Your divine land– towards You.

Baba, because of Your grace-compassion, I am marching only towards You.

Baba, You have done everything for me…


[1] Rajaniigandha’: (Night Queen Flower) This is one of the most fragrant

and aromatic flowers; it emanates a delicious, sweet smell all around for

miles and miles. The wonderful scent of the rajaniigandha’ makes any

environment charming. For this reason in the above song the sadhaka is

saying that Parama Purusa is like the rajaniigandha– because He emanates

unending sweetness all around. In contrast, the sadhaka compares himself to

the suffocating, humid evening in the rainy season. Because that humid

evening has so many negative characteristics such as heavy air and the

onslaught of buzzing mosquitoes and pestering insects. Thus the torturous

humid evening represents the sadhaka’s problem-filled life. But when the

sweet aroma rajaniigandha’ comes in contact with the sticky, humid evening,

then everything becomes sweet and charming. Then that humid evening gets

transformed into something wonderful. Similarly even though a sadhaka’s

life might be filled with countless problems and obstacles, but with the

divine arrival of Parama Purusa, everything becomes charming and blissful.

All of one’s problems immediately disappear– vanish, because of His sweet

presence. That is why in the above song the sadhaka compares Baba with the

rajaniigandha’ flower.


Not Easy To Bring Into Practice

Baba says, “While helping the poor people your vanity may increase. You

may think: ‘I have done this, I have done that. I am not an ordinary man.’

This is a psychic disease. Actually, vanity is a psychic disease, a psychic

ailment. But if, while helping a man, a poor man, or a diseased person, you

ascribe Godhood to him, that is, if you think, ‘I am not helping a man, I am

helping God in human structure,’ then vanity will not be encouraged. What

will be the reaction within the person? ‘This body, this mind, this wealth

has been given to me by Parama Purus’a, and Parama Purus’a has come before

me, God has come before me, as a suffering person, and I am paying back

that thing to Him. That is, the actual owner of this body, the actual

owner of this mind is He, and His wealth I am paying back to Him.’ So

there will be no vanity.” (DKG, p.197-98)

Note: Despite that fact that we are all aware about Baba’s above

teaching, nonetheless it is the common human weakness that we forget

about this point. Yet we all know His above guideline has great and

eternal benefits. For that reason we need to be reminded about this

divine guideline again and again. Adherence to this principle helps

establish one in the stance of divinity & immortality.

Many Dadas openly declare, ‘I do not belong to any group’. This is not

an uncommon proclamation these days. And indeed, in most cases, such a

declaration is to be appreciated; since, as we all know, groupism is

negative to the very bone. Groupism has no redeeming quality or value–

none at all.


Thus when any Dada says, ‘I do not belong to any group’, then that is

essentially commendable. Their stand is a positive stand.


At the same time we should be aware of two common pitfalls that occur

with some of these Dadas. A few fall into the chasm of Rajput’s Folly

while some others get stuck in creating fake unity. So we should all be

able to easily recognise these two detrimental syndromes.





Some, though certainly not all, of those Dadas who declare, ‘I do not

belong to any group’, often find themselves in the unfortunate position

of Rajput’s Folly.


This happens because those simple Dadas valiantly state their position

without realising or understanding the power of those groupist forces.

Hence, in their nativity, those Dadas boldly state, ‘I am not part of

any group, I am against all factional parties, etc etc’, but such Dadas

are not aware about their own inherent vulnerability, and in the end

they succumb to those very groupist forces and factional pressures.


Hence, what Baba describes here as Rajput’s folly is the same type of

syndrome that affects some of our Dadas.


Baba says, “Weak people must assess their strength before indulging in

violent conflict with a powerful aggressor; otherwise, if a fight is

started without acquiring proper strength injustice may temporarily

triumph. In history such an error has been called “Rajput folly”. The

Rajputs always went forward with courage to resist Mughal invasion. No

doubt, they fought valiantly, but they faced the enemy without assessing

their own strength. They suffered from intrigues and internal

dissensions and hence they always lost battles and died a heroic death.

It is, therefore necessary to acquire adequate strength before declaring

a war against an aggressor.” (GHC)


Regarding AM and groupism, those Dadas who are not mentally strong or

who do not have sufficient allies should not openly wage a war against

groupism by publicly declaring, ‘I do not belong to any group’. Better

they should temporarily keep quiet and maintain a basic truce with those

groupist elements until they themselves have garnered adequate strength

to maintain their dharmic position.


Failing that, some Dadas– no need to mention names here– have bravely,

yet naively’ declared their position against groupism, only later to

find themselves cornered, and unwittingly or not, they end up becoming

the agents of one or another faction.


Tragically we have all seen such things occur to some Dadas who

previously stated, ‘I do not belong to any group’.





Then there is another ailment that affects a few of our Dadas who state,

‘I do not belong to any group’. They fall into the dogma of fake unity.


As we all know unity can only be created through following AM ideology.

That is the only way.


Baba says, “Human unity is purely an ideological unity.” (PNS-15)


But what some Dadas do is try to create unity by bringing together

various groupist elements. They think by tying H, B, EC, NIA etc into

one flower garland, then a wonderful unity will result. But that is

total nonsense. Because ideological unity can never result by blending

various dogmas together.


And here, in this below question and answer sequence, Baba describes

this point very clearly.


Baba says, “How far is the unification of all religions possible?”

“Ans.: – To seek infinite bliss is the only dharma of humanity. Humanity

has but one dharma. Thus, the question of the unification of religions

does not arise. The apparent dissimilarity between various religions

arising due to differences in their ritualistic practices is not a

spiritual difference. Whenever rituals dominate and efforts to attain

bliss are feeble, whatever that may be, it is not spirituality.” (TK-1,

‘Q & A #49’)


Thus, no matter how hard one tries to create unity by gluing together

various groupist factions, they can never be successful. Because just as

it is impossible to create dharma by merging the various dogmatic

religions, similarly it is impossible to create unity by sticking all

the groupist forces in one hall. That is one doomed proposition.


Unfortunately, on the email, a few Dadas write, ‘I do not belong to any

group’, and then side by side they begin describing how they are

creating unity in their area by bringing all the groupist parties

together under one roof. But this is not at all unity. In that case,

only those groups are vying for supremacy and scouting out the

opposition. Whereas unity can only result when all those party members

renounce groupism entirely. And that they are not going.


So the plan of bringing B, EC, H, and other factions together and

stating that unity has been achieved is just one fake show of unity–

nothing more. That is exactly what Baba has stated in the above teaching

when He says that the unity of the dogmatic religions is not at all






Mahatma Gandhi once declared, ‘I do not belong to any religion, I honor

all religions’, and in that way he created temples where all the

dogmatic religions could pray. But the result was not at all unity.

Rather more and more animosity was created as Muslim and Hindu tensions

escalated, as they were both encouraged to follow their dogmatic ways.

And in the end, Gandhi himself was gunned down by a radical Hindu. Thus

his faulty dream of unity just shattered and drowned in the spilling of

his own blood.


Similarly, those who declare, ‘I do not belong to any group, I honor all

the groups’, then their way is going to create trouble as they are

validating the existence of those very groups. If one invites various

groupist leaders to a conference or table talk– without first ensuring

that those elements have truly renounced groupism– they that conference

or that table talk will just validate the existence of those very

groups. In a phrase one is saying, ‘It is ok for you to be groupist’.

When in fact groupism is a disease and should never be tolerated or

honored, neither implicitly nor explicitly.


One other way of thinking about it is if one says, ‘I am a vegetarian,

but I honor and respect all meat-eaters and they are allowed to come and

cook in my kitchen’. In that case, who can think that that person is

keeping a vegetarian kitchen.


Likewise, those Dadas who say, ‘I am not groupist’, yet invite

recognised groupist elements into their meetings or living rooms, then

who can think that that person is really a proponent of unity. When

unity itself does not allow the existence of any group.





So these above are some of the recognised flaws and pitfalls of those

who declare, ‘I do not belong to any group’. Of course this is not the

case with all Dadas, but some. And we should all be aware so that we

also do not fall prey to any faulty plan that actually gives more power

to groupist elements.





We all want true unity in our Marga, and by His grace it is going to

happen soon. The more we strictly adhere to His ideological tenets, the

more we do not feed the fire of groupism, then the faster our march to

unity will reach its sacred home. Victory, victory to Ananda Marga.


Baba says, “To live in peace and harmony, there must be a supreme

ideology accepted by all, because whenever there are ideological

differences, physical conflicts between individuals and groups are bound

to occur, and peaceful social life becomes impossible.” (NSS, Disc: 2)









So we must be careful. Because in the name of unity, various factional

leaders may try so many ploys, or stunts, and in one way or another this

or that margii might get roped in– some might fall prey to those

groupist schemes of fake unity. That is why Baba says we must be wary of

such an unwanted scenario.


Baba says, “They will try to unite the people forcibly through the

pressure of governmental [or groupist] machinery….by the steamroller

of governmental [groupist] machinery, but such unity is not at all

desirable.” (TTP)


Thus one must never succumb or give way to groupist pressure thinking

that by this way unity will be found.





“A’jake sa’njhe madhur sa’jhe ke else go, ke ele…” (P.S. 5006)




In this sweet and intoxicated evening, Who has come, Who has come? Who

is that Entity Who has created this new wave in everyone’s life and in

everyone’s heart. Those who are sitting with their doors and windows

closed, please come out and forget about the differences of own and

other. That divine Entity Who is always sitting in the mind, He has come

in front of us. We should enjoy His august arrival all together…




Food Problems and Their Solution


Baba says, “In the event of shortages in the food and accommodation of

the population of the world, people will convert uncultivated land into

new arable land, increase the productivity of the soil by scientific

methods, produce food by chemical processes with earth, water and air,

and if this earth decreases in its productivity, then land seeking human

beings will migrate to different planets and satellites and settle

there.” (PNS-13, p.45)

Baba, please come in my mind with form and color. Please come in each

and every iota of my mind. My whole life has passed in searching You from

country to another country. When I was looking to find You in far distant

places, then I did not get You anywhere. And when I searched You in the

external world nearby me, then also I did not get You. In fact, I did not

get You in any holy land or in the cave of the mountains. In search of You

in lonely places I cried in longing.

Baba, by Your grace when I look into my mind then I see that You are

there smiling on my mental lotus. You are in my mental pollen, in its

fragrance, and in its nectar. Sitting there You are smiling. Baba I did not

get You anywhere externally because You are always in my mind. When I try

to look within then by Your grace I feel that You are with me…








We all want unity within our Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. The main question is which avenue will take us there. The events at the recent DMS and the NY winter retreat shed further light on this matter.


You may have heard that at the recent Ananda Marga New Year’s DMS in Ananda Nagar one group sat in protest. To some it may look like this group is quite noble: Engaging in a peaceful, silent protest outside the main gate of the DMS pandal with placards, banners, and pamphlets preaching unity.


But to really understand the situation, we have to see the big picture. We cannot just stare at one small piece of the puzzle.


Specifically, when EC was staging a peaceful protest for unity and declaring along with B group that Kinshuk Dada should be the next PP, then we have to see what other activities EC was involved in to evaluate how far they are sincere in their approach.


And indeed if we evaluate EC’s situation in NY sector, we get a grander view of the scene.


That same EC faction which was staging a protest at DMS in Ananda Nagar is the same EC group that controlled the winter retreat at Ananda Kanan (USA). At that gathering they deliberately barred other groups and their members – i.e. the Ranchi group NY SS et Co – from entering into NY sector sectorial retreat. EC veritably blocked that Dada from entering the retreat grounds. When that Dada arrived on site they forcefully told him that he was not welcome. This happened the same exact week that EC was staging their own protest for being disallowed to enter into the DMS pandal in Ananda Nagar.


Plus one other interesting thing to be aware of.


In NY this same EC group is fighting tooth and nail in a huge, unprecedented court case for control of the sector. And they are trying desperately to gather as much funds from margiis as they can in order to pay their attorneys and related legal fees. All done to snatch the power from the other group. These are the plain facts. All the groups are unceremoniously indulged in the fight for power – not true unity.





Groupism means harboring a narrow agenda for one’s own personal material gain, i.e. for their particular region, caste, community etc. This type of special self-interest is the defining point of being a group. Groupism has nothing to do with how big or small it is in number, i.e. size of their membership; it is only related with harboring a narrow mentality or group feeling. There may be 1 million people in a group, 100 people or 1 person. That is all meaningless. What makes a group a group is their narrow-minded interests.


In contrast, if a fight is going on for the cause of universal welfare, i.e. for everyone’s physical, psychic and spiritual development and one is battling against all sorts of exploitation, then irrespective of the number of people involved, it is not a group.


As long as Baba was controlling AMPS it was not a group. Certain non-margiis were labeling AMPS as a group but it was not a group. Those days AM was for universal emancipation, not any narrow agenda.


Today however the various factions are busy trying to grab the power and injecting dogmas like the supremacy of their language, land, community, or tiirtha. Or they just squabble over who can get more purodhaships in their camp etc. None of these “causes” are ideological. That is why the current group struggle is nothing but a factional feud.


All the groups in today’s Marga rally around their chosen dogmas and all the groups want to exploit margiis. That is why they never raise the slogan of margii rights or common issues (see note 1). When not in power they cry out about their own pathetic situation in front of margiis and exploit their sentiment; but when in power the situation is different. Then those groups rule with an iron fist.


Sane people understand this quite well.


If anyone is emotionally attached to certain friendships or a particular language or any other narrow cause, then they should not befool themselves into thinking that they are fighting for Ananda Marga ideology.


All in all, the entire present day group fight has nothing to do with AM ideology – rather it runs counter to our ideological standards.


If on this point you have any doubt please write me.





Here the point is that unity can never be based in groupist hypocrisy – nor the hypocrisy of H, B, or EC groups. All such factions have their self-interest in mind and when we see the big picture their true colours can easily be understood. Those who are victims in one sector are the power mongers in another. Such persons can never bring unity.


The only solution is unity based on ideology – not any group agenda. For more about this see note 1.


Thus when one group is preaching unity on one side of the planet and and carrying out factional feuds on the other side of the globe, even the simplest of observers can understand what is going on.


To solve this matter we have to uncover all shades of hypocrisy and rally around Ananda Marga ideology, not any group camp. So-called unity based on groupist sentiment is fragile and can explode at any moment whereas as real unity based on ideology is the true foundation of our AM and human society.


Baba says, “Human unity is purely an ideological unity, which means unity in the psychic sphere. Where there is psychic unity, physical unity will also occur. In the realm of unity, unity is always psychic – ideological unity means unity in the subtlest level of the mind. However, psychic or ideological unity may be affected if we encourage the exploitation of one group by another. So to avoid this there should not be any scope for exploitation in society. And to ensure this we have to start a new order to safeguard the interests of the exploited masses. So for a proper social synthesis what we require is a common philosophy of life; that is, ideological unity.” (Prout Nutshell, Part 15)


Baba says, “Lack of unity among the members of society, because of too much self-interest in the individual members, formation of sects for economic or social advantages, or lack of understanding of others, not only brings the downfall of society, but also will wipe it completely from the face of the earth. Instances of so many sects and empires disappearing altogether are not rare in the history of this world.” (“Tattvika Praveshika”)








The present group fight in our Marga is not an ideological fight. Here ideological means Baba’s divine teachings, not any group agenda. This fight is all about their own selfish group interest. Here following the is the logic and reasoning in support of this fact.


Since 1990, so many injustices have been done related with ideology, yet none of these following points are ever raised by these group leaders – i.e. H, B, or EC. Rather they are the perpetrators.


1. Destruction of BP rights and imposition of the Fake BP Manual;

2. Expulsion used as a weapon since 1995 when all groups qqq were together were living and unitedly ruling qqq

3. Countless intentional scriptural distortions such as placing “Translated from the original Bengali” on the cover page of all AM books, even if those discourses were given in English or Hindi;

4. Elimination of the margii based ACB system: Advisory Committees & Boards;

5. Curtailment of margii rights;

6. Creation of dogmatic pilgrimages in Ananda Nagar, Kolkata, & Jamalpur, and many other places;

7. Issuing of Fake Ananda Vaniis;

8. Victimisation of countless innocent Ananda Margiis;

9. Bangalisation of AM teachings;

10. Ruination of Prabhat Samgiita by using filmy singers etc;

11. Not recognising Silent Action as a fundamental right;

12. Rejecting English and Hindi passages spoken by Baba and only translating the Bengali portions of Baba’s holy DMC discourses which were given by Baba in three languages;

13. Treating Baba as a mortal being by using the shraddha mantra for Sadguru Baba and the imposition of dogmatic Mahaprayan;

14. Construction of dogmatic memorials to limit Baba to a particular land or place;

15. And so many more ideological wrongs.


Note: Please do write us if you wish more information on any of the above points.


Yet, no group ever raises any of these universal points related with AM teachings / ideology. They only raise their own selfish claims based on their group agenda for post and power.


So all this infighting is nothing but a factional power fight. In that case why should margiis quarrel, give their resources and time, and do & die in such a fight when it is all about selfishness and grabbing the post – and nothing else.


Regarding the above listed ideological points related with margii rights and scripture etc, neither the factions of Tiirthananda & EC, nor B faction, nor H (i.e. Ranchi faction) support these purely ideological issues. Never do they ever raise these items – they only raise points of personal lust for post and power.


Then why should any sincere devotee sacrifice themselves for this cause of infighting and group agenda. There is no ideology on either side. That is Baba’s teaching.


Baba says, “Many of the ills of society develop because people do not care to know other members of society. This may not only mean ignorance of the condition and difficulties of others, but also leads to intolerance and a lack of interest in the affairs of the other members of society. Common social functions bring different members of society together and are therefore a great unifying force. By performing certain functions collectively, all the members are engaged in doing the same thing for some time, and this brings about a feeling of unity and interest in others.” (Social Psychology, 1957, Jamalpur)











Baba says, “The Cosmic Operative Principle, whereby the Citishakti [Supreme

Cognitive Faculty] goes on transforming itself into Cosmic Ectoplasms and

those Cosmic Ectoplasms into the bhacakra [spatio-eternal system] without

undermining its own status, must necessarily imbibe the witness-ship of the

Sambharaka.” (HS, Edn ’99, p.148)


Note 1: To do proper translations of Baba’s original discourses the

translator must be aware of Baba’s own Grammar book series as well as His

small encyclopedia: Laghu Nirukta. Without these two necessary works, the

translation will be incomplete. And it may lack unclarity and create

confusion. The above example has happend like that.



Note 2: The term ‘bhacakra’ is not available in any published dictionary in

the general society. That is why the translator / editor could not properly

clarify this term. Instead he speculated about its meaning from his own

mind. The real meaning of the term bhacarka is given in Laghu Nirukta. That

is as follows:


“1. The sky and space which can be seen from one side of the earth

represents only half or a partial amount. To see the other half one has to

go to the other side of the earth. And when the entire thing is treated as

one, then that is bhacakra. Bhacakra is complete.”

“2. The next definition means the known and unknown created worlds– that

combined is bhacakra.”

Subject: Infighting In NY Sector: Margiis Are Not Fools



Here is an update, review, and course of action regarding the fight for power in NY sector. Those in other sectors should also read the below and avert such disasters in their areas.


There are two main groups battling for control of NY Sector: Ranchi represented by Vimalananda and EC led by Tiirthananda. B group has only a minor role at the moment in NY.

In a day to day manner, Tiirthananda & crew control most of the resources of NY sector; this of course is not pleasing to the Ranchi team.

Some months ago, Ranchi began taking legal action purporting themselves as the real controllers of the sector. They told they have reconstituted the current board of NY sector and laid claim to all assets and resources.

Tiirthananda’s group took this as a direct affront and started a counter case against Vimalananda & Co.

Some say that at present there are as many as three lawsuits / court cases between these two warring parties and the first one comes to trial in the first half of 2011.

As we all know, court cases are extremely costly, especially in the USA. So naturally these group leaders are appealing to “you know who” (i.e. the general margiis and workers) for financial support.


Given the aforementioned situation, all sincere margiis & wts have to think and evaluate what to do. Here are some points for consideration:

1. This fight between EC and Ranchi has nothing to do with saving Baba’s divine ideology, nor is this a form of social service.

2. This fight has been created by a few power hungry Dadas – period. Many workers have nothing to do with this power clash. Only a few mongers started this infighting.

3. It is similar to how a few greedy US capitalists wanted oil from Iraq so they attacked the country and needlessly killed large numbers of innocent Iraqi citizens. In addition, many US solders lost their lives while countless more returned home maimed. This entire offensive was launched under the slogan of patriotism. Yet, in truth it was all about money, resources, and power.

4. Margiis are not fools. Fighting this petty court case has nothing to do with bhagavad dharma. So helping either party economically and undergoing financial hardship is a dogmatic idea and the height of stupidity. With each groupist regime appealing for money, it is is just like two gangs taxing the neighborhood in order to pay for their own partying and drinking.

5. In this situation of total infighting, new margiis will leave the Marga and old ones will keep distance. It is all very unfortunate.

6. Nowhere in any of His discourses does Baba encourage infighting by giving money for a  divisive court case.

7. Remember this fight is not ideological: It is not about saving Baba’s scripture, nor is it about margii rights, nor any other genuine cause. This fighting is all about the lust of power.

8. Baba has warned not to let such tragedies take place in our Marga. For this reason He has given the teaching about the Yadava dynasty where they fought and massacred one another at Prabhash tiirtha.

Baba says, “During the time of the Mahabharata the same thing happened in the Jadu [Yadava] dynasty. …[They] started taking increasing amounts of alcohol. The resulting drunkenness caused people to quarrel amongst themselves. Eventually they killed each other at Prabhash Tiirtha and the Jadu dynasty was destroyed.” (Disc MHB)

In the past, the Yadava / Jadu dynasty was drunk on liquor. Today these group clans are intoxicated by power. They are rushing to the courts and indulged in infighting in their quest for more power and control.

We should not fuel the fire of this infighting by adding oil – i.e. giving money for their court case. Those donating for this “cause” will have to face the consequences. So be aware: Giving donations means fueling infighting.

9. Best is to individually give 2% for those in real need in your area: the poor, the hungry, the sick, the suffering. Parama Purusa resides in all, in various shapes and forms. We should serve His creation and never give money for infighting.

10. We must remember that this power struggle was not created by general margiis and this court case drama has nothing to do with philanthropy. So why should margiis pay for it.

11. Baba warns us again and again to keep ideological unity. That is why He has ordered that we chant samgacchadavam daily during collective meditation, or at minimum once in a week at dharmacakra. Why did he do so? Why did He not select another mantra? Because He was well aware that infighting was going to happen. So at least by not giving donations for this court case, you can restrict infighting – so don’t give any money, not even one penny.

12. This letter is not on the behalf of any group; this is for every margii.

13. By any angle of vision there is no veracity or reason to give a donation for infighting.

14. The entire situation is similar to two thugs who entered into your living room and started punching each other and destroying the furniture. To settle this fight one must not give in to their demands and offer them what they want. Rather get them out of the house entirely. That is the only way. Likewise – with regards to theses two belligerent parties involved in this court case – we should keep distance from them and use our money for a proper cause.

15. By no means should we support today’s group conflict and their divisive court case by giving donating money for their power struggle.

Note: This letter is part of an ongoing investigative series about the
selling of AM land. Be sure to read all parts of this report. Links to

Retaining our Ananda Marga land is a key aspect of our growth and
prosperity. Baba warns us that no organisation can survive if they sell
off all their assets. That is why in various Procedural Orders, Baba has
declared that AM land holdings must not be sold. That is His direct



These days some of the groups not in power are telling how if they were
in power then all the land holdings would be safe and secure. Their
mantra is: “We will not sell AM land.” However, by their actions it is
very clear that all such groups support the principle & strategy of land

Today third front / EC and Kolkata factions are just making noise and
speaking out how Ranchi is selling AM land. But this is just their ploy
to befool margiis. Such EC and Kolkata group members talk as if they are
the great protectors of AM land and that they will safeguard our
properties. But the fact is that they themselves are supporters of the
anti-organizational idea of selling organizational land. They did so in
the past and they will do so in future. When in power, i.e. when given
the opportunity, they will do the same.

So margiis should not think that any leader of any group will save the
property of our Marga. Every margii and wt should be conscious, alert,
come forward and make a concerted effort to save the property of our Marga.


As you may know, Ranchi administration recently sold our very old,
beautiful, and well-established Didi master unit, A’nanda Sambodhi, in
Asansole, West Bengal, India for 50 million rupees. There are a number
of reasons why they sold it. Many say that their great plan was to get
enough money to evict their rival party from Tiljala. And ultimately
they will sell Tiljala as well. That is the plan. Thereafter, the
mahasamadhi will be transferred to Ananda Nagar. That way the tiirtha
(i.e. mahasamadhi) will be transferred to Ranchi group territory –
either Ananda Nagar or Jamalpur.

Now Ranchi is also planning on selling more lands and jagrtis that are
presently under the control of other groups. As soon as they get buyers
they will sell, sell, sell. They will use such monies for their groupist
war chest.

So everyone should be alert. We should not let our AM property holdings
to become of the victim of the present group battle.


We must remember that Ranchi & Co. have already sold one very costly
land in Pune, Maharastra, India. This sale occurred 2 years ago. Yet
this land was purchased with donations from margiis with the sole
purpose of constructing a VSS office. But now that land is gone and
margiis’ dreams have been shattered.


It has already been decided by Central Committee of Ranchi
administration to sell more land which is under their control. In
addition they plan to sell most of our vacant Ananda Marga land that
does not have any constructed buildings.

Nigama’nanda and Rudra’nanda have already sent their agent to deal with
prospective buyers. Some of these land parcels are:

(a) Brother Joshiijii of Rajasthan donated 21 acres of land near Panch
Dam in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This land is now for sale.

Plus all these lands are on the selling blocks:

(b) 2 acres of land in Gaya, Bihar near police line shooting range.

(c) 2 Bighas of land in Sasung, Latehar Dit of Jharkhanda.

(d) More than 5 acres of Master Unit property and 5 Kattha’ of costly
land in town of Chandava block, Latehar dit of Jharkhanda.

(e) Training Center MU in Nasirpur Varanasi which is just 1/2 kilometre
from Ba’ba’ Quarter Varanasii. Rudra’nanda is personally interested to
sell this MU, but at present Nigamananda Dada is objecting. Nigamananda
has emotional attachment to this place. Unfortunately his attachment
does not expand to other lands as well. The reason being that when the
mind is low and small it is hard to fathom that all lands in AM should
be protected, not just one parcel that “I am personally attached with.”
Dadaji lacks the requisite dharmic feeling; that is why Nigamananda
cannot be trusted to protect other lands.

(f) Centre has not posted any worker to the the ja’grti in Sangroor of
Ludhiana diocese for a long time. All along the ulterior motive is to
sell that ja’grti and now they are actively trying for it.

(g) There is very costly land on Delhi Dehradoon national highway on
which Nigama’nanda has cast his greedy eyes.

(h) There is vacant land in Sivan and Gopalganj dit of Bihar, that is
also on the list of sale.

(i) Nigama’nanda’s and Rudra’nanda’s sword is hanging on many Didi
properties in south India.

This list is just a fraction of the land they want to sale.


So, we margiis should not believe in any groupist leaders. We should be
united without taking the shelter of any group. By Baba’s grace we are
to raise ideological issues, be alert and conscious, and fight against
the idea of selling land of the organisation. It is our sacred duty to
save our Marga’s property from the greedy eyes and bloody claws of
groupist leaders of all factions.

We must know that when our organisation sells land then we will never
get money to buy land. No one will donate to the cause of AM land.
Because people will think that any land donated today or bought today
will one day be sold by the organisation. So the inspiration to donate
or buy land will be burnt forever. That is the very real and scary
outcome. No one will trust us to oversee our landholdings in a proper
and responsible manner. That is the “after-shock” effect of selling AM land.

Indeed in this way development of our organisation will come to a halt.
That situation is that grave.So this selling of AM land is not a simple
issue, but has far-reaching consequences. This will create a dangerous &
recurring effect for our Marga.

We have to remember that it is wholly against Baba’s explicit guideline
to sell Ananda Marga property. We must pay heed to His call.

Let us also remember that Ba’ba’ always regarded our land as dharmasthan
and this is our dharmic duty to protect our Marga’s property.


By Baba’s grace He gives the order in “A Guide to Human Conduct” that if
someone tries to capture our land then they can be violently attacked.

Ks’etrada’ra’paha’rii ca shastradha’rii dhana’paha’h
Agnidagaradashcaeva s’adete hya’tata’yinah

Baba says, ““Anyone who, by the use of brute force, wants to take
possession of your property, ks’etra-land, abducts your wife, comes with
a weapon to murder you, wants to snatch away your wealth, sets fire to
your house or wants to take life by administering poison, is called an
a’tata’yii.” If any person or a nation wants to occupy all or part of
another country, the use of physical force against such invading forces
is not against the principle of ahim’sa’. Rather, by a wrong
interpretation of the term ahim’sa’ or by interpreting him’sa’ and brute
force as identical, common people will have to suffer from loss of
wealth, happiness, or other hardships.” (Guide to Human Conduct)

By their wicked ways and cheating tactics some are selling AM lands to
gain money to use at their own disposal. They are taking possession of
AM property and using it for their selfish ends. Per Baba’s above
teaching, we are to understand that those culprits involved in selling
our organizational property are also to be treated as enemies of the Marga.


Here below Baba tells how those who set a negative example that has a
recurring effect are terrible sinners. Read the following and reflect
how this also applies to those Dadas involved in selling AM lands.

Baba says, “To kidnap Sita was an act of maha’pa’taka. But he didn’t
kidnap Sita as a thief or as a robber. He went in disguise. He went in
the form of a sa’dhu. That is, he [Ravana] created a very bad precedent,
and henceforward no kulabadhu, no lady, will pay credence to what a
sannya’sii says. They may think: ‘He may be like Ravana; he may also be
a thief – like Ravana.’ So he has set a very, very bad example, and it
will have a recurring effect on each and every lady of society. So
Ravana is a maha’pa’takii, his action is of recurring effect.” (Ananda
Vacanamrtam, Part 31)

Just as Ravana’s misdeeds set a bad and lasting precedent for the
society, and is hence considered a deliberate sinner, similarly those
who sell AM lands fall in the same category. Their sin has a recurring

Firstly, it will give the idea to other groupists in need of funds that
selling AM land is a viable option. Secondly, good people will lose all
faith and trust that those at the helm of AM will be able to properly
watch over their land. Hence no one in future will donate land to the

Thus there are two recurring negative consequences. Hence, there is no
question that – per Baba’s above declaration – such lands sellers are
grave and terrible sinners, i.e. maha’pa’takiis.


By His grace He has blessed us with the opportunity to safeguard His
teachings and AM lands. Unitedly we can fix the problem, prevent future
land sales, and reverse the damage that has been done.

Baba says, “Who else is to come and shoulder the responsibility? It is
you – you are to do everything. You are the torch-bearers of human
civilization. You are the pioneers of human march, and you are the
vanguard of a new civilization.” (AV-14)

Since Pranavanandaji’s passing three months ago, a battle has been going
on here for control of the school, “Himalayan Institute of Integrated
Therapy”, in Kullu.

Ranchi, EC & B group have been trying to gain control of the school. And
each faction sent a few of their workers to Kullu just after
Pranavananda’s passing to take over the school.

Around that time, Dr Jitendra Singh of SUVA, representing EC group, also

But, at that time, there was no resolution of who should get the school,
“Himalayan Institute of Integrated Therapy”.

(Note: Unfortunately the cowardly founders of the school did not use the
name of Ananda Marga in the title of the school, due to their ulterior

Then just 2 weeks ago, we got the report that again Dr Singh came to
India, just for one week with the sole intention of visiting the Kullu
school & to convince local Margiis not to hand over the school to Ranchi

As some may or may not know, Dr Jitendra Singh has put a lot of money
into the school, “Himalayan Institute of Integrated Therapy”, at Kullu –
as have his other Laukik family members. They all financially supported
the Kullu school.

Anyone who has come here and visited the school know there is a lot of
computer equipment & other other costly items on site. Dr Jitendra Singh
came to Kullu primarily because he is worried that he will lose his
investment in equipment at the school. He still harbors the bitter taste
of what happened with the hospital at Ananda Nagar which got captured
during the group clash.

To keep the school, Dr Jitendra Singh tried to convince one EC group
Dada to go there & take charge but that Dada wasn’t interested.

In the end, still today there is boxing going on for who will control
the school at Kullu.

Now is the time the general society needs neo-humanistic teaching of
Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji, and these people are extremely busy in
infighting, wasting their precious time and resources which could have
been used for serving suffering humanity.

Let Lord Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji give these people viveka and vaeragya
so that they can understand the truth that Baba wants samgacchadhvam in
true sense.

were lying in the dust.

NY sector continues to be the breeding grounds for all kinds of groupist
experimentation. As you will see below, factional leaders have their own
unique modus operendi – filled with duplicity.

Actually, below are two separate but related scenarios, joined at the
hip by hypocrisy. This is a must-read for all in NY sector as well as
margiis around the globe. Because what is going on is bound to play out
in your backyard, in one way, shape or form.

CASE #1:


This first case tells the story of how top group leaders are willing to
bend all the rules and toss ideology and Ista aside for the sake of

All know that Citsvarupananda has a colorful history, checkered in many
ways. He enjoys entertaining young ladies and he has a soft spot for
money. He’ll take it any way he can.

For years, Citsvarupananda worked in Maharashtra where he knows many of
the families well – especially those who have young girls. One such
family was of Brother Diipak. Citsvarupananda was giving that family
lots of money for his own pleasure and indulgence.

Diipak, who has since passed, had around 4 children or so – two boys and
two girls, all of whom have since grown. This story centers around one
of his sons, named Sandiip.

Sandiip has a reputation for money borrowing – he’ll take money from
anyone, anytime. All in Bombay are aware about this. In the past,
Sandiip has often received payments from Citsvarupananda.

In turn, Sandiip also knew that Citsvarupananda would do anything to
make extra money. So, about three years ago, when Sandiip was getting
ready to move to the USA, he promised Citsvarupananda that if Dada will
give him 3 lakhs rupees (RS 300,000) for travel and settlement in the
USA, then he (Sandiip) will repay Citsvarupananda with the entire
principal and much, much more.

Hearing this, Citsvarupananda’s greedy eyes and ears perked up and the
deal was on.


Very soon, the first part of the deal was done: Citsvarupananda had the
3 lakhs to give Sandiip.

Apparently, that is just a casual sum for Dadaji. But to complete the
deal, Citsvarupananda had to consult his higher-ups. Because he needed
to figure out a way to keep Sandiip in the USA, otherwise his entire
investment in Sandiip would fall apart. Citsvarupananda needed to ensure
that Sandiip secured a permanent resident card (i.c. Green Card) so
Sandiip could remain in the USA and make the money to repay him.

For this reason, Citsvarupananda brought Rudrananda and Svarupananda
into the know. Dada C knew well that his bosses would be keen to make
some money and they have the clout to pull string and give approval etc.

Remember the goal was to figure out how Sandiip would work and stay in
the US by getting a Green Card.


Sandiip entered the US one year ago on an R-1 Visa that he obtained
through some temple. But the R-1 Visa does not allow a person to live in
the US permanently or work legally on a lontime basis in the US. So they
had to find a way to get Sandiip his Green Card.

Since Sandiip was a margii, the Rudrananda faction could not apply for
his Green Card because eventually word would get out that Sandiip paid
off the RN gang to apply for a Green Card. When really, the organisation
is only supposed to approve Green Card applications for wholetimers. So
team RN did not do this. They knew that so many margiis would innocently
ask for the same, and what would those Dadas say, “We will only do it if
you promise to pay us huge sums of money.” Obviously, they could not go
this route. So they had to figure out another way for Sandiip to get his
Green Card.

Now see what they did.

Citsvarupananda, with the approval of Rudrananda and Svarupananda, told
margii brother Sandiip to enroll in ASM’s (Fake Nirmegha orgnaisation
headquartered in California) fake family acarya training program. Then
team Nirmegha would end up securing a Green Card for Sandiip. They
further instructed Sandiip to just “go through the motions” and not
actually become part of Nirmegha’s fake cadre.

So Sandiip did the training and team Nirmegha never understood that they
were duped.

Sandiip’s participation was all just a sham to get a Green Card. Is that
outrageous or what.

Rudrananda of course views Nirmegha / ASM as an enemy and if anyone else
goes for her fake family acarya training then Rudrananda is ready to
wage a war against that person. Rudrananda will totally ruin that
person’s life. But for the sake of money, Rudrananda is totally
comfortable sending a margii to that same ASM brigade. Such his the
hypocrisy of Rudrananda and Svarupananda. If they think there will be a
big payout for their pocket they can compromise anything and everything.

That is why many say that theses big Dadas care nothing about ideology
and Ista. No dharmic leader would ever do a business deal by sending
someone for Nirmegha’s fake family acarya training. Remember, Nirmegha
claims to be channeling Baba and she has a bag full of fake followers,
most of whom are eager for the post. And team Citsvarupananda /
Rudrananda / Svarupananda sent Sandiip into that hell fire of dogma for
a business scheme.

It seems that for their selfish chase for money these group Dadas are
willing to do anything and everything, including sending a margii to an
illegitimate acarya training program. Indeed there is no end to their
hypocrisy. But if anyone else goes for that same ASM fake training –
without paying off Rudranana – then they will be banished for life. By a
crude payment, Sandiip became Rudrananda’s buddy and inside ally.

Sandiip is now planted in the USA, and Rudrananda & Co are greedily
swimming in delight as they get their huge payback from Sandiip.

CASE #2:


We all know about the court case in NY Sector between EC and the RN
group. For more info read:

Now let’s take a behind the scenes look at why this happened in the
first place. How is it that Ranchi lost its grip on NY sector.

Basically it all comes down to two names: Tiirthananda & Vimalananda.
Because of their personalities the balance of power shifted in EC’s
favour. Both groups are selfish, that is sure, but only one could apply
the requisite cheap charisma to grab hold of the sector.


Both Tiirthananda and Vimalananda claim to be the Sectorial Secretary of
NY sector.

First let’s take a look at Tiirthananda (formerly known as
Nirgunananda).This Dada is very intelligent and cunning. He knows and
understands how to maneuver his game according to the demands of the
people. He knows all the tricks to attract the masses. Indeed he has
every quality of a leader – the only problem is that he is going against
Baba’s idealogy. Tiirthananda does absolutely everything for his own
personal gain, i.e. for his own prestige, power, and control.

In contrast, Vimalananda is somewhat shrewd & cunning, but his hypocrisy
is quite evident. Tiirthananda is also a hypocrite, but he can hide,
whereas Vimalananda cannot.

Many say that in his life, Vimalananda has never told the truth. He will
just tell the exact opposite of what is on his mind. Actually although
he is the Ranchi SS, Vimalananda does not care about Ranchi
administration. He does not care who wins the court case in NY sector.
His only concern is his own prestige – nothing more. Even then he has
basically zero prestige in NY sector. He could not figure out a way to
beguile the margiis. With his bag of tricks, Tiirthananda has all the
prestige. Indeed Vimalananda has merely two cronies following him in NY
sector, and they are in it just for getting the post. Not a single
margii really likes Vimalananda – that’s the basis feeling.

Whereas, Tiirthananda has been able to loop most of the NY margiis
around his fingers. They “ooooh” and “aaaah” at Tiirthananda’s seemingly
magical ways – even to the degree that they are willing to do illegal
and anti-dharmic things like change the NY sector by-laws.

Regarding Vimalananda, he and Rudrananda are the same. They will never
show their inner self. They will always appear very clean and charming
in the society, never criticizing anyone. But behind people’s back, they
cut people down. They are both quite clever – but Vimalananda’s ways are
not quite as refined. That is why he lost the battle to Tiirthananda and
this the reason why Ranchi has no support from margiis in NY sector.

For this reason, Ranchi had not recourse but to wage the court case
against team EC in NY sector. They had no other way to get control of
the sector.

Let us see which group of hypocrites wins out. Of course with regards to
the court case, the big winners are the lawyers. These greedy
mercenaries do not care an iota about Ananda Marga, yet they will draw
huge fees for their so-called legal services.

Not only do groupists fall away from Baba’s teachings, but they open
support the crude ways of these greedy lawyers by giving them business.


With such groupists in power, there is only beguiling and trickery – and
lots of lip service about unity etc. Here below Baba uncovers their
entire psyche.

Baba says, “All the “isms” prevalent in today’s world can easily be
included in the category of religions [including groupism]. All the
defects of religions exist in the “isms” too. None of the political,
social or economic “isms” are free from superstition none are
straightforward; all are full of rampant hypocrisy..false piety is not
the path of dharma, leading to welfare, but the opposite of dharma, the
negation of welfare. They can be likened to asses wearing lion skins:
take away the lion skins and their their true form will be revealed.
They have no other purpose than to grab votes and usurp power. The
mentality to grab the votes first and then serve the people is not the
true spirit of selfless social service; rather, it is the mentality of
power craving materialists.” (AMIWL-7)


By Baba’s grace little by little margiis around the globe are
understanding that none of the groups can bring relief. Whether in NY
sector or anywhere else, each group is fueled by their own
self-interest, nothing else. Of course we will watch to see what happens
with the dramas with brother Sandiip and the court case, but in our
hearts we all know that the only way to establish our Marga society is
to follow Baba’s teachings.

Baba says, “You will have to advance with the true spirit of genuine
social service, because the very characteristic of dharma is to promote
the cause of welfare.” (AMIWL-7)



While groupism weaves its curvy path in NY sector, there is a huge war
going on in India. One thing that may not be known is this.

All the jagritis, buildings and lands are controlled by one or another
group. And each group is very eager to garner more followers. To that
end they chastise and threaten any margii who enters or communicates
with those from a competing camp. That means if a margii goes to a
jagrti for dharmacakra or allows a Dada to stay at their house, then
they will incur the wrath of the other groups. This makes life extremely
difficult for margiis in Delhi sector.

Now here comes the big hypocrisy. Confirmed groupist stooges are free to
associate with all the groups as they are already wedded to a particular
camp. But those good margiis who shun all sorts of groupism are
constantly under threat. If they so many as put their big toe in a
particular functions like a marriage ceremony or dharmacakra, then there
will be hell to pay by Dadas from from the other camps.

This is one of the major difficulties for Delhi sector margiis.

that, ‘I have served others. Then they should also do something for me. It
will be better.’ That is not good. Rather the one serving should have this
feeling in his mind: ‘I have come on this earth to serve others. It is my

Baba, even today Your sweet aroma remains lingering on that path– on

impossible for me to forget. Your divine advent in my mind is far more
significant than hundreds of lives of sadhana, & its penance. Baba, You are
the most meaningful thing in my life. By Your grace, You have presented
Yourself after my hundreds of lives of searching and longing.

Baba, even if You do not remain close to me, my mind does not go far
from You. By Your grace I always remain ensconced in Your blissful
ideation. Baba, keeping all my longings for You in my heart, I will go on
singing Your divine songs day and night. Baba, by Your grace You have made
me understand this truth: That to do any extraordinary task is impossible
for those who have a dry heart. Only those with innate love for You will be
able to climb over the insurmountable mountains. Others cannot because in
each and every sphere of life Your grace is everything. Without that
nothing is possible. Baba, by Your own qualities You have bound me with
Your divine love and by Your grace You always keep me under Your shelter.

Baba, Your sweet and charming aroma keeps me thinking about You


It has been four years since one group changed the NY sector by-laws in
their own favour, and today their actions have come back to haunt them.
They are being bitten by their own deeds, yet hoping that the rest of
the sector will bail them out. All the details are clearly outlined below.


As we know, Baba’s guidelines on unity are sublime. Unity means rallying
around a common spiritual ideology and Goal.

Baba says, “Human unity is purely an ideological unity, which means
unity in the psychic sphere. Where there is psychic unity, physical
unity will also occur. In the realm of unity, unity is always psychic
ideological unity means unity in the subtlest level of the mind.” (Talks
on Prout)

Our definition of unity then is moving together toward the Supreme, not
any worldly or selfish outcome like post, power and prestige. That is
what our samgacchadhvam chant is all about: Uniting our minds for the
great cause, not any small-minded pursuit.

So unity in AM is a high endeavour.


Unfortunately, these days in AM, the word unity itself has become
misused or misunderstood as all the groups try to rally adherents in the
name of unity and one group even tried to call themselves as such.

As Ananda Margiis it is our duty to once again ignite the spirit of real
unity in our Marga. No group interest should be served, only we are to
do according to His wish.

To that end, we should clearly understand what is happening now in NY
sector, as it is a mere microcosm of what will invariably unfold
wherever groupism is in vogue.

Four years ago, in the early monthly of 2006, one Dada and his group X
captured the hearts and minds of some of the senior margiis in NY
sector. In order to keep his power, that Dada convinced margiis to
change the by-laws of NY sector. Why? Because group Z who was
controlling Centre wanted to appoint a new SS. But the leader of group X
did not want this to happen. He wanted the power for himself. By
offering top posts and prestige to certain senior margiis, this Dada and
his newly made subordinates (i.e. Board of Directors) changed the
by-laws of NY sector to state that group Z could not appoint a new SS
without the clear approval of the NY Board of Directors. That was the
way things were distorted.

Time passed like this. Now, see what is going on…

In Feb 2010, group Z had enough and hired a legal team to take action
against group X and the Board of Directors of NY. The legal team sent a
letter informing the group X and his Board of Directors that they are no
longer the legal managers of AMPS in NY sector and that they had to
relinquish all AM assets etc, including their cherished posts.

Today, in Mar 2010, the Dada leading group X and his Board of Directors
find themselves in a jam. They tried to negotiate themselves out of
trouble, but it did not work. Now they have no choice but to fight back
in the courts, which is both a time consuming and costly affair. So they
have written a letter appealing to NY margiis to help out.

Of course, in this tainted era, no group is pure – neither X nor Z.

But it is ironic, that all along the lead Dada of group X and his Board
of Directors acted unilaterally to control NY sector by distorting the
established by-laws etc, and now that they are in trouble of losing
their grip (as well as a pile of money) they are appealing to the mass
of margiis, whom they’ve been treating all along as second class citizens.

Now see here what the margiis have to say about this.


At minimum, two brave and clear-thinking margiis sisters (one in NYC and
one in Los Altos, CA) have come forward and made a dharmic stand.

The sister in NYC has outlined a number of points of concern about the
way things have been been going in NY sector the last few years. Here is
what she says:

“There is no excuse from SO that margiis are not sent this information”

“As a Margii and the rest of us, we have the right to know information
about any issue concerning Ananda Marga from the existing Ananda Marga Inc.”

“How can we truly accept the legality of Ananda Marga Inc Board of
Directors when a portion of the original By Laws was changed without informing,
consulting the General Body of Ananda Marga that itself is illegal.”

“The Tenure of Board of Directors must be clear…The General Body must be
able to select / elect their officers, board of directors ETC. and there
must be an official communication…given to all members of the General

“This periodical communication should give accurate report of what is
going on…”

“Now that there is a lawsuit, WHY is it that only now the Names of the
Board of Directors appear in our Screen reaching out for help to handle this lawsuit
and LAWSUIT was never officially communicated to ALL by mail or in person
thru a meeting with the local unit.”

“Is it not hypocritical?”

That was the pointed letter from one margii in NYC.

In addition, the margii sister from Los Altos (who was one of the first
to publicly break the story) has given some excellent points. One of the
main themes in her letter is that of moral responsbility by those Board
Members. See here what this margii sister has written.

“I feel strongly that the Board of NYS should shoulder the financial
costs of their legal case since it involves them specifically and does
not in any way help the sector nor benefit general Margiis. All the
members of the Board are well able to pay their legal costs and BE
continue to do their missionary work and support their local units. I
hope the Board of Directors do not have plans to have the Margiis pay
for their own power games. I consider such, along with that credit card
for dharma pracar I keep seeing advertised, exploitation.”

By their expression it is quite clear that the mood in NY sector is not
to support any group in their contest or slug-fest for power.

Others have also come forward in this respect.

The margiis want to see the ideological expression of Ananda Marga, not
the crowing of power of any group through the US court system.

Now it is quite apparent how the selfish misdeeds of group X and their
Board of Directors has come back to haunt them. They distorted the legal
foundation of AMPS in NY sector to gain power, and now that same legal
system has come back to bite them.


Here the main ideological point and Baba’s divine teaching is that we
should never tolerate division. Group X broke away from group Z to
capture NY sector. No doubt group Z is unjust, but breaking away is not
the answer. That is a common ailment that plagues humanity.

Baba says, “As a result [of the dogma of groupism], one human society is
divided into different nations, and one nation is divided into different
religions; religions also have different castes, and caste also have
different sub-castes – what kind of situation is this? We have only
learned how to divide and subdivide humanity, and we never learned how
to unite the people. This is all due to the defective teachings of
dogmas.” (AFPS-9)

Then what is to be done. When group Z is in power and if group Z is
abusing that power, then a consciousness raising movement must happen
within the Marga about the injustices and exploitation done by group Z.
And then mass psychic pressure must be applied to group Z until they
reform their ways or leave.

That is our avenue for fighting groupism and exploitation – applying
pressure on the wrongdoers, not creating a parallel group.

Once a second group is formed that only compounds the problem and sets
the tone for more and more groups to be created. And that is what we see
happening today in AMPS. However picking up all the pieces of all these
factions is not so easy. Putting the parts back together is a difficult
job. That is why the main strategy is to keep the organisation whole and
correct the wrongs – not jump ship and create yet another faction.

Unfortunately, that is what group X did as well as so many other
factions. That only worsens matters. But they do this because it appeals
to their selfish interest. They want power and it is easy to grab the
power by creating a separate club or group and appointing oneself as the
leader etc. Their whole entire outlook is based on material lust and
control. They think they will live on this earth forever and the crowing
glory is to rule the roost. This is their manner – but it will never
bring unity, just groupist strife.

Hence an entirely new mind-set is needed. One must think, “My life is
short, I have come on this earth only for a short while. I do not want
any post or power, just I want to serve Baba and His creation and spread
His ideals.”

When one thinks in this way, then they will never tolerate any
exploitation nor will they rush to grab the chair either. They will
establish His teachings within the organisation and beyond and bring
unity amongst all beings. This is Baba’s divine guideline and this is
our way.

The whole episode in NY sector is moving in a faulty direction because
all parties involved are just interested in power and post. Their fight
has nothing to do with ideology. Their concern is not the right printing
of Baba’s discourses, nor margii rights nor proper BP elections nor the
elimination of Fake Ananda Vaniis. These factions are only in it for
their own power. That was what led group X to change the by-laws and
that is why their wrongdoing from 4 years ago has now come back to haunt


By Baba’s grace, He has blessed us with all the teachings to resolve the
current problems. All we need to do is follow His guidelines – nothing
more. Unfortunately, when various groups chase after the post at any and
all cost, then unity is but a dream. Knowing this, we should all take
concerted efforts to reform the ways of all groupists and bring about
that era of peace and happiness into our Marga.

Baba says, “However, psychic or ideological unity may be affected if we
encourage the exploitation of one group by another. So to avoid this
there should not be any scope for exploitation in society. And to ensure
this we have to start a new order to safeguard the interests of the
exploited masses. So for a proper social synthesis what we require is a
common philosophy of life; that is, ideological unity.” (PNS-15)



In the above letter, group X is the EC faction led by Tiirthananda and
his chosen Board of Directors and group Z is the Rudrananda/Nigamananda
faction and their selected NY SS, Vimalananda.

One thing should also be noted. For years and years, Tiirthananda and EC
were the right hand cadre of Rudrananda as they thought this would bring
them post and power. When it did not yield them any fruit, they split up
and went on their own.

So their fight is just based on selfishness, not universal welfare or
ideological unity.

One noted group not mentioned in this letter is the Tiljala faction.
Suffice to say here that they too have their stated agenda but they
could not capture or compete for power in NY sector.


Here is the list of EC’s Board of Directors of Ananda Marga, Inc. (NY
Sector). It is these people are who in danger of losing their shirt in
NY sector so all of a sudden they are appealing to others for help, when
all along they have been quite aloof all these years.

Note: In the fast-paced life of this 21st century, people no longer give
themselves proper time to attend to their basic life duties, such as
eating food. Instead people just rush off from one appointment to
another and “grab a bite to eat” along the way at any number of
drive-thru, fast-food places. In their hectic pace, instead of chewing
their food they just inhale their meal, nearly swallowing it whole. But
this way of “eating” is terribly hazardous to the health and invites

The group scene in AMPS seems to have taken its course in a new
direction. For some months the group leaders were making “some
adjustments” and transitioning. Now it is quite clear they have
solidified their plans and fully embarked on their new way of doing

By reading the below report about the recently held sadhana shivir
programs in Mumbai / Alibag, as well as events leading up to it,
everything has become quite clear.


Before going into the details of the latest groupist developments, let’s
first turn out eyes in this direction as there seems to be some relevance.

When two mafia groups make their “peace” with one another, then they
delineate boundaries, claim territories, and agree not to interrupt or
intrude upon each other’s way of doing business. That means that the
“peace” or truce has nothing to do with stopping criminal activity etc.
Only it means that those mafia families will not openly clash with each
other; each will be allowed their to have their operation run smoothly,
unhindered. By this way both mafia groups can conserve their resources
(money, guns, personnel, protection etc) and fully focus on the task at
hand: Exploiting the common people. This is the common type of truce
that happens amongst the mafioso.

Read the below and see for yourself how far today’s groups in AMPS have
adopted a similar type of truce.


Here is a step-wise history and review of events spanning the last few
days & months. The entire thread is linked together.

[#1] Last weekend, there were two sadhana shivir programs held in Mumbai
on the same date: 4 – 5 – 6th of December 2009. One was organized by
Rudrananda’s group along with their margii supporters. And the other was
held by certain sponsors featuring EC and Kolkata group WTs and their
margii supporters.

[#2] At the Ranchi camp’s program, the main trainers were Savita’nanda
and Priyatosa’nanda.When margiis asked that why they organized sadhana
shivir on the same date as EC and B group, then Savita’nanda’s
unabashedly replied, “To see which margiis are on our side and which are
on their side.”

Savita’nanda further tried to impose the notion upon margiis that Puroda
Pramukha is the spiritual head of the organisation. So no one should
raise any questions about PP. The sadhana shivir was used to protect /
upgrade the weak position of Vishvadeva’nanda. How far they were
successful it was not clear.

But of course all margiis know that the post of Purodha Pramukha is a
social one not a spiritual one.

[#3] Here are some of the other main players from the other sadhana
shivir program. Mantreshvara’nanda, Kalyaneshvara’nanda,
Pranava’tmaka’nanda were
present from Kolkata. Tiirtha’nanda, Parmeshvara’nanda, Vandana’nanda, and
Artaprema’nanda were from EC or third front. Giita’ Didi was there with her



[#4] At Alibag sadhana shivirs, i.e. the ones hosted by EC and B group,
in the past such as in September ’09, the last day was spent in meetings
with senior margiis in hopes of creating unity and addressing other
problems in the organisation.

So naturally, during last week’s sadhana shivir in Alibag, all attendees
were thinking that once again such a meeting would be held amongst
margiis and Wts.

But this time, on the last day at 1 pm, the main sponsors and organizers
left and when some senior margiis started to ask about ideological
issues and unity points, then they were told that there will be not any
meeting. So margiis left the place.

[#5] But, this was not the end of the sadha shivir. After margiis left,
senior WTs of both Kolkata and EC / third front sat together. So just as
they previously
organized a big meeting on last day to address organizational issues,
they did it again this time, but they did not invite margiis to the
meeting. They did not want the margiis there – that is why they told
margiis to leave and they lied about the fact that they were indeed
having a meeting.

[#6] When margiis got the news about the meeting then many were
surprised that they were not included. Margiis began wondering why now
all the WT camps (Ranchi, Kolkata, & EC) ousted margiis from their
discussions and organized meetings amongst themselves on organizational
issues. This was the main topic of concern raised by margiis.


[#7] After marathon discussions and careful investigation, it is now
clear to all
margiis why this happened. Now all understand why both groups ousted
margiis and did not invite margiis in their meetings – neither at the
recent sadhana shivir not at other locations. Now everything is crystal

[#8] As everybody knows, the dominating mentality of all the groups is
that they all
are against margii leadership in the organization. Their aim is to keep
the margiis at bay, i.e. as followers not leaders. All the main groups
want to keep margiis as
2nd class citizens.

Their deceiving strategy the last few years has been to “collaborate”
with margiis in order to increase their own group power – not out of
true feelings of equality or respect for margiis. Because of the
intensity of the group fight, each camp tried in the past to align
themselves with margiis to increase their own factional influence and
resources. That’s all. They were merely using margiis for their own
groupist benefit.

So this is the reason why margiis were invited in the past, and now we
are going to read why all the various groups have changed their policy.


[#9] As we know, in Delhi National margii committee meeting both EC and
Kolkata dadas were invited. After Abhiprema’nanda’s murder by Kolkata
group inn 2003, this was one of the first times that Kolkata group got
the chance to engage with the greater margii society.

Then the leaders of national margiis committee enthusiastically
announced and requested Kolkata group to help organize the national
margii committee meeting in Kolkata. But it never happened. Why? Because
as a basic policy, Kolkata is blatantly against this type of margii
committee and margii leadership. That has been their approach since 1990
and it has not changed. B group’s main practice is: “Keep the margiis
subdued and under control.”

And now all the groups (Ranchi, B, & EC) have firmly adopted this same
policy as they have come together behind the scenes and created one
black pact like some mafioso truce. They basically decided that as a
policy we – the respective groups – should no longer attack one another.
We should instead grab our own booty and no longer expose each other’s
defects in public. That way we all win and we can focus on exploiting
margiis rather than clobbering each other and ruining our prestige in
front of everyone. This was the black peace they made. And in this way
the margiis have been rendered as dispensable, just mere pawns to exploit.

[#10] On the 30th of August, Nigama’nanda and Vimala’nanda of Ranchi
group, and Mantreshvarananda, Bhaveshananda from Kolkata met together
in Ananda Nagar and also they met with Parmeshvara’nanda of EC and
others on 1st of Sept. Then again on 26th of Oct in Ranchi, Nigama’nanda
met Parmeshvara’nanda.

This unique sequence of meetings set the stage for their newly adopted
policy: We should live together, respect each other’s territory, not
expose each others’ defects or scandalous behaviour, and not quarrel in
any way. Just we should rule over our various margii kingdoms and enjoy
the benefits.

Of course, publicly they told that this series of meetings were done to
try and create peace and unity and get our Marga back on the right path.
But the reality was something totally different.


Through all these WT groupist meetings and talks, they basically
formulated the following agenda. They realised they benefit more from
creating a static peace with one another than from openly fighting in
front of the margiis.

Here then are the major and minor tenets of their agreement. By reading
the below, we can easily see how such ruling WTs are not interested in
upholding ideology but rather maintaining their own groupist power
schema. They want to keep the status quo not set our Marga on the path
of dharmic revolution. For this reason they have no need to meet with
margiis in Alibag etc, instead the Wt groups meet among themselves,
outlining the following strategy.

(a) They will not file new court cases against each other. Going to
court has proven too costly and is a big drain on their resources in
terms of money, time and energy. Plus it dirties their own public image.
So they will not longer embark on costly new court cases to settle group

(b) They will not write mails about each other because too many Dadas
are losing their prestige among margiis. Whatever they have to say about
each other will be something good or neutral – or nothing at all. But
exposing each other’s sins and wrongdoing is no longer permitted. That
is the essence of their truce.

(c) They will not turn margiis against the other faction. Whichever
group has that margii is going to be respected.

(d) They will not highlight the characterlessness or looting scandals of
each other. Thus far this has taken a huge toll on the prestige and
reputation of all the groups. They realised that this is not in their
best interests. So whatever nonsense any group does will NOT be reported
by any other group. They figure this is the way to keep their prestige
in the eyes of the margiis.

(e) They – the various groups – will not invite margiis to act as
mediators or problem solving agents or leaders. The groupist Wts feel
that by inviting margiis to come forward then it will take away from
their own value. It was a PR strategy they were willing to try for a
short while, but no longer. They do not want margiis coming within 1000
kiloketers of any leadership role or position. They feel that just hurts
the standing of all the Wt groups. It is like admitting a weakness.

(f) They will not allow margiis to raise their voice on the issues of
scriptural distortion, the dogma of MPD, the Fake BP manual, Fake Ananda
Vanii or any other ideological issue and concern related with Baba’s
teachings and margii rights.

(g) They will keep margiis exclusively as followers, not leaders.

(h) Unity meetings or any meetings about present crisis will be
organized among
senior WTs only. Margiis will not be invited. And these talks will only
focus on how all the groups can maintain their present power. It will be
off limits to criticise any group per se.

(i) All group leaders agreed that b/c of margiis involvement in
organizational issues they have suffered a big loss to their own
prestige and power. If margiis become leaders then who will we rule?


[#11] Actually nowadays margiis are awakened to the organizational and
ideological issues and we now got the fact that all three group leaders
are power mongers, problem creators, and a terrible burden on Ananda
Marga. So we margiis are chasing all groups leaders. All groups are
feeling problem because of this awakening amongst margiis.

5 years ago Ranchi still had EC in their fold and they were turning
margiis against Kolkata. That anti-sentiment worked for the short-term.
But after sometime the Ranchi group also became an issue and the cause
of so many problems.

So after all these years, margiis have seen that all the Wt groups are
the same. All the groups disregard margii rights and blatantly go
against Baba’s divine teachings and mandates. All the groups want power
and control.

Kolkata is not in power, but still the Ranchi camp is not fixing the
distorted AM Revolution discourse which grants margii rights nor is
Ranchi doing anything to restore BP rights or fix the problems with Fake
BP Manual or Fake Ananda Vanii, nor any other ideological issue or
concern. Same thing is with third front. They are also not doing
anything to repair the curtailments of margiis rights. These things are
not even in their agenda.

For all these reasons and more, margiis nowadays know the fact and the
real face of each group. All the groups just want their own power and
wish to preserve the status quo by keeping the margiis in bondage and
indulging in their groupist ways.


[#12] This was the cause behind the secret meeting of both EC and
Kolkata group dadas at the recently held sadhana shivir in Mumabi /
Aligbag. That was why no margiis were invited because now all the groups
are teaming up against margiis. In that case, what is the need to waste
their time by talking with margiis.

Because of that so-called unity meeting, EC did not file any case
against the boards election of Ranchi group, although it was illegal.


This whole drama is going to continue at New Year’s DMS and beyond. For
the time being, gone are the days of open righting, of court cases, of
paying for police and protection, of including margiis in talks etc. The
groups are now preserving their own resources and maintaining their own
power. They understand the best way to do this is create a black peace.
Then they can live large and minimize their struggles.


So what the groups are doing nowadays is not different from a truce
called between two warring mafia families. They are not calling a truce
in order to come clean and abide by the laws of the land. They are
calling that truce because their war has been too taxing on them
financially and has hurt their image. So they made a pact. You do what
you do in your area without bothering me and I will do what I do in my
area without bothering you. I gamble, you gamble; I extort, you extort;
I rob and cheat; you rob and cheat; I do prostitution, you do
prostitution. All these things are fine and through it all we will not
cross each other.

Indeed the groups in AM are behaving no differently. The only peace they
have made is to no longer expose each other’s ills and keep all the
margiis under their control by respecting the boundaries and territories
of all the groups. Their common theme is WT superiority at all cost. By
this negative pact, margiis are pushed in the trash and Baba’s divine
teachings are utterly ignored.

Such is the way things are rolling nowadays under the latest groupist


Of course, Baba Himself strongly opposes all types of crude peace deals.

Baba says, “Wherever and as long as avidya’ remains victorious in this
fight, there, also, a special type of peace prevails which may be called
ta’masikii sha’nti [static peace].” (POD #15)

Baba says, “Static peace is definitely not desirable. Suppose a
particular group of people [H, B, EC] belonging to a particular region
oppress or attack another group of people [family margiis] of the same
region or of some other region. In such circumstances, if all others [Wt
groups] simply remain mute spectators or resort to the path of
negotiation, compromise or mutual settlement as the only solution, it
should be clearly understood that they are encouraging static peace.”

By Baba’s above words is it not clear what the groups are now doing?

Their crude strategy is plain as day. They are indulged in dirty pacts
for their own prestige and power, without regard for any ideological or
moral precepts. By this way, real peace will never be made in AM, rather
things will only get worse. Because there is absolutely no redeeming
quality to black peace – never.

If any group indulges in casteism, polygamy, sex scandals, meat-eating,
alcohol consumption, destruction of Marga scriptures etc, all of that is
OK. All the groups can do what they like so long as they do not cross
any other group.

It is not that ideology should be upheld. The treaty is that all dogmas
and problems should be kept hidden and left unaddressed. If scriptures
are polluted – fine. Do not raise any issues of margii rights. Just keep
everything under the covers.

Let immorality and dogma grow, so long as it serves our purpose and
keeps us in power. That is what all the groups are doing – bar none.

By so doing, all the factions are cheating margiis and coming under the
condemnation of Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji.


By Baba’s grace, Ananda Margiis and good Wts are ready to stand up and
steer the true course and bring AM back onto the path of ideology. The
scene at Alibag sadhana shivr was just one more example of how the
groups are only interested in their group agenda – nothing more. They do
not care about the welfare of margiis not the sanctity of Ananda Marga.

Baba says, “In this fight, your goal is not the sin or the sinner, your
goal is the Supreme Consciousness. Anything that comes in the way of
this has to be removed mercilessly. When clouds collect around the
pole-star and cover it, your duty will be to remove the clouds and
follow the pole-star without caring to see where the clouds have gone.”


Fate of Egotistical People

Baba says, “It is only when the human beings, become puffed up with
vanity and misuse the power granted to them by Parama Purus’a, that He
steals everything from them. Hence, He is called Darpaha’rii – the
stealer of vanity…Vain people suffer a similar fate when their vanity
is destroyed as the balloon faces when its air is let out. But, does
Parama Purus’a snatch away everything from everyone? No, He takes away
only when the unit beings try to create obstructions in the flow of His
creation.” (APH-4, p.247)

Thus Ananda Margiis across the globe should take direct and active

Polytechnic College (Malur, Karnataka).

At present, as we speak, the groups involved are trying to keep
everything under the covers so they can continue to loot and keep their
booty. For the first time, the entire story is told here within this

All may know that we have our Ananda Marga Polytechnic College (Diploma
in Engineering) in Malur, near Bengalore, Karnataka.

Students get admission in this college on the basis of big capitation
fees (donation in lakhs of rupees), and large monthly tuition fees. In
this way this institution generates a huge amount of money, more than
one million US dollars per year.

That’s why all groups have their greedy eyes on this college.


When the Kolkata administration divided AMPS, then they could not capture
this institution because all the margiis and the entire staff at the college
were against Kolkata.

The Rudrananda camp had full control over the college. It should be
noted that Parmehsvara’nanda and Vandana’nanda were also hardcore cadre
of H group those days.

But times change. When the EC group emerged under the leadership of
Parmeshvara’nanda and Vandana’nanda, then the situation at this college,
also changed.

The in-charge of the Polytechnic College was Animesha’nanda, who is
originally from Chattisgarah but he has only minimal Chattisgarhii
sentiment. He changed his loyalty to Vandana’nanda + Parmeshvara’nanda.
Plus margiis of those areas under the leadership of S.S. Goenka also
became supporters of this group.


Because of this groupism one big tussle started in the college.

The college staff divided into two groups.

(#1) One group was of Animesha’nadna + Citshiva’nanda (who went there to
give muscle support to Animesha’nanda) and some staffs of the college
teaching section, who were supporter of EC.

(#2) Other group emerged in the leadership of Arun (from Gaya, Bihar)
the hostel in-charge who has been living in the college for years. He
has group ties with Vishvanath (from Bihar, he lives there to save the
college from outside criminals), Ravi (from Gaya), Pankaj (teaching staff from
Varanasi, relative of Ravii) and other staffs of the hostel.


After some days of tussle, finally both groups captured certain areas of
the college and shifted there accordingly.

The teaching department of the college came under the control of
Animesha’nanda. He receives tuition fees from the students, pays the
teaching staff and other college staff, and “manages” the money he gets
from tuition fees and capitation fees.

The other group captured the hostel. In turn, they collect hostel
charges from the students, and basically deal with all monies related
with the hostel and living accommodations & services etc.

Animesha’nanda never had control over the hostel.




For the last 4 years, both of these two groups have been looting the
money they were getting, i.e. embezzlement. They’ve been stuffing their
pockets and personal bank accounts with the monies collected when in
fact those funds are the rightful property of the AM Polytechnic
College, not those greedy groupists.

In short, because there was no proper administration, there has been a
huge money scandal unfolding at the college. Still it is going on.

Animesha’nanda, who gets millions as capitation fees and tuition fees,
pays huge shares to his dons like Parmeshvara’nanda and Vandana’nanda,
and also to what some margiis call the “hi profile margiis” in the name
of margii meetings.

In return, all Animesha’nanda does is arrange one sadhana’ shivir per
year — that’s all, nothing more. Thus, he personally pockets huge piles
of money and tuition / capitation fees every year. This literally then
is a case of millions of dollars of embezzlement that he steals from our
AM Polytechnic College.

The other group embezzles a sizable amount from the hostel and they were
also happy with that huge amount they were saving per month. Arun is all in
all of the hostel. He has been living with his family there since years.

Here everyone should be clear that all money (after expenditure of
hostel) was being distributed to the members of group. Money was not used
for the development of college or organization.

Thus, both the parities involved are cheating the AM Polytechnic college
by grabbing hoards of monies for their personal and groupist desires.


Since years there has been a cold war at the college. Both groups have had
their greedy eyes and insatiable appetites on each others holdings and

Animesha’nanda and his goon Citshiva’nanda were always trying to capture
the hostel while the other group was always trying to capture the
teaching side of the college.

Because of this fight, there has not been a proper teaching or learning
environment at the college. Instead, our AM Polytechnic College has been
transformed into a place of cheap sentiments, politics, crookedness,
groupism and money looting.


Finally, Citshiva’nanda has started taking the hostel fees from the
Chattisgarhi students. In reply the other group started taking tuition
fees from the students of Bihar, Jharkhanda and UP.

Then Citshiva’nanda organized Chattisgarhi students living in hostel
against the hostel in-charge and his group. With the help of these students
and local hired goondas, Citshiva’nanda tried to capture the hostel.

Then the other group replied in the same manner. Hostel staffs,
Vishvanath, Ravi and students from Bihar, Jharkhanda, UP attacked on
Chattisgarhi group. After a physical fight (lathis, hockeysticks,
knives, local made guns were shown) Citshiva’nanda had to leave the

In the end, the police also came to the college to manage the unruly scene.


The hostel group then called Ranchi administration for help and the
Rudrananda camp who has been keeping a greedy eye on the money, did not
delay a moment.

Svarupa’nanda and Dharmapra’n’a’nanda (Chennai DS) went to the college.
They stayed at the college to establish a presence and control the college.

The Rudrananda camp has declared Dharmapra’n’a’nanda as in-charge of the
college. So Dharmapra’n’a’nanda and Ranchi supporter hero Sushil from
Katihar are at the college.

Nigama’nanda from Ranchi and Parmeshvara’nanda from Patna have reached
Bengalore. They are involved in arm-wrestling match with each other at
the bargaining table.

Now situation is very tense.


Now we have to investigate why – despite all these antics and commotion
– both camps are keeping quiet about all this.

Because we have to remember that whenever any member of the Rudrananda
camp / H group enters even a small ashram operated by EC or intrudes on
any small and useless issue, then the EC personnel colour the whole
internet and make it a big issue. All their e-mailers become active.
They become totally vocal.

So it is very surprising that on this big issue about the AM Polytechnic
College, where Rudrananda camp is storming and capturing the college and
where a nasty physical fight has occurred, the entire EC team is keeping

Why? They are not telling a single word. Why?

Animesha’nanda is telling that he will solve the problems and he does
not need help of any margii. Why? Is it not a point of intrigue?

When H group kicked out Parmehsvara’nanda and Vandana’nanda and others
then EC went to all margiis and begged for help and still they are crying
for help.

But in the case of this Malur Polytechnic College issue, why is it that
they do not want margiis to interfere? Why is the EC leadership of
Parmeshvara’nanda going to sit with Nigma’nanda directly to solve the
problem? Is it not strange and out of character?

The answer of all these question is: To keep all the money they have
looted and keep the scandal secret.

For this single reason, neither group wants to highlight the situation.

If margiis are alerted and come forward and look into the matter then
all will know that for the last many years millions of dollars money
have been looted and embezzled from our AM Polytechnic College by these
very groupists.

EC does not want to to reveal this multi-million dollar scandal and the
Rudrananda camp wants either full control of the college or a maximum
share in the looted amount.

Hence both group leaders are in contact to solve this problem secretly
on a give-and-take basis at the bargaining table. They prefer to make a
black pact and keep their millions as opposed to letting the margiis
know what hell has happened.

That’s why Animesha’nadna is telling margiis not to come forward and EC
supporters & e-mailers are keeping mum.


When our AM Polytechnic College is being ravaged by groupists and when
all the projects of AM are meant to be in the service of Gurudev and
humanity – not in the hands of greedy groups – then we should be alert,
ready to take action and apply pressure.

In that case it is the duty of all Ananda Margiis to unitedly rise up
and correct the situation. This much we owe our Beloved Baba. We must
not sit idle thinking others will do. It is our personal responsibility
to stand up and act.

As margiis we should not wait for an invitation from any group.

Responsible margiis, those who are not puppets of any group, should come
forward and critically look into the matter. The account books should be
audited by independent auditors and the ongoing looting and money
scandal should be stopped.

All monies earned by the Polytechnic College in Malur should be used for
the development of the college, not sucked up by groupist tycoons for
their personal gain.




Now that the news is out, we should be swift to take action. Sitting
idle amounts to sin according to Baba – a sin of omission.

Baba says, “Those who shirk duties and responsibilities do commit a
great harm to society. It is this lack of dutifulness in our country
[India] today that has caused great retardation in different spheres of
life. It has also caused spiritual degeneration. One should perform good
actions regularly, should do sa’dhana’ properly – these are the dos
which everyone is expected to perform. Those who do not pay heed to
these responsibilities do indulge in pratyava’ya. Pa’taka is the
collective name of pa’pa and pratyava’ya.” (AV-23)

Thus we should not remain still a moment longer while such groupists
pillage and destroy our Polytechnic College in Malur.


By Baba’s grace He has empowered us with the ability to take action and
change the course of events – turning bad situations into positive ones.
In this way, we must rally round and save our Polytechnic College from
the clutches of these groupist forces.

Baba says, “The very import of the history of human welfare is the
history of struggle and strife. Even the sweet gospels of peace could
not be preached in an environment of peace and composure. Devils did not
allow the apostle of peace to work peacefully – that is why I say that
peace is the outcome of fight.”

“This endeavour at the well-being of the human race concerns everyone –
it is yours, mine and ours. We may afford to ignore our rights, but we
must not forget our responsibilities. Forgetting the responsibility

Dangerous Yoga

Baba says, “Suppose, one is a great Yogii but if there is no love for his
goal, then those suspended propensities will finally be converted into
crude matter. That is, the subtle human existence becomes like iron; it
becomes like wood; it becomes like sand. What a deterioration! What a
downfall! This particular type of yoga where a yogii does not bear love for
the Supreme Entity is called ‘Hatha Yoga’ in Samskrta. It is dangerous for
human elevation.” (AV-2, p.18)

Note: Nowadays, especially in European countries, in the name of teaching
yoga certain pseudo-yoga-businessmen are busy selling their useless and
dirty things to the common public by opening various yoga and meditation
centres. But in those places citing the God’s name is untouchable. And not
only that but they teach all kinds of fake lessons such as misguided
pranayama and self-invented asanas etc. But when the Goal is not Parama
Purusa then that ultimately brings terrible degeneration. Neither is the
unassuming public aware nor are these culprits aware what hell they are
bringing upon innocent people. It is our duty as far as possible to warn
everyone for their welfare.

Note: This letter contains LOTS OF NEWS regarding the way today’s
groupist leaders operate and how & why they bring depraved workers into
key posts. Anyone interested in the health & repair of our Marga society
should be 100% aware of what is reported below.

We all know that Baba places great emphasis on the quality of our leaders.

Baba says, “Ideal leadership is the wealth of the society… [and] will
also fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people.” (PNS-21)

People can depend upon ideal leaders to adhere to the code of dharma and
do the right thing cent-per-cent of the time.

In contrast, poor leadership is hell for the society.

Baba says, “Today there is catastrophe and misery in human society and
there is one reason: the defective leadership of society.” (AV-31)

Tragically, this is not just the case outside the Marga; within our AM
society also we are suffering from extremely defective leadership. All
of today’s so-called leaders in AM are flooded with groupist sentiments
and factional agendas.

Here below is clear testimonial of the drastic maladies that occur when
our Marga leadership is in the hands of a few groupists. By reading the
below, it becomes quite clear that groupists are not reliable.


Before, investigating the case studies below, we should attune ourselves
to the overall working style of groupist leaders.

We must keep in mind that their main intention and desire is to grab
more and more power – irregardless of anything else. And the easiest way
to hoard power is to surround oneself with spineless individuals who can
be easily controlled. And the best way to find such spineless people is
to seek out those Wts who have badly fallen from the code of conduct and
say to them, “You will now work for me, but should you ever cross me
then I will expose your failings in front of all.” And then they put
those degraded souls in top posts.

Group leaders – all of them – regularly resort to this type of nefarious
strategy. By this way they can ensure that they will keep their power.

The main operative principle is that the people around them are their
stooges – and such stooges will never challenge their bosses for power
nor point out any wrongdoing in the leadership.

Stooges are stooges – i.e. meek people who are content to be fed and
clothed – all the while basking in their own degradation, safe that
their group leader will protect them so long as they themselves are
loyal to the chief.

Such a relationship works well for both the group leader and their stooges.

For this reason, top factional chiefs employ this type of trick time and
again as a means to build and protect their stature.

Along the way, all traces of justice, integrity, honesty, and dynamism
utterly slip away from the upper echelons of our AM society. It is the
common margiis and sincere Wt’s who suffer the ill effects.

As you will see below, this type of corruption is rampant amongst all
the group leaders of each of the main factions: B group, Ranchi, and EC.

Only by making others aware of the problem – raising the collective
consciousness – can this situation then be solved. Through strong
circumstantial pressure, the current leaders will either rectify
themselves or be forced to run away and hide. That will pave the way for
true, moral leadership in our Marga.



Sarvatmananda has placed Kalyanaeshvarananda in the trusted post of PRS
(Public Relations Secretary) because Sarvatmananda has Dada K in the
palm of his hand. If Kalyaneshvarananda were to ever support any other
group or fail to tow the party line, then he’s be in big, big trouble.
Sarvatmananda would expose him to the bone.

What is it that Sarvatmananda would expose? The following.

(Note: Many of the news and events in this letter are very recent
happenings. This first case study is an older crime that has long been
kept hidden, that is why it is still pertinent.)

Early on, Kalyaneshvarananda was posted in Kashmir and he fell in love
with a young margii sister who happened to be married already.
Nonetheless, Kalyaneshvarananda and this young female expressed their
attraction for one another in secret. And to be true to her feelings,
this innocent young girl opted to divorce her husband and only pursue
her affair with Kalyaneshvarananda.

In the course of things, Dada K got her pregnant and this margii sister
gave birth to a baby girl. Kalyaneshvarananda took an active role in
raising his daughter and true to form she looks exactly like her father.
The resemblance is remarkable. Of course the local margiis noticed the
similarity, but they could never imagine that really this girl was
Dadaji’s daughter because Kalayaneshvarananda was being very secretive
and because margiis had implicit faith that no Wt would do such an awful
and deceitful thing and still walk around in uniform as if he is one sadhu.

Anyway, as the young baby grew up, then Dada K was vigilant to find a
proper husband for his daughter and he ultimately got her married to one
fine man.

Kalayaneshvarananda managed all of this in seceret, i.e. underground.
The truth never came to the fore.

But Sarvatmananda is well aware of all of this. That is why he has been
keeping Dada K in his hip pocket and garlanded him with the important
post of PRS. Because should the world ever find out about Dada K’s
secret, then his reputation would be ruined. With this silent threat in
hand, Sarvatmananda has been able to control and manipulate Dada K each
and every moment.

So Sarvatmananda has exploited Kalyaneshvarananda’s weakness and given
him a key post, because in return Sarvatmananda knows that Dada K’s
position is like one worm, helpless to do anything at all. By this way
Sarvatmananda is able to rule as he likes.

Actually all of this is quite typical. Sarvatmananda has long used such
trickery to manage his career. There are any number of cases and examples.

Now let’s examine a more recent circumstance in another group.



We all know that the post of COS (Central Office Secretary) is a
cherished position and generally commands a lot of respect and prestige.
The current PRS of the Ranchi faction is Citsvarupananda and his boss is
Rudrananda. Let’s take a look at how Dada C came to be COS.

As many may or may not know, Citsvarupananda has a long and notorious
history with girls. It seems that whenever he even sees a female, his
entire glandular system would go haywire (i.e. crazy) and
Citsvarupananda would become totally blind and infatuated. His conscious
mind would not work, i.e. “out to lunch”.

In and around Bombay, this weakness of Citsvarupananda was well known to
everyone. That is why he was never given a high post. And when he got
posted outside to GT sector – where ladies are known to be scantily clad
with lots of skin showing – then Citsvarupananda was running around like
a mad dog. He would see all the half-naked young girls and start jumping
in all kinds of ways. Finally, there was no other option than to bring
Citsvarupananda back to India.

Till recently, for the aforesaid reasons, he was always given a lower
posting in India.

All that changed when Rudrananda decided he needed a new stooge for a
top post. In that way, suddenly Citsvarupananda’s degraded ways actually
became a selling point and his resume became like gold. With such a
notorious history, he would be easy to control. Such a person could
never raise his voice or protest any wrong. Thus Rudrananda – being the
clever man that he is – seized the opportunity. He placed the
characterless Citsvarupananda in the top chair of COS.

The move has worked well for Rudrananda in that Dada C is a good stooge,
but there has been some fallout and damage control with the margiis.

Just recently, Citsvarupananda couldn’t control his vrttis and overcome
with lust he grabbed and strongly kissed one very young margii daughter.
The poor young girl was horrified that this aged sannyasis could betray
her trust and dishonor her in this way and she went to her father
completely frightened and upset and told him everything. The father of
the girl became totally irate – furious.

Till that time, the father had been a strong support of Ranchi so he
quickly contacted Acting GS of Ranchi, i.e. Svarupananda. The father
complained bitterly to Svarupananda about the poor dealing of

In response, Svarupananda has tried to cover-up the entire scandal. He
just scolded the margii father and threatened him to keep mum. So the
whole situation is quite disgusting and grotesque. One margii girl has
been shamed & tortured and lost all faith in sannyasis, yet Rudrananda
and Svarupananda are not taking any measures against her attacker
because Citsvarupananda he is an ideal stooge. Thus the Ranchi kingpins
(Rudrananda & his buddy Svarupananda) are protecting Dada C and at the
same time leveraging their weight against this margii father to keep him

Thus still, Citsvarupananda has been able to happily retain his chair of

Those are all the details of this scandal. But here are some more facts
that relate to the situation. Svarupananda has allied himself to the
powerful Rudrananda in hopes of one day becoming PP and side by side
Citsvarupananda is the diiksa bhai of Rudrananda. Thus both of these
people exist with the sole intention of serving and pleasing Rudrananda.
So Rudrananda is not at all inclined to discipline them at all – rather
he is happy with the situation. Especially when Rudrananda is gathering
his forces and keeping everyone class as he prepares to kick out

Before moving on to the scandals in EC, let’s first take a moment to
examine the current power play brewing in the Ranchi faction HQ.


Rudrananda has all his cards in place and is on the verge of ousting
Nigamananda from the Ranchi camp. At present, Rudrananda has all his
stooges in place at the central and sectorial levels. And Rudrananda
wants Nigamananda out as Dada N did not help him become PP. Internally,
Nigamananda knew that Rudrananda is himself a brahmin and carries a
strong brahmin sentiment. So Nigamananda understood well that if
Rudrananda became PP then Rudrananda would do ethnic cleansing on
Bengalis, Orriya, Non-Indians and he will only keep brahmins in AM. That
was Nigamananda’s fear – so he did not support Rudrananda’s claim to
become PP.

Because of all this Rudrananda wants to ruin and destroy Nigamananda.

And Rudrananda has all the pieces in place. In a very crafty manner, he
has made Nigamananda look bad in front of everyone, while he himself
(i.e. Rudrananda) shines as if he is some type of sadhu. Whereas,
Nigamananda’s face has become totally black and he sits alone now in
isolation. With one big kick, he will soon be ousted from the Ranchi camp.


By all of the above it is quiet clear how Sarvatmananda and Rudrananda
have their stooges in place to support their own claim to power. And
even though these stooge succumb to all kinds of degrading behavior,
still they keep their top posts because their band leaders need such
brainless and spineless people in order to keep their power. So it is
all one dirty, endless cycle.

And the sole cause behind it all is the groupist mentality.



The situation with EC is quite similar, though it plays out in a
slightly different manner. Because of the power dynamics in EC, it is
the leader himself how is indulged.

Everyone on earth knows well that Tiirthananda (the EC leader in NY) has
a long history with Didi Sumantrita. They go together to the movies,
frolick like teenage lovers in the shopping malls, and often stay
together in hotels. These two lovers even sometimes disappear together
for days on end without telling anyone. Their infatuation and behavior
is well known to everyone.

But they – certain Wts and ACB margiis – do not do or say anything
because Tiirthananda is the one who gives them their money and post.
They know that if they take action against Tiirthananda then he will not
lend his support to them anymore.

That is also the reason why Anand Giita keeps mum – otherwise she knows
she will not get any $$$.

All in all, many females & some wts are fed up with Dada T yet they
stand in support of Tiirthananda as they think he is the one who can
bring change. But when again they think more deeply those same females
get very bitter.



Now see how Tiirthananda uses the same operative tools as Sarvatmananda
and Rudrananda.

Tiirthananda has conveniently made Nabhaniilananda DPS (Dharma Pracar
Secretary). Dada N has a big name and a big post, primarily because he
is involved only in doing own pracar – not the pracara of AM ideology.

When in Manila sector, Nabhanillananda feel into a love-making affair
with a sister – and that is not the only isolated case either. This Dada
has a colourful history in this arena of sister relations.

Yet after this mega blunder, Tiirthananda made him DPS, a very
prestigious post. Because Tiirthananda understand that this is a
convenient and strategic way to run NY sector.

And all along, Nabhaniilananda is still doing the same type of thing –
running here and there with young margii girls and boys. Still Dada N
thinks that he himself is a teenager – frolicking about and getting into

The margii children have love for Baba and are growing into veritable
sadhakas, while Nabhanillananda is just using his stature to cash in on
his desires. He is more careful and sly in NY than he was in Manila –
that is the only difference.

All the while, this is well known to his boss Tiirthananda, but
Tiirthananda knows how to grease the wheel and take hold of the sector.

Those with a rational mind are saying that Tiirthananda has learned well
from his mentors / competition, Sarvatmananda and Rudrananda.


Now take a look at how EC is handling things outside of NY.

Some may recall Dada Krsnasundarananda, an Ex-Wt of India birth who left
the Marga around 12 years ago while in Suva sector.

This Dada was was characterless from the very beginning as he was always
having many girlfriends during his WT life. Eventually He left from WT
ship and got engaged with one lady in Australia. He stayed in that kind
life for 12 year.

Now EC has again made him an avadhuta, without even retraining him,
taking measure for rectification, nor giving him punishment. Why?
Because EC is anxious to build their numbers & cadre in any way
possible, regardless if one is a moralist or not.

So today, this Krsnasundarananda has magically appeared on the scene and
is working in Orissa plus he gave a big lecture in Copenhagen at the
Prout conference. Sadly, poor innocent margiis intently listened to the
“great spiritual discourse” from the immoral mouth of this degraded Dada.

Those how know the his history are joking how EC has brought one more
Tiirthananda type of fellow into their group.


Make no mistake, there are a number of very good Wts in our Marga. Even
then it cannot be denied that many in the upper echelons have suffered
and indulged in all kinds of failings and weaknesses. Because of this
they are unable to check other workers.

Listen to this story:

The Sevadal chief Liilabodhananda bought a big, beautiful flat in Bombay
– a very expensive place. And Liilabodhananda is keeping one women there
– his lover. Central even knows this is going on but still nobody wants
to say anything to him. This Dadaji is misutilizing organisational money
and power, but when groupism is in vogue who will tell him? Nobody
because few if any have the moral force or courage and most of them
harbor this same type of black history and wish to keep their story
hidden. In that case why risk their own status by pointing out someone
else. Just let the dirt be as is. That is the shameful culture that is
prevalent now in our Marga – all because of groupism and the fight for

The end result of all these shenanigans is the sheer loss of moral force
and the total degradation of our Wt cadre. Because when groupism itself
thrives then rather than being rectified and uplifted by dharmic
supervisors, workers with poor conduct are exploited and allowed to
continue their misdeeds. Such stooges become the loyal companions, or
more precisely, victims of group leaders.

We are all learning the hard way that groupists are not at all reliable
– we cannot depend upon them to lead our organisation into a new era of
dharmic activity and sentient peace.


Here Baba gives us a key way how to solve the problem.

Baba says, “Regarding the Sixteen Points, it was said that a’ca’rya/a’s
or senior persons would see if you were observing them properly or not.
Similarly, I gave a directive to all that they should keep watch on one
another. No one will exempt anyone else regarding the Sixteen Points.”

Baba says, “…Inspire those who are liars and criminals to live honest
lives by pointing out their defects. This is the only spiritual approach
to punish wrongdoers…” (A’nanda Va’nii #8)

The only way out of the current organisational crisis is good conduct,
i.e. following Baba’s teachings, cultivating ideological understanding,
and sharing with others what is going on.

It is time to turn over a new leaf. We must no longer allow group
leaders to “reward” Wts with loose behaviour by granting them high posts
so that that worker can then become the slave or stooge of that group
leader. This debased approach is not the way.

All must be responsible for following 16 Pts and held accountable. This
will bring about their welfare and the regeneration of our AM society.

The mere existence of any group – B, Ranchi, EC etc – is a veritable
threat to the well-being of our Marga.

Let me repeat:

Only by making others aware of the problem – raising the collective
consciousness – can this situation then be solved. Through strong
circumstantial pressure, the current leaders will either rectify
themselves or be forced to run away and hide. That will pave the way for
true, moral leadership in our Marga.


By Baba’s grace the same recipe outlined for building a healthy human
society 3500 years ago is still true today.

Baba says, “The guiding factor behind the creation of the Maha’bha’rata
was dharma – the creation of a great human society in which there would
be peace, happiness, fraternity and no poverty.” (Disc MHB)

That is Baba’s teaching. Only by upholding dharma can a great society be
built. Hiding misdeeds and manipulating others for one’s own power will
only lead to turmoil. And not only that, in the end the truth will be
revealed anyway.

We should all be eager to follow a dharmic code of conduct and encourage
others to do the same.

Boon For All

Baba says, “Just as the diseased body organs can be restored to normal
by administering medicines internally and externally, they can also be
healed more safely and more perfectly with the help of Yaogika asanas
and mudras. The aim of this book, therefore, is to make the general
public aware of the Yaogika methods of treating various illnesses. My
purpose is to let people cure themselves by practicing the a’sanas and
mudras described in this book.” (YT preface)

Note 1: In the above teaching from the preface of Yogic Treatment book,
Baba is guiding us that asanas & mudras are the most perfect way to cure
and heal the human body. Hence in Baba’s Yaogika Treatment book, these
practices– asanas and mudras– stand as the main pathway for overcoming
illness and attaining proper health. Whereas the other types of remedies
given are more of an auxiliary or secondary approach.

Note 2: Overall there is a lot of confusion about this as many
mistakenly think that the herbal remedies etc are the main way to cure
oneself. But that is not correct. Asanas and mudras are the most highly
regarded and recommended way.

Note 3: Another aspect to this discussion is that Baba’s own
introduction to this topic is completely unique. Whereby He is giving
special attention and particular emphasis to the goal or object of the
book– i.e. that asanas & mudras are the main component. Whereas in most
of His discourses, rarely or perhaps even never does He so vividly
highlight what the inner teaching is going to be.

PS Intro: In the second stanza of this song, the bhakta is talking
indirectly about himself using a flower as a reference or symbolism.
The inner meaning is that sadhaka is expressing how in the past his
devotional life was so sweet and blissful but now his sadhana has
become dry. So he is requesting Parama Purusa to “please grace me by
showering me with Your divine love.” That is the inner significance
of the second stanza of the below song.

O’ Baba, O’ Divine Entity, You are Alakha Purus’a [1]. You are
everywhere but I cannot see You. Baba, I am bound by so many limitations.
O Baba, please take me beyond the world of bondage to the kingdom of
divinity which is limitless & infinite. Please grace me with nirvakalpa
samadhi and make me one with You. Baba, You are beyond the relative
factors of space and time. You are Bha’va’tiita [2]. The mind cannot
think about You. Baba, You are nirgun’a, You are Gun’atiita [3].
You do not have any bondages or attributions; You are beyond all
the gun’as, beyond all the binding principles. Baba, please
grant me a wee-bit of Your cosmic grace.

Baba, please look once with Your grace compassion towards
that flower which was once saturated in sweetness but has since
lost all its fragrance. That very flower whose nectar is lost
and has withered away, please shower Your causeless grace and
again lovingly pull that flower close to You.

Baba, by Your grace I have come under Your divine shelter.
My everything is residing within You. Besides You I do not know
anyone or anything. By Your grace, I have surrendered my whole
existence at Your lotus feet. Baba, I have only one longing:
please remain ever-awake, eternally present, in my mind and heart.
Please grace me by remaining within me always, so that I can perceive You.

O’ Alakha Purusa, You are boundless and infinite, please grant
me nirvakalpa samadhi and take me to that divine world…

Notes for Prabha’s Samgiita #932:

(1) Alakha Purus’a: (‘Alakha’ means ‘invisible’; ‘Purusa’ means
‘Witnessing Entity’). Of all the infinite attributions and qualities
of Parama Purusa, one of which is that He is invisible and another
is that He witnesses everything. Theoretically, we know that Parama
Purus’a is everywhere, but we cannot see or perceive Him with our
crude organs. That is why one of the names of Parama Purus’a is
Alakha Purus’a. He is residing everywhere but we cannot perceive Him.

(2) Bha’va’tiita: In His stance of bhavatiita (bha’va means ideation,
atiita means beyond), Parama Purusa is beyond all physical manifestations
and beyond all thought conceptions.

Baba says, “Parama Purus’a, the Supreme Reality, is beyond all speech and
thought: He is beyond the reach of the vocal cord. So He is bha’va’tiita
[“beyond bha’va”]…The more one thinks of His infinite qualities, the more
one becomes speechless, the more deeply one becomes absorbed in Him.” (NSS, Disc:19)

(3) Gun’a’tiita: One of the infinite characteristics of Parama Purusa
is that He is beyond the gun’as, beyond all the binding principles
like sa’ttvagun’a, rajogun’a, and tamogun’a.

Baba says, “Why is He beyond the scope of all attributions [binding principles]?
There are two reasons. One is that He is the creator of everything,
so He is the creator of qualifications also, attributions also.
So how can He be within the binding scope of those principles, of those
qualifications? And certainly He is beyond the reach of these qualifications.
In Sam’skrta, qualification or attribution is called “gun’a”, and He is
called “Gun’a’tiita”, that is, beyond the bondage of any gun’a.” (AV-12)

In these current times in our AM society it has become the ‘fashion of
the day’ to “speak out” against the various ruling groups. Because now,
after so many years of injustices, it has become commonly accepted that
those in power are corrupt and going against Baba’s teachings.

In such circumstances, many opportunists are now trying to captialise on
the situation by also “speaking out” and saying something– hoping that
this will enhance their own prestige & position etc.

But in the past these same opportunists were the very bootlickers and
arms & legs of those ruling exploiters. So to see everything in a
straight way and get the real picture, we must apply our vivek. By that
way we will easily be able to understand ‘who is who’ and ‘what is what’.


Since 1990, there have been so many who blindly supported one or another
of the crooked ruling regimes. First when Sarvatmananda was at the
helm, then he had hundreds and thousands rallying around him. When he
said something then so many would jump according to his command. That is
the way it was working those days.

And in this manner of dealing various goody-goodies and bootlickers got
rewarded with prestigious posts as they became ACB members, core-group
members, and tattvikas etc. And in return these goody-goody post-holders
stood by Sarvatmananda’s every word and tried to smash down any truly
revolutionary margii who came forward to oppose Sarvatmananda’s nasty
tricks. In this harsh cycle, many rational margiis faced terrible
torture and abuse. Because those goody-goodies acted as the blind
soldiers for Sarvatmananda’s heinous regime.

And when Sarvatmananda’s era was over, then those same goody-goodies
and opportunists jumped ship and latched onto the next ruling regime.
And they “grew” accordingly. Under Rudrananda’s years of rule, those
same bootlickers of Sarvatmanandji graduated and became Rudrananda’s foot
stools. In that way those who were tattvikas became fake family acaryas
or judiciary board members. Or they got some other reward. This is
especially true in our overseas sectors like NY etc.

Here the point is that no matter what the situation, all the while these
bootlickers were eagerly defending and carrying out the orders of the
ruling groupist Dadas, whether it was B or H group– one groupist or other. In
that way things were taking shape, and in that way many “walked into” an
array of prestigious posts and became ACB chieftains and fake family
acaryas etc.

So now, when mayhem has come to the fore in Centre, to further enhance
their prestige and advance their resume, these same cowardly people–
these same opportunists– are posing as great heroes and speaking out
against the rulers. Because the atmosphere has changed and it is
socially acceptable for such opportunists to grab a megaphone and oppose
any ruling groupist regime. They will not lose their post by doing so.
In this way so many boot-lickers have magically transformed themselves
overnight into so-called revolutionaries. And they are filling the
internet with their tall-talks and cries for justice. This is the
hypocritical scene these days.


To further clarify the situation, we should carefully see why these
opportunists were keeping mum before as well as why they are now
“boldly” speaking out. The root cause behind it all is their own
cowardly nature and selfish personae. See for yourself:

In this past these ACB type of boot-licking margiis were not very
self-confident and they were terrified of going against “Centre”. Plus
what crumbs Centre was giving them they were satisfied with. If they got
appointed to a sectorial committee etc, then they were pleased with
that. And they felt that they got what they deserved.

But now after years of licking the feet of different group bosses and
after getting so many rewards for their allegiance, the ‘hunger’ of
these opportunists has grown. Having gotten some post and position they
thinking that now they are something great and deserve better.

Plus they see that now when chaos has erupted in Centre, it is more or
less “safe” to speak out as there will be no real negative consequences.
In that way these opportunists have begun yelping like a bunch of hungry
street dogs. That is why suddenly they are painting themselves as high

The overall scenario being that by this way– through their tall talks
of revolution– these ACB type of opportunists are hoping and praying
that others will honor them as being great heroes and dharmikas. That is
one reason why they are coming forward these days. Plus since that they
have gotten some post in the past, they think they themselves are now
important and deserving of more and more prestige. So that is the second
reason why all of a sudden they are barking out loud. And the third
reason is simply that it is now safe to do so. The ruling group is in no
position to “discipline” or “punish” anyone. In that cushy atmosphere,
even spineless goody-goodies can muster up the courage to speak out.


But no matter how much they speak, one thing becomes perfectly clear.
Namely that the words of these goody-goody opportunists are totally 100%
devoid of any ideological value. Such opportunists are speaking only out
of their own desire to get some higher post and prestige. That is all.
They are not advancing the fact that Baba’s discourses should be printed
in full, or that Prabhat Samgiita should be properly recorded, or that
the rights of general margiis should be restored, or that various dogmas
like “Mahaprayan” should be rooted out. They are not championing any of
these dharmic causes. Just these pseudo ACB type of margiis and
goody-goodies are flapping their tongues and making noise out of their
own selfish desire to get more post and be heralded as some
revolutionary tantric soul. When in reality, the fact stands that they
are nothing but hypocritical cowards.


One other astonishing fact is that these fake revolutionaries who are
sitting on the ACB core group do not express an ounce of repentance for
their dirty past when they themselves were the ones who tortured and
humiliated good margiis who came forward to oppose Centre’s injustices.

Because the history stands that since 1994 various courageous and brave
margiis opposed the various injustices and wrongdoings committed by the
ruling groups, and it was these very fake ACB type of revolutionaries of
today who were outcasting these good margiis and spitting in their
faces. Being the bootlickers of either Sarvat or Rudra, this was going
on for years and years. Where those on the ACB were rudely and harshly
ostracizing and putting egg on the faces of those sincere margiis who
were raising the call for justice. This was the ongoing scene,
especially in overseas sectors like NY, Suva etc.

Yet today, not so far as one syllable is being uttered by these
bootlickers about their own dark past and what harm they caused to
innocent margiis. Such opportunists have yet to utter a word of repentance.

That is why, after seeing the matter from top to bottom, anyone can
recognise that these opportunists are just fake revolutionaries whose
misguided actions have nothing to do with dharma or justice. Just they
are in it for their own stomach– nothing more.

So no matter how much they write on the internet who is going to give
credence to their endless flapping. Plus when the situation becomes even
a little bit difficult, then such hypocritical opportunists will again
fade into the woodwork. In that case who is going to trust them.



Here Baba reveals the nature of such ACB type of fake revolutionaries
who are selfishly barking to advance their own cause. In the past they
pounded on the face of innocent margiis who were seeking justice, yet
now these opportunists have grabbed the megaphone without expressing a
word about their shady dealings– past or present etc. See here Baba’s

Baba says, “There are a few opportunists whose very nature is to exploit
their fellow humans. But they will not confess this openly.” (NHNS-1,
‘Liberation of Intellect’)

And that is exactly what we are seeing today with regards to the current
batch of fake revolutionaries. They never admit that in the past they
were the top bootlickers of Centre who stomped on the heads of innocent
margiis etc.

Here below Baba further reveals that such opportunists who have suddenly
“transformed” themselves into fake revolutionaries will not last long.
Their days are numbered.

Baba says, “The opportunists who utilise a situation to create rifts in
the society will not get any scope to do so when exploitation is
removed.” (AFPS-3)


Finally, may we all pay heed to Baba’s stern guideline about these
tall-talking ACB type of opportunists & board members who are now
barking about revolution.

Baba says, “Do not be misled by anyone’s tall talk. Judge merit by
seeing the performance.” (CC-2, ‘Society’, pt# 27a)

In sum, we should understand who is who by looking at their conduct and
not by their words. Following this dharmic guideline of Baba, it then
becomes quite clear that those ACB type of opportunists and overseas
pseudo tattvikas who are suddenly waving the banner of revolution are
nothing but sheer hypocrites. By their duplicitous actions it is all
quite apparent. No need to mention their names here; we all know them well.


By Baba’s infinite grace these weak-minded opportunists will shirk in
the dharmic rise of the crimson dawn. And By His grace that grand era is
now upon us.

Baba says, “Today the clattering chariot wheels are turning. That din is
making the hearts of the opportunists quake. This is the decree of fate.
The pace of change is fast accelerating.” (SC-10)


With Baba’s blessing all righteous minded margiis and wts are coming
together step by step, ushering in that era of neo-humanism and forming
one human society. At the same time the hypocritical and selfish ways of
the opportunists will be revealed. This is Baba’s ultimate decree.

Baba says, “The opportunists tried in the past, are trying at present
and will try even in the future to fulfil their narrow desires by
keeping the human race disunited. By severely reproaching this
opportunistic craftiness through your noble deeds, you draw nigh the
unknown strangers living far away and build a healthy world-based human
family. Ignoring the brute forces, the sky-kissing arrogance, hypocrisy,
immorality and glib outbursts of the conceited people, go ahead towards
your cherished goal. The blessing of Parama Purus’a shall be with you
alone.” (A’nanda Va’nii #40)



The day is not far when all remnants of groupism will be gone and our AM
society will be one. This is Baba’s grand blessing upon us all.

Baba says, “Smashing all these barriers, we shall all sit and eat and
drink together in the same compound, bound by the ties of one human
family.” (NSS: Disc #2)

Honey is Eye-Medicine

Baba says, “Floral nectar can be collected from lotus and is very good
for all kinds of eye diseases, including retinal detachment…To extract
the honey, you have to employ the same method as doctors use to extract
blood. This is because many ants and insects feed on the honey. A
syringe can extract it without getting clogged up.” (PNS-16, p. 33-34)

Subject: Why EC Thrives in NY Sector


“Esecho a’ma’r ghare, krpa’r pasara’ ha’te kare…” (PS 3233)


Baba, I do not have any quality of my own– neither have I done any
good work nor do I do proper sadhana. But even then with a deep yearning
in my heart I go on remembering and calling You. Baba, by Your own mercy
and compassion, You have come to my abode holding a basket of grace.
Baba, Your divine advent in my home is not due to my calling– it is
solely due to Your infinite love. Baba, You have taken so much trouble
to come to me. Baba, You are so gracious.

Baba, You are the Controller of this entire universe. In the blueness
of the sky, the meteor is showering its effulgence for You– to serve You,
to please You. Baba, the brilliant stars of the vast, expansive sky are
chanting Your divine name and singing that: ‘You are the Divine Helper,
the Divine Saviour, of everyone’. Baba, everywhere, all the time,
You shower Your causeless grace on everyone.

Baba, whatever I have achieved in life is because of Your grace. I do
not have any merit of my own. Just You have graciously You showered me
with Your abundant compassion and have filled my entire existence. But
unfortunately I did not give You anything. Baba, by Your grace, today I
have placed fresh flower blossoms along with my entire being at Your
lotus feet. Baba, I am surrendering myself at Your alter. Please make my
life successful by making me Yours…


We all want to see our Ananda Marga strong and vibrant across this
entire earth. That means no remnants of groupism anywhere and all the
sectors moving ahead in coordinated fashion, led by a dharmic central
leadership that all respect.

Soon we will be at such a place – but we are not there yet.

Here is a brief look at what is happening in one of our sectors, i.e.
NY, as well as how this situation came to be.

We will also review recent events from this summer’s sectorial retreat.


We all know that recently (July 20 or so) the NY ACB issued a statement
declaring that they solely acknowledge Tiirthananda’s administration in
NY sector.

As we all know, Tiirthananda is a leading figure of the EC faction.

Common logic tells us then that EC controls NY Sector. Most likely, such
a statement is not going to be a surprise to anyone.

Before moving ahead, it should be acknowledged that some of the main
members of that NY ACB also signed off on a joint statement by senior
margiis at a global meeting this weekend (Aug 1 – 2) declaring that they
do not support groupism in any form.

Go figure.

How such a statement – i.e. declaring themselves above all forms of
groupism – can possibly be in concert with the prior declaration taken
by NY sector ACB – i.e. to be 100% part of the Tiirthananda faction – is
quite remarkable.

Yet some NY ACB members got their names placed on both declarations.

It is almost like a bunch of cannibals declaring that from now on they
are going to be vegan, as blood slowly drips down their chin from their
latest meal. Such a crew of cannibals could make such a proclamation,
but who is going to believe them.

We can all then form our own opinions about the sanctity of the NY ACB,
amidst the whirlwind of their recent declarations.

Suffice to say here that the NY Sector ACB and EC are essentially one –
there is no difference between the two.

Of course aligning with Ranchi or Kolkata would also be a sign of
groupism. The only way to proceed is to align oneself with ideology. But
the NY ACB did not choose this – they selected EC instead.

Now let us see how all this came to pass.



How it that Tiirthananda has become such a leading fixture in NY.

Tiirthananda did not have the keys to the sector; he was not a major
land holder in the area; he did not work here for decades and decades.

Yet somehow, he has taken control of the sector and gotten the undying
loyalty of the “leading” margiis in NY.

How did this happen? What was his technique?

He did this with one simple ploy. He essentially said, “This is your
sector – take control of it – and run it the way you wish.”

With this one statement – even though it is against Baba’s
organisational policy – Tiirthananda got the sector. Within a short
while, with Tiirthananda’s help and encouragement, the NY ACB started
changing the NY sector by-laws, giving themselves power to select their
own SS. And so many other decisions and actions they have taken.

When in fact Baba’s system is that each sector be controlled by Centre.
By falling away from Baba’s system, our organisation only becomes more
splintered and divided. Having one group of exploiters in Centre is bad,
yet manageable. We can overcome that. But having all kinds of power
oriented people breaking every sector and city into their own kingdom is
too much. Picking up the pieces of that mess and gluing everything back
together is no easy task.

Yet that is what EC is doing – divide and rule, just keeping their piece
of the pie.


Many say that the majority of NY ACB members have been dying to grab
some stake of the power for years and years.

So when Tiirthananda gave them the opportunity, then it was a
dream-come-true. Their years of frustration came to an end and their
longing came to fruition. They got what they wanted and they were not
going to give it up. And to ensure that they were not going to lose
their new found power, they crowned Tiirthananda (& EC) as king.

So it was a match made in heaven.

Tiirthananda gave the ACB power to drive the sector according to their
selfish desire – i.e the power they always longed for, and in return,
Tiirthananda became their undisputed leader. Both sides think they got a
good deal, though Tiirthananada really came out on top. Because he has
made NY a stronghold of EC.

That is why every night Tiirthananda goes to bed smiling thinking how NY
Sector is such fertile ground for his groupist plans and programs. Most
margiis in NY are totally innocent and fine, only it is a few top-dog
ACB members who have been the perfect agents for Tiirthanada’s trickery
and power mongering.

In return, family acaryaships are given out like water in NY sector.
Regardless of one’s qualifications on points of dharma, one can join the
ranks. All that is needed is money, a pledge of groupism, and / or
simply becoming a “yes man”. Then one can sign-up. By joining the ranks,
Tiirthananda gains yet another spokesperson in his camp, on his behalf.

Such that after the summer sectorial retreat, those ACB members will be
so audacious to state who their SS is – i.e. Tiirthananda – as well as
who their SWWS (Ananda Vibha) and SOS (Ranjiitananda) are, both of whom
part and parcel of the Tiirthananda package.

For years now, this is the way the Tiirthananda show has been running.
By offering power to margiis, he has become king of NY.

Two years ago, a few reports were written about this very phenomenon:

And still this is true today.


Here are a few happenings from the recent NY summer sectorial retreat at
Ananda Kanan. Again, no group is good. Adhering to Baba’s teachings is
the only antidote to the factional calamity that has befallen our Marga.

Yet EC always tries paint things in their favour as if their only aim is
unity – when in fact their whole entire modus operendi is power, power,
& still more power.

Tiirthananda is a smart cookie and here is how he used the retreat to
further reel in NY sector.

1) The NY summer retreat was totally controlled by EC – period. Acaryas
from the Ranchi side were mere shadows at the retreat. But they do it in
a coy way where most do not realise that Ananda Kanan is none other than
“Club EC”.

And EC continues to bring their own people (i.e Wts) into the sector.

This time they brought Ananda Raganuga and Ananda Kaustubha. It is well
known that Didi Ananda Raganuga is a pet of Tiirthananda and Sumantrita.
Plus Ananda Kastubha who was posted in HK sector has come NY sector to

So EC is filling NY land with their own people.

2) To ensure that those ACB / family acaryas of NY were satisfied,
Tiirthananda gave them all a piece of the pie during the retreat. In
particular, fake family acaryas like Dhyanesh from Austin, Vivek from
Albany, & Devanishtha from North Hampton were all given some power in
the retreat, as were other key ACB members.

3) Tiirthananda very successfully mesmerized all Didis and margiis by
cooking for them every day. This was a truly excellent groupist
maneuver. It is his clever quality to befool others when behind all his
actions there is some selfish purpose. He does not help only for the
sake of helping.

That is the long history of Tiirthananda.

Whether when posted to GT sector, Delhi sector or wherever, he has
always hovered close to the power, because that was all he ever wanted.
That is why he used to snuggle up to Rudrananda and Saravatmananda,
becuase he always hoped to get some power. And that is why he eventually
left them as well.

So Tiirthananda’s cooking at the retreat was not service but a keen,
well thought out political maneuver.

4) In terms of being savvy in public, Vimalananda, Ranchi’s selection
for SSNY, is just the opposite. He never came out to mingle with margiis
and acaryas. And there is one big reason behind that. He feels a big
inferiority complex in front of Tiirthananda. There was time when he and
Tiirthananda were planning against Central Ranchi. Ranchi understood
that and they immediately made Vimalanandaji SS, so as not to lose him.
Still to this day Vimalananda cannot hold his own against Tiirthananda.
Both have betrayed themselves against AM teachings, and Vimalananda also
broke his black pact with Tiirthananda. Still he has a complex in front
of Tiirthananda – his mind becomes weak and his body sweats and shakes.

5) After the NY summer retreat was over there was RDS, supposedly. Dada
Vimalananda the SS from Ranchi side – wanted to announce something. But
Dada Tiirthananda and Ranjiitananda did not allow him to announce anything.

Note: As described above, Vimalannda is like a wet rag in front of
Tiirthananda, i.e. no backbone.

After almost all acaryas left with Tiirthananda, then Vimalanandaji
announced RDS.

The next day EC group did not come to attend RDS. They separated
themselves from the acaryas of Ranchii. Ranjiitananda (EC SOS) announced
separate sessions, not RDS. So they did not have RDS. They named theirs
as a relaxing session. And they announced the new postings in their group:

Prankrshnanda – SES
Nabhniilananda – DPS
Phalashuddhanansda- PRS
Ananda Kaustubha- GP
Ananda Vikirna – MU Monetrey Trainer of LFT
Ananda Shraddha – DSL NY
Ananda Hariprana – (Out of Didi flow by trying to keep her as Didi by
keeping her with other Didis)

7) During the Ananda Kanan retreat, Dada Shubacetanananda was up to his
usual tricks. Dadaji lives inside the Ranchi faction but reports to EC.
Many times he was found talking to EC Dadas in private places. Dada S
tried to be very careful – and he was careful – but even then one cannot
always hide. Dada’s duty is to weaken the acaryas from the Ranchi side.
His orders by EC are, by hook or by crook, weaken those acaryas and we
(EC) will give you support, i.e. money.

8) Finally, there is the side story of Ranjiitananda who has declared
himself to be a Purodha. He has many colorful attributes but it must not
be forgotten that he betrayed one Dada’s trust and took all the money
from that Dada’s inheritance. And now Dada Ranjiitananda is enjoying
that money for his own selfish study, building up his future.


So we can see what kind of shape NY sector is in. Again, most of the
margiis in NY are totally innocent and desperately want to see a sweet,
devotional expression in AM.

But with Tiirthananda at the helm and the ACB firmly in his grip –
though ironically they think they are totally independent – things are
not so rosy.

That means, groupism not ideology is at the fore. And that does not bode
well and it demands our total effort to overcome it.


By Baba’s grace, all kinds of great things will unfold. Groupism will
disappear as margiis and field workers become more and more pointed on
ideology. Then the so-called unity group / EC will not be in power,
rather true unity will be formed according to Baba’s mandate.

Baba says, “Human unity is purely an ideological unity, which means
unity in the psychic sphere. Where there is psychic unity, physical
unity will also occur. In the realm of unity, unity is always psychic –
ideological unity means unity in the subtlest level of the mind.
However, psychic or ideological unity may be affected if we encourage
the exploitation of one group by another. So to avoid this there should
not be any scope for exploitation [groupism] in society.” (PNS-15)



Here is an interesting observation that one margii made.

In all the various countries of the globe, today’s hypocritical
politicians pledge justice and equality to the people. We have all heard
their chants. But they are not so hypocritical to also declare that they
are not part of any group. Rather they openly state the name of the
political party. That is their group and they freely admit it to one and

But those NY ACB members who attended the unity meeting of Aug 1 – 2
take it a step further. They pledge justice and equality to all, AND
side by side they have the audacity to state that they themselves are
the pioneers of neo-humanism and that they are above all kinds of
groupism. When in fact, for years and years they have all been sucking
up to various groupist powers. Indeed, they got their present title from
this or that groupist.

That is why many in my unit were smiling when the read the recent
declaration by such unity meeting attendees. Their entire rise to post
and power has been due to their favorable relations with group leaders,
yet now they promote themselves as the heroes of neo-humanism by
declaring, “We wholly renounce all forms of groupism in all sectors.”

On one email list, readers got duped by such tall talks and they become
totally excited and intoxicated by reading those words, as if groupism
was officially over, but those with a bit more balanced mind understand
what political play was at work.


The vast majority of people are good margiis in NY sector. There is no
doubt about that. Only a few have gotten caught in Tiirthananda’s web
due to lust for post and power.

First of all there are some like Vishvadeva, Ac Ciramita, and Ac
Vishvamitra who attend every peace / unity meeting imaginable just to
show face and gloat how they were there. They are some of the ones who,
on a global scale, purported themselves to be above all groupism. Yet in
their own home sector they are firmly rooted in one group or another’s

Then these others also play the groupist game to get power: Dhyanesh
from Austin, Vivek from Albany, & Devanishtha from North Hampton, and
there may be more.

Excellent Teaching but Difficult to Follow

Baba says, “You love your son; that is alright. But if he dies, you will
have immense grief. It is not true? Because a son is a finite entity, he
will not remain forever. He is bound to die one day. Leaving you in
boundless sorrow. but if you take your son to be a manifestation of
Brahma, you need not fear in constant fear of losing him, because Brahma
will never be lost. He is ever present surrounding you. This is the
spirit of renunciation or vaeragya.” (APH-4, p. 265)

Note: This above Baba’s divine teaching everybody knows, but in
practical life how far everyone follows, every person should look within
their own heart.
