== BABA’S FLYING MESSENGER ==

Namaskar,
As Ananda Margiis, the best memories and most beautiful experiences in
our life revolve around being with Baba– either through our dreams, in
our sadhana, or being in His physical proximity. All these remembrances
bring a wave of sweetness and bliss. And truly we are blessed to have
His personal touch in this life. That is nothing but His divine grace.

One of the greatest things about Baba is that everything He does is
aimed towards bringing us closer to Him. His teachings, His stories, His
affection, His scolding, His directives, and His humour are all done for
one special reason: So that we may be drawn closer to Him and realise
His infinite love.

In that way, everything He does is for our betterment and growth and
this following story leads in this very same direction.

“A FLYING BUFFALO HAS TOLD ME…”

We have all heard the line, ‘A flying buffalo or camel or lizard or
various other types of animals have come and whispered in my ear’. This
extremely humorous explanation was Baba’s way of telling us that He is
aware about each and every thing and that He is always with us– caring
and watching.

STORY ABOUT KAOSHIKII COMPETITION AT DMC

One time at DMC in April in Daltonganj, all the margiis and acaryas had
assembled and were excitedly waiting for Baba’s divine arrival into the
Pandal. The year was 1984. There was so much anticipation and so much
electricity in the air and our Marga was on the rise. Everyday Baba was
giving new teachings and every week more and more devotees were coming
from around the globe to be with Baba. The days of Emergency were now
long behind us and everything in AM was thriving. New people were
swarming into the Marga.

ALL WAITING FOR HIS ARRIVAL

So in that anxious moment when all were waiting for Baba’s august
presence, the pandal was filled with the devotional chanting of kiirtan.
And after every round as the kiirtan was sung, we are were sure that at
this moment Baba would make His arrival. But alas it was not to be. And
again the devotional longing would mount in kiirtan until the thought of
Him still not coming was unbearable. We were all lost in His thought and
His rhythm.

Then just as it seemed that the kiirtan would go on forever, there was a
massive call from the front of the pandal, ‘Parama Pita Baba Ki!’ and we
all shouted ‘Jai!”.

Still there was no physical sign of Baba’s arrival but we could feel
that any second He would come forth. Then again came the call ‘Parama
Pita Baba Ki’ and in unison everyone responded ‘Jai!’. This went on for
4 or 5 more rounds until the sound reached its peak and every cell of
everyone’s existence was totally focused on His coming.

BABA’S DIVINE ARRIVAL

And in that electrifying moment, Baba emerged from behind the stage and
did His folded hand blessing to all. A wave of bliss spread through the
mass of devotees who had gathered. And in a majestic way Baba walked
across the stage, using His cane in the most regal manner. Cries of,
‘Baba, Baba, Baba’ filled the air. And all the while there were Dadas
surrounding Him watching His each and every step.

When Baba reached the dais and turned to sit down, then immediately PA
Dada came forward and removed Baba’s shoes and helped get Baba
comfortably situated on His seat. Pillows were arranged and everything
was made neat and clean. A glass of water was offered to Baba and He
sipped gently from the glass taking a small amount of water.

Little by little, the sound in the Pandal began to lessen as all eyes
became fixed on Baba. Everyone was watching Him intently to see what
would happen next. Then in a joyful mood, Baba asked, ‘How is everyone?
Have you had enough to eat? Are you alright?’. And everyone responded,
‘Yes Baba’.

BABA’S FLYING MESSENGER & KAOSHIKII COMPETITION

Then came the call for brothers kaoshikii. Still at that time, kaoshikii
was relatively new, and everyone was learning to improve their rhythm
and form. So in that spirit, a kaoshikii competition was to be done in
front of Baba. So many brothers participated and Baba gently nodded
approvingly as they did their dance.

At that time, many of the margii sisters were thinking to themselves
that they would not have to dance kaoshikii today as they were not prepared.

So after the brothers finished their dance, then Baba look around and
everyone was waiting for the inevitable– for Him to request the sisters
to dance kaoshikii. But it did not happen. Baba delayed and the room was
quiet.

And then in the next moment, in Hindi Baba said, ‘A flying camel has
come and told me that the girls do not want to participate in the
kaoshikii competition’.

After saying this, then Baba was smiling and looking all around the
pandal and in response everyone started smiling and laughing.

Seeing this whole scene, then the sisters quickly came forward and said,
‘We want to participate in the kaoshikii competition’.

Then Baba replied, ‘As you like’.

And accordingly those sisters did their competition in kaoshikii and
Baba gave His approval.

BABA’S SPECIAL WAY IS ONE BOON FOR DEVOTEES

So during reporting and dharma samiiksa etc, and in various
circumstances, Baba would tell that, ‘A flying buffalo has told me…’.
This was His charming & sweet way of telling us that He is always with us.
In countless reportings He did like this.

By this expression, we are to understand that we are not alone and that
we cannot do anything in hidden or secret. We should always think that
He is watching. Through this approach, then the sadhaka will become pure
and sanctified as one will not indulge in negative things because they
will think that Baba is always watching.

And certainly, if one cultivates this habit and thinks that Baba is
always watching, then their real spiritual life starts. Furthermore,
when they start thinking in this manner all the 24 hrs, then they are
established in Brahmahood. In that stage they cannot do anything wrong.

Verily this entire process is one practical way of doing second lesson.
This process is also used in dhyana as well. Because a devotee serves
Parama Purusa then they should feel that He is watching.

WATCH OUT FOR AVIDYA MAYA

We know that human life is for sadhana but obstacles invariably come
from avidya maya. One or another trick of maya keeps the sadhaka blinded
and gives them the feeling that materialism is everything. And another
form of avidya maya pulls them away still further by giving them the
false notion that spirituality is meaningless and garbage. Indeed we all
have to be very careful about these two negative forms of avidya maya.

BABA’S BLESSING

By Baba’s grace when a sadhaka moves one step closer to Parama Purusa,
then one feels the presence of vidyamaya and inspiration comes in the
mind that, ‘human life is very short and my goal is Parama Purusa and I
want Him’.

When this feeling comes then the sadhaka rushes headlong to Parama
Purusa and in a very short span reaches Him. Then only does human life
become successful. In this entire approach, Guru’s grace is everything
so we should always beg for His grace. O’ Lord please be gracious.

Baba says, “The greatest human treasure is devotional sentiment,
devotional wonts. This devotional wealth must be preserved; otherwise
humanity will lose its most valuable possession. The people of the
present-day world have made considerable progress, so now they must not
permit this highest human treasure to be destroyed. Whenever we see that
the pressure of external circumstances threatens this life essence, we
should pray to the Supreme: ‘O Lord, please be kind enough to protect
our inner vitality from total destruction. Save us from the agony of
total loss’.” (NH-LOI)

Namaskar,
Rambabu

Note 1:        UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THE FLYING MESSENGER

First and foremost, it is the unquestioned truth that Parama Purusa knows everything.

And sure enough, there was one way for Baba to come forward and say, ‘I
know everything’. But this He did not like to do as it sounds a bit
arrogant in this present era. In the past however, Lord Krsna did
proclaim as such because the society was ready to listen. But in this
present era, Baba chose not to say like this.

Instead, Baba opted for a more indirect approach. So He employed the use
of one ‘messenger’ who would tell Him everything. Sometimes that
messenger was a flying camel, or a flying buffalo, or a flying lizard
etc. There were so many animals who ‘came to Baba as messengers’. This
was Baba’s chosen style.

Yet internally we all know that Baba knows everything and no one really
believes that the messenger– such as a flying camel– is something
real. So this is not something to take literally. It is just Baba’s
sweet way of telling us that He knows everything.

In the past however, people have taken things literally such as when
Veda Vyasa Deo told his stories and in turn the common people built
statues based on those tales. Obviously, this type of misunderstanding
should not occur in this present era. We should clarify the point now
that Baba was just joking and those flying camel messengers were not
real. Otherwise in the future people will take it seriously and make
statues of those flying buffaloes etc. So this dogma should not be
allowed to happen.

And it won’t so long as we all know and propagate that those flying
animals were not real, just it was Baba’s sweet way of telling us that
He knows everything and that always He is watching for our welfare.

PRABHAT SAMGIITA

“Sukhe dukhe a’mi toma’y bha’loba’si, toma’r tare ka’ndi ha’si…”
(P.S. 2679)

Purport:

Baba, in both my pleasure and pain I love You. I cry as well as laugh
for You. My entire existence is revolving around You. You are my
everything. You are the jewel of my heart– the most precious and
attractive thing. In my mental sky You are the only shining Entity, like
the full moon. You are my everything.
Baba, I do not know since which hoary past You came in my life. And
when You made everything effulgent. You created this world and since the
dawn of this creation You are. Since that time the divine effulgence is
still shining as it is–unchanged. It did not become faint. It does not
obey the time factor. It is eternal.
Baba, You are One but You are expressing Yourself in infinite ways.
You are that Singular Entity but also You have created many. This whole
creation is also Your form. So You are always playing Your divine liila
with this world which You have created. This divine liila is a mix of
darkness and effulgence. By this way and with the attraction of Your
love, sometimes You keep me close and sometimes You keep Yourself at a
distance.
Baba I am singing Your name and keeping Your warm feeling in my
heart– all the time, day and night. 24hrs. It is Your grace…

Definition of “Real Discipline”

Lord says, “And what is discipline? The Sam’skrta term for `discipline’
is ‘anusha’sanam’. And what is anusha’sanam? `Hita’rthe sha’sanam
ityarthe anusha’sanam.’ When the code of discipline is imposed with the
spirit of welfare, with the spirit of development, it is called
‘anusha’sanam’ in Sam’skrta. There is no corresponding English word.”

Baba

== BABA STORY: REPORTING SESSIONS ==

Namaskar,

Many may recall that in 1978, after the Jail Period, then by His fathomless

grace Baba used to check the Sixteen Points of various workers and Lft’s

while taking report. Actually, this became His regular approach during all

reporting sessions. Because while this ‘corrective style’ transformed into

His grand program of Dharma Samiiksa (’79-80), even then this way of

reporting continued right up through 1990– where He was regularly checking

how workers etc were following 16 Points, & especially the point of sadhana.

BABA’S DIVINE DECREE:

“ALL LESSONS OF SADHANA MUST BE DONE”

Once on one particular day while taking report from a supervisory worker

Baba suddenly became quite serious and demanded that a specific worker be

brought before Him. Right away that worker came forward and did sastaunga

pranam to Baba. Then GS Dada told the worker to give report. And as this

Dada began giving his report then Baba started pointing out and punishing

this worker for not properly following various aspects of 16 Points.

Specifically, Baba was telling that this worker is not practicing all the

lessons of sadhana.

That time many in attendance were feeling surprised that Baba was only

pointing out this Dada. Because those days a number of workers were not

properly doing all their lessons of sadhana. Due to their extreme busyness,

many were falling in this category. Yet here on this occasion in front of

all Baba was only pointing out and scolding just this one Dada. No one else

was getting punishment for this– that day. Naturally, everyone was

wondering why this was going on in this fashion.

BABA’S PUNISHMENT IS HIS SPECIAL BLESSING

Thereafter it was found out that the worker being punished was previously

suffering from a serious disease and that since receiving punishment from

Baba, all signs and symptoms of that disease had completely disappeared.

This was the amazing development. By that way everyone understood that

Baba’s punishment was in reality nothing but His special blessing on that

particular sadhaka. Because by that way the worker was permanently cured of

his ailment.

And, of course, side by side, everyone got the clear-cut message that it

was mandatory and very much needed to practice all the lessons of sadhana–

in each and every sitting. This was Baba’s universal teaching that day. And

veritably speaking this was a regular theme in countless sessions of

reporting with Baba: That all sadhana lessons are to be done properly.

BABA’S LIILA

In this magical and unique way those reporting sessions were going on.

Where, by punishing workers, Baba was showering His divine grace yet

simultaneously He was giving an eternal teaching for all to follow. And

ultimately all we can really say is that Baba’s way of giving punishment to

sadhakas is His divine liila since Baba is Parama Purusa and as human

beings we cannot perfectly explain how or why He was doing everything.

BABA’S PROVEN AND STANDARD APPROACH

But one thing is sure, that this was Baba’s standard approach to take

report from workers and if their social service activities or sadhana was

not up to the proper standard, then Baba would reveal how that particular

wt was not following 16 points properly. And very commonly it was the case

that Baba would tell that the wt was not doing all the lessons of sadhana.

And that was the reason why the person could not get the necessary

inspiration or sufficient energy to fulfill his social service

responsibilities.

Because Baba was telling again and again that by doing all the lessons of

sadhana– especially dhyana– then one will always receive the requisite

strength and inspiration to fulfill all their duties in life and serve the

society.

This much we all understood from Baba’s reporting style those days.

PRESENT DAY CIRCUMSTANCES

So today when we see our organisation in a crisis situation it can be

easily concluded that a major factor behind this downfall is that people,

and especially workers, are not properly following 16 points. Most notably

certain top Dadas are not correctly doing their sadhana– either skipping

lessons entirely or doing them in a faulty or haphazard manner. Otherwise

what can be the cause of all this disarray and chaos in the upper echelons

of our organisation.

Consequently, when the standard of sadhana is down then everything goes in

he wrong direction– both in individual and collective life. This is the

clear cut outcome and today we can see the poor results.

BABA’S BLESSING:

SIXTEEN POINTS BRINGS WELFARE IN ALL THE SPHERES

At the same time if Sixteen Points and sadhana again becomes a dominant

factor in anyone’s life then automatically everything will become better

and better in each and every sphere of one’s existence. In all regards, in

all circumstances, that sadhaka will be met with success– on all the

levels from their personal careers to their dharma pracara activities etc.

Then their whole existence will grow and shine in a positive and sparkling

way. This is Baba’s grand blessing and ultimate guarantee.

Baba says, “…In order to march ahead on the road of human welfare, we

will have to strengthen ourselves in all the arena of life. The complete

seeds of welfare in all the spheres– physical, mental, moral, social and

spiritual– are embedded in the sixteen points. Hence be firm on the

sixteen points.” (A’nanda Va’nii, #45)

Namaskar,

Girish

Note 1: SIXTEEN POINTS IS RIGHT EXERCISE

Here again Baba demonstrates that by doing sadhana properly and adhering to

His tenants of 16 Points, then by His grace one will gather the necessary

strength to do His work and become a perfect medium for carrying out His

divine mission.

Baba says, “What is the best way to strengthen the mind? The best and

proper way is to strictly observe the 16 Points. The more rigidly you

follow the 16 Points, the more your mental strength will increase. It will

increase so much that it will be more powerful than the collective mental

strength of 100,000 people. In a psychic clash they will have to concede

victory to you… So you must endeavour to develop your psychic strength –

this is your bounden duty. The more rigidly you follow the 16 Points, the

more psychic strength you will acquire. It will not take you long.” (AV-7,

p.80)

PRABHAT SAMGIITA

PS Intro: This is a neo-humanistic song as it expresses love and affection

for those shelterless, homeless, and downtrodden people. We know that Baba

has made songs which reflect all aspects of AM ideology. This song

expresses empathy and compassion towards the suffering humanity and

propagates neo-humanistic ideals. This is the unique quality of this song.

“A’siya’che sedin ogo a’shrayahiin…” (PS 1222)

Purport:

The golden era has come; sadavrata [1] has started. Now everywhere the

divine flow is spreading all around. In this human family, no one will be

downtrodden; no one will suffer. Those who are without shelter, I am

calling you. The day has come when His door has opened for you. By Baba’s

causeless grace, He has come to save the suffering humanity– to turn your

tears into smiles. It is His infinite compassion. For those who have

neither food, nor clothing, nor shelter, everyone will be served. Now no

one need suffer from any want in this world.

In this golden, new era, no one in our human family needs to go under

the tree in search of shelter. Everyone will have their own hearth and

home– their own abode. Nobody will be homeless. We are all kith and kin;

we are all one family; Parama Purusa is our Divine Father. Not a single

human being shall remain as an orphan or distressed any longer. Those dark

days are gone by His grace. All will equally receive His love and

affection. Everyone will get His sweet touch; everyone will feel His divine

blessing and infinite love.

By Baba’s grace there will be plenty for one and all; no one need

undergo the pangs of hunger and thirst. The loud lamentations of the

suffering humanity will be gone forever. Everyone will have the opportunity

to live life in a new way; all will feel content in their heart and mind

and move towards Parama Purusa, the Goal. The cimmerian darkness of avidya’

maya will vanish forever. Now, by His grace, divinity has awakened in the

minds of human beings.

The golden dawn has descended on this earth. It is His grace; it is His

grace…

NOTES FOR PRABHAT SAMGIITA #1222:

[1] Sada’vrata: ‘Sada’ literally means ‘always’ as in to do every day;

‘vrat’ literally means ‘vow’ as in to always remain committed to helping

others. So sada’vrata means always ready to serve whenever the opportunity

comes. It is not that if one did sadavrata on Monday then one need not to

do it on Tuesday. Always one is to be ready and willing to serve others.

Whatever those people need, then one must help them fulfill that need.

Hence helping poor and seeing them as expressions of Parama Purusa is

called sada’vrata. As we all know, our AM social service endeavours include

sada’vrata– the mass distribution of food, clothing, medicine, and all

sorts of requirements and amenities.

Here in His below guideline Baba describes how sada’vrata is related with

our sadhana practice.

Baba says, “In the third stage of sa’dhana’ sa’dhakas accepts the cognitive

faculty as their goal. They wish to advance along the spiritual path while

simultaneously serving the subtler expressions of Parama Purus’a. This is

the true dharma of human beings. The sada’vrata (mass feeding & clothing

distribution etc) which you organize comes within the scope of this

practice. While performing sa’dhana’ in this stage the human mind attains a

greater proximity to Parama Purus’a and sees the entire universe as a

divine expression of Parama Purus’a. Through this realization one enjoys

pure unblemished bliss. When people served good food during sadavrata smile

happily, you feel inner joy.” (APH-6)

[2] TRANSLATIONS OF PRABHA’T SAMGIITA #1222:

Here are the first two Bengali Bengali lines of this Prabhat Samgiita:

A’siyeche sedin ogo a’shrayahiin

Tave tare ta’r dva’r khule geche, khuleche

And here below is a basic translation & fundamental idea of those lines:

O’ my brothers and sisters, those who are without shelter,

the day has come when His door has opened for you.

So in the above stanza the bhakta is telling the humanity that no one will

be shelterless any longer. Parama Purusa is bringing all unto Him and

everyone will be served.

Now look how these very same lines were translated on one of our sanctioned

Prabha’t Samgiita websites:

O’ Lord, the one needing no shelter, the day has come when for you their doors have opened.

Please excuse me, but by reading the above anyone can see how this latter

translation has gone a bit astray.

Here the entire point is that Prabhat Samgiita is Baba’s divine gift to the

humanity, so we should be careful and diligent in its presentation.

Otherwise, we can see how it may get translated.

Treatment For Hunch-Back and Stiffness

Baba says:

“When calcium builds up and gets deposited in the back it becomes hard.

That is why when people are very young then their backbone is quite

flexible but due to an accumulation of calcium over just a few years then

by the time they are teen-agers already their spinal column has become

stiff and rigid.” (SC-8)

“Doing noakasana, utkata paschimottanasana, and shalabasana etc eliminates

the possibility of developing a hunched back. So those doing hard manual

labor that demands bending the back for extended periods of time should do

these aforementioned asanas on a regular basis. That will prevent them from

suffering from hunch-back in the future.” (SC-8)

“Jakhani bha’vi kichu cini bujhi, dekhi a’mi kichu ja’ni na’…” (PS 3225)

Purport:

When my little ego dominates then I think that I know and understand everything. It is only later that I realize that I do not know anything– I know not. When I try to move on the path with my own strength, then it is difficult for me to decide what I want to do and what is my goal.   From the origin of which unknown source am I floating and floating, from far to the farthest place, in the search of that unknown divine Entity. Day and night I am searching and wandering; why I wander around I do not understand.
O’ karunamaya, what type of divine play do You do with me. What type of liila do You go on playing with this unit entity. How can this divine play between unit and cosmic continue without Your grace. Baba, You are everything, only by Your grace is anything possible…

== STORY: DADAJI’S LUST & INFATUATION ==

Namaskar,
The news presented in this letter shows what a few Dadas are doing. We should all consider the scene after going over Baba’s related guidelines.

ONE FATEFUL REPORTING SESSION

The following is one Baba story from a reporting session which sheds light on this entire topic.

There once was a Dada who bought a very simple, ordinary pen – that cost only 1 rupee – and he presented it to one female whom he was attracted to.

Some days later, that Dada was in a general reporting session. Many workers were present. After some time Baba directed His attention to that Dada. In front of one and all, Baba strongly pointed out that Dada.

Baba said, “Why did you waste organisational money in that way. There are so many suffering people whom we are trying to help and you are using organisational funds on a gift for a female whom you favour.”

Baba then mercilessly beat that Dada with His own hand and told to everyone that this Dada’s dealing was totally sinful.

All present that day witnessed how in the presentation of His loving liila, Baba displayed His full fury to save that Dada from his low-minded manner of gross attachment to a member of the opposite sex.

The real problem was not the amount of money involved, after all it was only 1 rupee. Baba clearly was rectifying that Dada of his defective and imbalanced state of mind where his vrtti of attachment for one female overpowered his sense of rationality.

Baba’s overall guideline is that our resources (physical and psychic) should be used for genuine causes and not directed toward those whom we favour under the influence of lower propensities. That is Baba’s special teaching. By Baba’s grace the aforementioned Dada could rectify himself and thereafter lead a successful career as an acarya of the Marga.

Keeping all of the above in mind, kindly review this below news update about the behaviour of a certain Dada.

NEWS REPORT:

DADA’S LUSTFUL PARTIALITY

While groupism in any form is very negative, the Ranchi Administration suffers from a particular weakness as shown here.

One of the biggest reasons for Ranchi’s fall from dharma is Rudrananda’s tendency to let his “pet” Dadas do as they please and indulge in loose behavior without ever having to face any punishment or threat thereof. Rudrananda fully sanctions all the misdeeds of his pets. The wrongdoing of Dada C is widely known in the organisation but Rudrananda is knowingly protecting him for political gains.

Here below is a case study for your review. Kindly evaluate how far Dada C is stuck in the mud of ekdarshita’ dos’a, i.e. partiality or favouritism, under the influence of lower propensities.

In Mumbai, Dada C bought a flat (apartment) for one sister using organizational money. This flat was purchased from Mr. H.B Lal’s son-in-law. During every visit to Mumbai, Dada C visits the jagrti for just a few hours and then immediately rushes over to that female’s flat.

Here it should be understood that the flat Dada bought is in the most luxurious and exclusive section of Mumbai. It is a very expensive neighborhood.

Dadaji’s infatuation is so much for this girl that he has basically taken undue benefits of this girl’s poverty as her father was blind and mother a simple house lady. Indeed, Dada C been supporting this female since she was a child. He paid for her education, lodging, and upbringing from her youth all the way up to adulthood. He visited this girl on a regular basis during those many years.

Dadaji collects money from margiis for various projects and diverts those funds and expends them on this one girl whom he favours.

And there is much more to the story, so please read furthermore.

Originally this girl was from the most destitute part of Mumbai. As we know there are literally millions of other poor people suffering in such a manner, but instead of trying to help the society on the whole through social service projects, Dada C selected this one girl as his chosen one. Indeed, Dada C fell in love with that family and hand-picked her when he was posted in Mumbai a long time back.

Initially, many thought that Dada C was simply expressing his fatherly regards, but over time it has become painfully clear that something much worse is operating and driving him to behave in this manner. Because it is totally abnormal for a 75 year old Wt or renunciate to have this kind of relation with a now grown female of 35 years of age.

Dada gives preference to staying at this female’s flat and never sleeps at the jagrti when he visits Mumbai. Her fancy apartment has become his hideaway or special enclave. It is not the girl’s fault; she is innocent as this all started when she was just 5 or 6 years of age and now she is in her 30’s. Clearly, Dadaji indoctrinated her into this type of dealing. And the worst part is that to keep her as his own, Dada keeps her away from all Ananda Marga functions. So he does not even do any dharma pracara with her. Just he reserves her for his own personal comforts and enjoyment. Dada is that infatuated with her.

This case is well-known to many, many margiis and Wts of Mumbai.

But when anyone raises this matter with Dada C, then he loses his temper and gets totally angry and boisterous. That is why others have come to simply observe. Plus with the outbreak of extreme groupism, margiis have directed their attention to other matters.

As mentioned, the girl’s father became blind and the family was very poor. So they were very vulnerable to Dadaji’s ways since he came around with a big, fat wallet. And the father died a few years ago so now he is out of the picture entirely. Only the mother is alive and she is totally simple and sees herself as 100% obliged to Dadaji. Thus she has no objection to a monk spending so much personal time with her daughter. After all Dada “rescued” the family from poverty and now both mother and daughter live in this plush apartment paid for by Dadaji. The apartment itself cost millions and millions of rupees – all purchased with organisational money.

Now that the mother has become elderly – and even from the beginning – Dada C paid no special attention to her; his entire attachment and infatuation is directed towards the daughter.

While the daughter has been initiated, she is kept arms-length from the organisation and Dada C even himself arranged her marriage to a children’s home boy.  Even though the girl is now married, Dada C stays there regularly especially when the husband is away for work duties etc. Actually the husband lives primarily in Pondicherry (South India), so mostly Dada C is alone with the girl. The husband is a pet of Dada C, that is why he was selected to marry the girl, so he feels so indebted to Dada C. The husband has no eyes to see all that is going on behind the curtain.

Under the burden of obligation the mother says nothing about all this.

RUDRANANDA ALSO PARTICIPATES

But we know that this is totally abnormal behavior according to any organizational rule. It has also been noticed that Rudrananda visits the same flat every so often and takes no action against Dada C. No inquiries, nothing. Rudrananda has not been seen engaging in sexual impropriety but it is unclear why he sleeps there and not in the jagrti.

Indeed as we all know, Dada C has a tendency to develop intimate relationships with sisters. This is his horrible weakness. He has a long track record in this regard yet his boss overlooks the matter entirely. Rudrananda automatically condones anything Dada C does.

MORE ABOUT DADA C’S DEALINGS

In general and in many ways, Dada C’s behaviour is not good. He is a very bad example as he bullies Didis and junior Dadas. Yet all along he is protected by Rudrananda.

In fact, Dada C was initiated by Rudrananda. And Rudrananda is well known for giving indulgence to such tendencies of ideologically bankrupt WTs in order to gain their blind support for the power game in Central Office. That is Rudrananda’s manner.

Here is one other related account: Not too long ago Dada C physically molested the daughter of a revered margii in Ranchi. The whole Central Office of Ranchi Administration took no action against this heinous crime. Instead, Rudrananda and his followers used their entire means to suppress the crime.

So that is yet another example of many regarding Dada C’s immoral dealing.

Plus Dada C takes special interest in the affairs of Pune. Over time he has treats this unit as his parental property. So much so, that he registered Pune Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha land in his own name and not in the name of General Secretary as per the conventions given by Baba Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji.

In Pune Dada C has been visiting the Bhukti Pradhan’s house frequently and obliges one lady in the neighborhood to serve him meals on regular basis. Mr. C’s behavior in Pune resembles that of Mumbai where he comes to the jagrti for a few short hours and then rushes to his special place where he enjoys the female company and pampered treatment.

Dada C visits the BP and stays at his home for many, many days inspite of having a full-fledged jagrti in Pune. We don’t  know for sure if he is engaged sexually with the neighbour lady but we have every reasons to believe that since he stays at Shivaji’s place only for that lady who brings food to Mr. C every day.  This story about Mr. C is known amongst WTs and Margiis in Pune.

INCIDENT IN NAGPUR: DADA C & DADA N

Even then, Dada C’s behaviour does not end there.

In Nagpur, Dada N was posted there about 4 years ago and he got glued to one margii sister who is close to Dada C. When this news came in to the ears of Dada C, he took the toughest action he could – even defying Marga’s convention. He had this Dada N removed of sannyasi dress, and had his beard-mustache shaved off in public, much to the disgrace of Ananda Marga. This incident happened about 4 years ago.

The whole situation with Dada N could have been dealt with according to the procedures of the organization. But, it seems, Dada C was annoyed by the fact that someone tried to compete with him in his arena of female closeness. Thus, Dada C chose to personally attack and humiliate Dada N, i.e. Dada Navinananda.

By the same rules Dada C should have been punished long ago by the organization. But he is under the shelter of Rudrananda, after all.

FURTHER REVIEW OF DADA C

Dada C’s behaviour is similar to those who suffer from a mental disease where they are constantly seeking female company this way or that way. This can be proven by the fact that he talks very mellow with Didis who act submissively in front of him and very harshly with Didis who stand strongly. This fact can be verified by any Didi currently working with Ranchi Administration. Dada C suffers from short temper and lack of rational view and he bullies junior WTs and Didis.

He clearly lacks skills to communicate properly and effectively with WTs and margiis and also lacks skills to manage office. Still he is kept to maintain a big portfolio only to support Rudrananda.

For all these reasons and more, Dada C – i.e Citsvarupananda – is very unpopular amongst Ranchi Dadas and Didis for his chauvinistic behaviour.

Yet Rudrananda chooses this kind of Dada as his pet because he can be easily manipulated by him: All for the end of his group politics.

As Ananda Margiis, the flagbearers of Baba’s divine ideology,  we are not to fall in sin. This is especially true of our acaryas and others in leadership positions in the Marga. That is Baba’s distinct teaching and warning.

Citsvarupananda Dada is a slave to his own baser propensities and he is dragging down others along the way. This type of dealing should not and must not be supported a moment longer.

BABA’S GUIDELINES TO CURE FALLEN WTS

Baba says, “Nothing will result from dyeing one’s clothes with saffron colour only for show. Dye yourself within. People of some particular religious creeds think that dyeing their clothes or bodies with a particular colour is a part of spiritual Sádhaná. But remember that is all useless, unless you are dyed within as well. Can a person become a shúdra only by wearing a dark dress, or a vipra by donning white garments? Mahatma Kabir used to say –

Mana ná ráuṋgáile ráuṋgáile yogi kápaŕá.

[Saffron and red do not a yogi make
With mind undyed he remains a fake.]

“Dye your mind with His colour. Those who have not done so cannot attain Him, for this very coloration is Prema or Divine Love. The differences in colour are signs of distinction; without these differences there is identity. No external sign of Sádhutá or virtue is necessary. Became sádhu within. Behind the external show of virtuousness of many so-called sádhus exists a pharisaic state of mind. Preserve the true dignity of the word, Sádhu.”

Múŕha múŕháye jat́á váŕháye masta phire jaesá bhaesá
Khalrii upar khák lágáye
Mana jaeśá to taesá.

[With shaven head or matted locks
And ashen body a Sádhu walks
With the swaggering gait of a well-fed buffalo.
And crude mind filled with thoughts mean and low.]
(Vibration, Form and Colour, Phálgunii Púrńimá 1956 DMC)

Baba says, “People tend to misutilize wealth by indulging in their baser propensities rather than their finer ones. Therefore you will mark, as I am making it crystal-clear to you, that most of the kings and Nawabs of ancient times were, and most of the aristocrats and wealthy people of today who have nothing to do are generally wicked and mean-minded. In addition, you will see that government officers who do not have psychic and spiritual interests also become mean-minded. When we have to judge, we must be frank. It can be observed that it is natural for people to move towards sin if over-accumulated physical and psychic pabula is not utilized. If people have developed intellects which are not properly directed, and there is no administration of the Sadvipras, people become polished satans.” (The Three Causes of Sin, 30 May 1970, Muzaffarpur)

Baba says, “Mudhabhútni samadhi, or the trance of infatuation, is a little higher than this. This is a state of mental stupefaction which results from excessive infatuation, causing a person to lose all common sense. All the propensities of the infatuated person become absorbed in the object of infatuation.” (This World and the Next, Shrávańii Púrńimá 1956 DMC, Madhopur, Monghyr)

Baba says, “As human beings have passed through so many animal lives in the process of saiṋcara to attain the human life, the material objects of enjoyment easily drag their minds towards preya. But preya only brings temporary relief to human afflictions before it throws them into the dark pit of misery. Human beings are by nature short-sighted and remain engrossed in the temporary pleasures of the present, for which they unnecessarily waste their valuable time and energy. For a patient of beriberi, the use of salt is prohibited, but in the pursuit of temporary satisfaction he may use salt, even while knowing that it is harmful. The result is a more serious attack of the disease.” (Integral and Non-Integral Outlook)

Speciality of Ananda Vanii

Baba says, “I have already told you in many of my Ananda Vanii messages that Parama Purus’a is with you.”

“No one today is alone; even the small countries of the world cannot live separately. We will all have to move together in unison – this will be the model for the future.”

“You will surely be victorious because you possess that inherent dynamism. I say this with great joy, and I anticipate with greater joy that your dynamism will increase more and more.” (Kalikata, 12th November, 1978)

BABA

“Tava path dhare, tava na’m kare, toma’r pa’nei cale thaki…” (P.S. 2180)

Purport:

Baba, by Your grace I am treading on Your path by singing Your name and
moving towards You. You are my Goal.

By Your grace I am moving closer and closer towards You– to reach You.
Baba, except You, in this universe who else is mine– no one. Because of
this I am always calling You for Your shelter.

O’ Lord, in this decorated universe of Yours, You have provided me a
special place according to Your liking. You have bestowed everything; and,
You do not desire anything from anyone. Just You go on pouring Your divine
grace eternally.

The demerits such as lethargy only come from my side. Plus all kinds of
lame excuses I give in self-justification. Hence all the lacuna belong to
me; whereas, You Yourself are ever-gracious.

Baba, You have situated my mind in the corner of Your vast cosmic mind.
And from that corner it receives Your divine vibration.

With the attraction and resonance of Your divine vibration, the lotus of
the love, which has blossomed in my heart, is looking towards You with deep
yearning.

Baba, singing Your Name, I am moving on Your path. For me, Your grace is
everything…

== THEN & NOW ==

Namaskar,
India is a religious country. ‘Religious’ means that it is dogmatic– not
fully dharmic. Because in the name of dharma, since ages people are
following various types of dogma. In total, some things are alright but
many things are dogma. That is why I did not use the term dharmic country.
So in India since long many dogmas have been preached by various
pseudo-gurus and the common public believes those things.

Here then we should also remember that in the beginning mostly our WTs were
of Indian origin; so in that case when they joined AM they brought that
Indian dogma along with them.

THE SCENE BEFORE 1970

That’s why before 1970 a huge clash was going on as various acaryas / Wts
of that time had some gripe with Baba. They were telling that Baba should
remain as a Guru– there is no problem with that; But they were insisting
that Guru should not involve much in politics– like running the
organisation and overseeing mundane engagements.

Why were senior Wts were demanding this from Baba?

Because these ideas are very common to Indian soil. The general public
believes that no guru or monk should talk about social reform, nor about
any sort of politics. Rather they should concentrate 100% in god and that
type of teaching.

Everyone knows that this defective outlook was the effect of the dogma sown
by Shankaracarya’s illusion theory. He told that the world is an illusion,
false. So no need to pay it any mind. Hence the effect of this is lasting
up to this present era. Still today dogmatic religious monks do not want to
involve in any sorts of social service work. And if they do, then the
Indian public thinks they are fake.

And here is further reasoning why those WTs were placing their demand
before Baba.

In the beginning problem prior to 1970, Baba used to apply physical force
on His disciples. This He did to make everyone’s conduct better and better.
But some dogmatic Wts did not like this thing. So on that very point in
both their cunning and dogmatic way they thought in their little tiny brain
that– ‘Baba punishes with the excuse that this or that work was not
completed by certain individuals / Wts. So if Baba will not remain as
President, then He will not have the opportunity to give punishment on the
excuse that ‘why you did not finish the work’.’

So those wts thought with their little brains that, ‘We should raise the
demand that Baba should remain as a Guru– that is not the problem. But
that He should give up the job of president. And then we will be saved from
getting beatings’.

Thus those Wts thinking like that were guided by Shankaracarya’s theory of
illusion. And that way they were giving the logic that, ‘Guru should not
involve in running the organisation and taking the report. Rather He should
guide others spiritually and give discourse– that’s all’.

Here one thing should be remembered that those raising these types of
points– either they left the organisation or they became defectors.

The main thing operating here is that unfortunately many people do not
understand why Baba punishes. In true sense, devotees know that Baba’s
punishment is nothing but His blessing. In this regard I have my own
experience that whenever I got beaten by Baba then instantly I felt mental
relief and then spiritual relief and bliss. Plus then within a very short
time my physical problems and ailments also got cured.

So in my heart I always feel that Baba’s punishment is not punishment but
rather blessing. But many were thinking in a similar way or in the opposite
way also.

THE STORY OF THE FIRST GS

Here is another story that how people were differing with Baba. The first
GS Pranay Kumar Chatterjee was working closely with Baba in those Jamalpur
days. Baba’s laokika family was dogmatic so they were believing that Pranay
Kumar is their family priest b/c he was brahmin caste. Anyway after getting
initiation Pranay Kumar accepted Baba as Guru. And those days Baba used to
sit on a chair and He used to give a chair to the disciples to sit on. And
then He used to talk. This was the regular way He was doing in His
residential railway quarters room.

And when Baba was visiting the Jamalpur ashram then people were sitting on
the carpet floor and Baba was sitting on the dais. This was the regular way
there– irrespective of whether it was a small or big gathering.

But this type of treatment Pranay did not like. Because since long time he
had contact with Baba and whenever he was going to Baba’s railway
residential quarter then he was getting a chair and was sitting next to Baba.
Then one day what happened was that the rule was changed such that all the
disciples who will come to see Him in railway residence quarter, they will
also have to sit on the ground.

Hearing this Pranay Kumar Chatterjee got completely suffocated with this
idea. And he opposed and he became unhappy with Baba. And he told Baba
that, ‘This is unjust. I will choose to remain standing but I will not sit
on the ground.’

We should not forget that Pranay Kumar was our first GS in those Jamalpur
days.

BABA LOVINGLY WORKS WITH EVERYONE

By this way we can see that Baba being a Taraka Brahma, Sadguru, has to
work with very dogmatic type of people. They have hardly any devotion or
surrender.

Some sentimental people may not believe my feeling but on the touchstone of
Baba’s teachings if it will be judged then….

This was also one of the causes of Pranay Kumarji’s leaving Ananda Marga.
So we can see that the dogma which was coming since thousands of years in
Indian soil, that dogma also got saturated in the minds of so many of our
senior Wts and post-holders etc. And in some or other form still today these
thing are present with our various Wts as well.

THE PRESENT SCENE

Without question one of the main dogmas polluting our Marga nowadays is
that various top Dadas are blatantly involved in groupism. And by so doing,
they are going against neo-humanism– otherwise if one is truly
neo-humanistic then how can groupism run rampant. As we know another name
for neo-humanism is– ‘liberation of intellect’. But if one is not
following this tenant and if their intellect is not liberated, then in that
case the dogmas like groupism invariably arise.

Unfortunately now senior Dadas are also involved in creating other dogmas
such as building up their dogmatic tiirtha sites– as is being done in
Tiljala and Jamalpur. And on the point of violence they are doing such harm
as killing some of our own senior Dadas in their groupist battles. So these
but of few of the horrors and dogmas taking form in this present era.

However we should also take heart in Baba’s divine teaching that true
devotees do exist all around– yet such sadhakas who are the real assets
of the society are mostly unknown, not recognised. Whereas those who come
into power and grab the limelight are mostly just greedy for the post.
So we should use our vivek about what is right and what is wrong and not
just rush up and thinking someone is god-like simply because of their
seniority or post.

CONDUCT IS OUR MEASURING ROD

In our AM conduct is the main thing. So we should always make our
evaluations based on the conduct and watch how far it is consistent with
dharma.
Baba says, “Your ideal is represented by your conduct. Your learning, your
social or economic status have got nothing to do with your ideal.” (AV #13)

Namaskar,
Vidyasagar

Note 1: MORE ABOUT THIS POSTING

In this entire mail, here my point is that since Jamalpur days and up to
1990, Baba’s used to give punishment to the disciples and this approach of
punishment is mostly misunderstood among workers. The majority of margiis
believe that punishment given by Baba is really His blessing, but some
Dadas are thinking along different lines.

Note 2: ANOTHER MISNOMER: GURU PURPOSELY PUTS US IN TESTS

In a related scenario for some workers in their dogmatic mind when they are
undergoing any trouble, then they do not believe that they are facing their
negative samskara. And that due to this their problems and sufferings are
coming. Rather when facing any suffering or difficulty, then they accuse
Baba that ‘Baba is putting me in test unnecessarily; He is the cause of all
this’.

So such people do not believe that they did anything wrong and that that is
why they are facing consequences. And in that case many disciples get
frustrated and leave. Because they feel that Guru is the main problem
creator in their life. So what a nasty dogma this is– facing their own
sins and yet accusing others, i.e. Guru, for ‘creating problems’. Many
dogmatic persons believe that Guru gives tests to His disciples and He
tortures them. But the fact is something else. Parama Purusa is love
personified. Parama Purusa does not torture or give tests to His devotees.
For their own sins no human being should blame Him.

Baba says, “Human beings are answerable for their fate as it is their
actions alone which create it. They alone will have to bear the
consequences of their actions. No one else can substitute for them.”

“People often hold Parama Purusa responsible for calamities that
befall them but in fact they alone are responsible. As the suffering of
fate is only the reaction of their own previous actions. How can Parama
Purusa be responsible.” (AMEP)

******************************************
Importance of Sadhana

Baba says, “Numerous rich and beautiful cities of the historic past
are now buried under the earth. Many splendid palaces and mansions, many
churches, temples, mosques and synagogues, and many pyramids have been
reduced to rubble. With the constant change in the flow of time, how many
major changes have occurred in the universe? Similarly, with the change in
time and space, people also change. A small two year old child becomes a
smart and active twenty-five year old youth. And the same energetic youth
becomes an infirm, inactive old person in due course. Thus, nothing in this
universe is permanent. Many gigantic animals of the past have become
totally extinct from the surface of the earth. Royal pomp and opulence, the
pride of power, the vast knowledge of mighty scholars have become things of
the past, thrown into the dustbin of history. Many objects emerged in the
past, remained on earth for a short time, and then disappeared according to
the inexorable law of nature.”

“The only eternal truth is Parama Purus’a. He is Ana’di,
beginningless, endless, all-pervasive; an entity beyond the scope of time,
place and person. He is the only eternal, undecaying, imperishable,
immutable entity. He is the Supreme Source from which the inanimate, plant
and animal worlds have emerged. He is the starting point and the
culminating point of everything. Hence, wise people should utilise their
physical, psychic and spiritual power to realise that supreme
omnitelepathic entity, to become one with Him.” (PNS-18, p.6)

Note: Please read Baba’s above teaching again carefully. It explains
everything.

Baba

PS Intro: This is a neo-humanistic song as it expresses love and affection for those shelterless, homeless, and downtrodden people. We know that Baba has made songs which reflect all aspects of AM ideology. This song expresses empathy and compassion towards the suffering humanity and propagates neo-humanistic ideals. This is the unique quality of this song.

“A’siya’che sedin ogo a’shrayahiin…” (PS 1222)

Purport:

The golden era has come; sadavrata [1] has started. Now everywhere the divine flow is spreading all around. In this human family, no one will be downtrodden; no one will suffer. Those who are without shelter, I am calling you. The day has come when His door has opened for you. By Baba’s causeless grace, He has come to save the suffering humanity– to turn your tears into smiles. It is His infinite compassion. For those who have neither food, nor clothing, nor shelter, everyone will be served. Now no one need suffer from any want in this world.

In this golden, new era, no one in our human family needs to go under the tree in search of shelter. Everyone will have their own hearth and home– their own abode. Nobody will be homeless. We are all kith and kin; we are all one family; Parama Purusa is our Divine Father. Not a single human being shall remain as an orphan or distressed any longer. Those dark days are gone by His grace. All will equally receive His love and affection. Everyone will get His sweet touch; everyone will feel His divine blessing and infinite love.

By Baba’s grace there will be plenty for one and all; no one need undergo the pangs of hunger and thirst. The loud lamentations of the suffering humanity will be gone forever. Everyone will have the opportunity to live life in a new way; all will feel content in their heart and mind and move towards Parama Purusa, the Goal. The cimmerian darkness of avidya’ maya will vanish forever. Now, by His grace, divinity has awakened in the minds of human beings.

The golden dawn has descended on this earth. It is His grace; it is His grace…

NOTES FOR PRABHAT SAMGIITA #1222:

[1] Sada’vrata: ‘Sada’ literally means ‘always’ as in to do every day; ‘vrat’ literally means ‘vow’ as in to always remain committed to helping others. So sada’vrata means always ready to serve whenever the opportunity comes. It is not that if one did sadavrata on Monday then one need not to do it on Tuesday. Always one is to be ready and willing to serve others. Whatever those people need, then one must help them fulfill that need. Hence helping poor and seeing them as expressions of Parama Purusa is called sada’vrata. As we all know, our AM social service endeavours include sada’vrata– the mass distribution of food, clothing, medicine, and all sorts of requirements and amenities.

Here in His below guideline Baba describes how sada’vrata is related with our sadhana practice.

Baba says, “In the third stage of sa’dhana’ sa’dhakas accepts the cognitive faculty as their goal. They wish to advance along the spiritual path while simultaneously serving the subtler expressions of Parama Purus’a. This is the true dharma of human beings. The sada’vrata (mass feeding & clothing distribution etc) which you organize comes within the scope of this practice. While performing sa’dhana’ in this stage the human mind attains a greater proximity to Parama Purus’a and sees the entire universe as a
divine expression of Parama Purus’a. Through this realization one enjoys pure unblemished bliss. When people served good food during sadavrata smile happily, you feel inner joy.” (APH-6)

[2] TRANSLATIONS OF PRABHA’T SAMGIITA #1222:

Here are the first two Bengali Bengali lines of this Prabhat Samgiita:

A’siyeche sedin ogo a’shrayahiin Tave tare ta’r dva’r khule geche, khuleche

And here below is a basic translation & fundamental idea of those lines:

O’ my brothers and sisters, those who are without shelter, the day has come when His door has opened for you.

So in the above stanza the bhakta is telling the humanity that no one will be shelterless any longer. Parama Purusa is bringing all unto Him and everyone will be served.

Now look how these very same lines were translated on one of our sanctioned Prabha’t Samgiita websites:

O’ Lord, the one needing no shelter, the day has come when for you their doors have opened.

Please excuse me, but by reading the above anyone can see how this latter translation has gone a bit astray.

Here the entire point is that Prabhat Samgiita is Baba’s divine gift to the humanity, so we should be careful and diligent in its presentation. Otherwise, we can see how it may get translated.

== BABA STORY: REPORTING SESSIONS ==

Namaskar,
Many may recall that in 1978, after the Jail Period, then by His fathomless grace Baba used to check the Sixteen Points of various workers and Lft’s while taking report. Actually, this became His regular approach during all reporting sessions. Because while this ‘corrective style’ transformed into His grand program of Dharma Samiiksa (’79-80), even then this way of reporting continued right up through 1990– where He was regularly checking how workers etc were following 16 Points, & especially the point of sadhana.

BABA’S DIVINE DECREE:

“ALL LESSONS OF SADHANA MUST BE DONE”

Once on one particular day while taking report from a supervisory worker Baba suddenly became quite serious and demanded that a specific worker be brought before Him. Right away that worker came forward and did sastaunga pranam to Baba. Then GS Dada told the worker to give report. And as this Dada began giving his report then Baba started pointing out and punishing this worker for not properly following various aspects of 16 Points. Specifically, Baba was telling that this worker is not practicing all the
lessons of sadhana.

That time many in attendance were feeling surprised that Baba was only pointing out this Dada. Because those days a number of workers were not properly doing all their lessons of sadhana. Due to their extreme busyness, many were falling in this category. Yet here on this occasion in front of all Baba was only pointing out and scolding just this one Dada. No one else was getting punishment for this– that day. Naturally, everyone was wondering why this was going on in this fashion.

BABA’S PUNISHMENT IS HIS SPECIAL BLESSING

Thereafter it was found out that the worker being punished was previously suffering from a serious disease and that since receiving punishment from Baba, all signs and symptoms of that disease had completely disappeared. This was the amazing development. By that way everyone understood that Baba’s punishment was in reality nothing but His special blessing on that particular sadhaka. Because by that way the worker was permanently cured of his ailment.

And, of course, side by side, everyone got the clear-cut message that it was mandatory and very much needed to practice all the lessons of sadhana– in each and every sitting. This was Baba’s universal teaching that day. And veritably speaking this was a regular theme in countless sessions of reporting with Baba: That all sadhana lessons are to be done properly.

BABA’S LIILA

In this magical and unique way those reporting sessions were going on. Where, by punishing workers, Baba was showering His divine grace yet simultaneously He was giving an eternal teaching for all to follow. And ultimately all we can really say is that Baba’s way of giving punishment to sadhakas is His divine liila since Baba is Parama Purusa and as human beings we cannot perfectly explain how or why He was doing everything.

BABA’S PROVEN AND STANDARD APPROACH

But one thing is sure, that this was Baba’s standard approach to take report from workers and if their social service activities or sadhana was not up to the proper standard, then Baba would reveal how that particular wt was not following 16 points properly. And very commonly it was the case that Baba would tell that the wt was not doing all the lessons of sadhana. And that was the reason why the person could not get the necessary inspiration or sufficient energy to fulfill his social service responsibilities.

Because Baba was telling again and again that by doing all the lessons of sadhana– especially dhyana– then one will always receive the requisite strength and inspiration to fulfill all their duties in life and serve the society.

This much we all understood from Baba’s reporting style those days.

PRESENT DAY CIRCUMSTANCES

So today when we see our organisation in a crisis situation it can be easily concluded that a major factor behind this downfall is that people, and especially workers, are not properly following 16 points. Most notably certain top Dadas are not correctly doing their sadhana– either skipping lessons entirely or doing them in a faulty or haphazard manner. Otherwise what can be the cause of all this disarray and chaos in the upper echelons of our organisation.

Consequently, when the standard of sadhana is down then everything goes in he wrong direction– both in individual and collective life. This is the clear cut outcome and today we can see the poor results.

BABA’S BLESSING:

SIXTEEN POINTS BRINGS WELFARE IN ALL THE SPHERES

At the same time if Sixteen Points and sadhana again becomes a dominant factor in anyone’s life then automatically everything will become better and better in each and every sphere of one’s existence. In all regards, in all circumstances, that sadhaka will be met with success– on all the levels from their personal careers to their dharma pracara activities etc. Then their whole existence will grow and shine in a positive and sparkling way. This is Baba’s grand blessing and ultimate guarantee.

Baba says, “…In order to march ahead on the road of human welfare, we will have to strengthen ourselves in all the arena of life. The complete seeds of welfare in all the spheres– physical, mental, moral, social and spiritual– are embedded in the sixteen points. Hence be firm on the sixteen points.” (A’nanda Va’nii, #45)

Namaskar,
Girish

Note 1: SIXTEEN POINTS IS RIGHT EXERCISE

Here again Baba demonstrates that by doing sadhana properly and adhering to His tenants of 16 Points, then by His grace one will gather the necessary strength to do His work and become a perfect medium for carrying out His divine mission.

Baba says, “What is the best way to strengthen the mind? The best and proper way is to strictly observe the 16 Points. The more rigidly you follow the 16 Points, the more your mental strength will increase. It will increase so much that it will be more powerful than the collective mental strength of 100,000 people. In a psychic clash they will have to concede victory to you… So you must endeavour to develop your psychic strength – this is your bounden duty. The more rigidly you follow the 16 Points, the
more psychic strength you will acquire. It will not take you long.” (AV-7,
p.80)

Treatment For Hunch-Back and Stiffness

Baba says:
“When calcium builds up and gets deposited in the back it becomes hard. That is why when people are very young then their backbone is quite flexible but due to an accumulation of calcium over just a few years then by the time they are teen-agers already their spinal column has become stiff and rigid.” (SC-8)

“Doing noakasana, utkata paschimottanasana, and shalabasana etc eliminates the possibility of developing a hunched back. So those doing hard manual labor that demands bending the back for extended periods of time should do these aforementioned asanas on a regular basis. That will prevent them from suffering from hunch-back in the future.” (SC-8)
